What is quality for equipment?
Quality is a standard in the game that Im certain we all can agree on regarding it's efficient usage on it's usage.

Let's say you have two tools that is almost identical, but the different is the quality.
One got 23 quality while the other got 70 or so.
You might pick the better one, right?

Why does it matter you may ask?
Don't worry my friend, I'll get there.

First of all!
What I have noticed in the game is that for every 50 quality it's gonna get to the next tier of rarity.
So...

Grey: 0-49
Green: 50-99
Blue: 100-149
Purple: 150-199
Orange/yellow: 200+

Im not sure if you can go higher than 200, but atleast that is where you get the best stats for your tool/weapon/armour/accessory/ammo.
Talents + leveling it up
The reason why I take this first is so that you know what to look into before making the most broken ♥♥♥♥ or whatever before going in depth of the whole quality situation.

For starters, you'll have this whole list of talents you can take advantage of before crafting.
These talents is going to benefit you in order to actually make good ♥♥♥♥ out in the field.

To simply put it, the better those talents are, the easier it'll be for you to increase it's quality in the future and I'll put the desciption and all that in this guide, even tho you have it in game aswell of what they do and what combination to use in order I'll let you figure that out, since I got no clue, as it's like throwing me in a pit and let me figure out the goal from an empty void.

The easiest way to level up this talent is just to craft ♥♥♥♥, preferably things like blocks and decorations, recommend decorations as you can sell them to the merchant for some easy cash.
Also don't forget either of these two:
With either of these two gloves you can faster get TP to spend for your talents.

Note:
When exploring to may also find some golden tokens in random chests, they give you about 200 TP for their corresponding icon on the coin or token or whatever.

Now with that out of the way, let's start!
Attachments
Either every station or most of the stations in the game have attachments that will support you when aiming for the best quality you can get your hands on. You get these attachments from chests if you lucky. (NOTE: taken from https://wiki.playcrea.com/view/Crafting)
These are as follows:
Forge
Workstation
Syle chamber
Universal attachments
Starting off
So before we start we obiously need material, so for this guide Im going to be using sear bow as an example. (Note that some recipies need higher quality materials aswell, and we're going there aswell)

Afterwards when we start crafting you'll get the crafting menu to look something like this:

Here you can just ignore the enchantments as you can get it later on by talking to the enchanter when you get them.

Lastly you'll get here:

JUST WAIT BEFORE PROCEEDING!!!
Im going to explain bit by bit so you all understand what's going on here.
Balance & quality
There's not much to say here other than that balance is like a currency that you use to increase the quality on the items you make and quality is what the item is going to have as a result at the end.
Chaos effect, steps & Entropy
Now we're starting to get into the crucial part in crafting equipment!
First of all... Chaos effect.
Take note of the chaos effects, they will try to ruin the quality of the item, OK!?
RUIN, extremly important for this as it will either increase the balance cost or decrease the quality gain. Not very friendly in this economy. Fortunetly it won't stack as you can only have one chaos effect at a time.

Second of all... Steps.
The steps is important to take notice of as when you use different methods when crafting you will lose steps, when reching zero it will go back up.
BUT it will also add one to entropy, which I will explain in a bit.

Thirdly of all... propably our wordt enemy entropy.
As you can see the little blue whirlwind icon it will say how much you have, but what's good to know is that it increases with every chaos effect you get and will also increase the cost of balance in the process, not very good is it?

With all these mentioned we will get into abilities and consumable, which you can use in order to help you increase quaility to minimize the cost of balance as much as possible.
Abilities & Consumables
Im just going to put them all up here so you can have a look yourselfs, but before, I just wanna point out that you're going to see "Step cost", "duration" and "recharge".
They tend to be self explained, but if you still don't know it basically how much it costs to use, how long the ability's effect last and when you can use it again.

Abilities

Refine
Polish
Sharpen
Magnify
Combat Chaos
Convert Chaos
Restore
Reverse Entropy
Recourse

Consumables

According to forum, these are found in dungeons with a low chance at that
Conclusion
So when crafting isn't just about creating the equipment and hope for it to be good without doing a bit of puzzle solving and I hope this gave you all a better understanding of crafting.
ALso remember that this is more of a better understanding and noew knowledge for other people, and if you already knew this, you don't need to be toxic, but if you see possible changes please comment so I can look into making improvments for the future.

Have a great time everyone!
