To avoid this jump requiring near pixel perfect positioning you can use a trick with the gale magic.

It gives a slight distance boost when used making this jump a lot safer, could do it reliably back and forth, only way you fail is if you get to close to the edge and fall of it thus can't double jump.

Already had the heart piece, else on pickup the hand will despawn.
