Echo of Soul is an MMO that provides to no little help on the internet. There is no up to date Wiki, the website covers poor helpful advice and the translation in the game is still unbearable at times. The help section in-game does not work, so how can you progress through the game with unanswered questions of how to or where to? Well, I'm hoping to provide a guide on everything i could that will help you through the game.

Introduction

Echo of Soul is an MMORPG that was created and developed by Nvius and published by Aeria games in 2015. Echo of Soul was quite populated back then and it brought a lot of players to the game as it was not only played through their own launcher but through steam as well and that's where the traffic of players proceeded.

Echo of Soul was re-opened back in Q4 of 2022 and was named 'Echo of Soul: Ragnarok'. This version of EoS kept it's player base but also brought in returning players from the past, now a lot of players would come back just for the sake of the nostalgic purpose and i get that but this game is not the same as when it was created. However, for new players this game will be an entire new look and feel and so, this guide is to help you through the current Echo of Soul game which is now developed by Blue Potion.

I want to play Echo of Soul, is it worth playing?
This game is in no form to be taken quite seriously, you can have fun and that is the best way to play. You don't have to have everything immediately and you can take your time to require what you want or need. You can focus solely on the game-play by levelling up your character to getting gear and spending time grinding to end game or you can casually play through your dailies, buy cosmetics and be a part of fun events. How you play this game is entirely up to you.

I will say that this game starts after level 70 anything below is pointless hence the teleport system.

What can i expect from this guide?
Everything. I hope. I took quite a lot of time to take into consideration of what new players are looking for or needing. I have provided almost everything that can be found in the game from when you start and to where you need to be for end game if you want to be there.

Is there anything i should know before i start?
Yes, you might have some issues downloading or starting the game. Head to the bottom and find 'Downloading the game' section, there will be some helpful points in getting you to launch the game. If none of those work, file a support ticket. And i suggest you download from the official site. If you do get the game running and you're wondering which server to pick, pick Imidoom. Ragnarok does not provide anything for new players, it is a dead server and there is nothing for you to gain. Most of my guide is helpful for those that start on Imidoom. Another thing, do sort out your settings to make the game fit enough for you to play. So check your Sounds, Graphics and more to make sure you feel comfortable.

So with the small introduction of the game lets get to the guide..

New Additions to the game
This will be a section for all the new upcoming updates that don't have a specific spot but are still valid and some updates can lead to some helpful tips!

Inventory expansion;
You can now add 4 more bag slots! 48 bags are the maximum, and you can get these for free! Did you know if you use a golden key on a dimensional chest it will grant you many rewards! And one of those rewards is a 48 slot bag! You can also get 30 slot bags, but 48 is better!

Characters/Classes
Here is a list of the type of classes you can expect in EoS;

Tanks
If you wish to play a tank class you must either choose Guardian, Paladin or Warrior. Those are the only characters that provide you with the class of a tank. Guardian being Earthguard, Paladin being Templar and Warrior being Protector. All tanks can get you through the game solo or multiplayer. They aren't your average tanks, they do damage with the correct skills learned. With these classes you need to reach lvl10 in order to obtain an item called "Jack of Trades", so for you to try tank you need to get this far.

Supports
If you wish to play support there is only 2 classes that can give support and that is Bard and Icemage which come from Archer and Sorceress. Again you will need to reach level 10 in order to try out these classes. There are more classes that have supporting type skills and are valid for end game but these are the classes that will get you more gameplay as they are desired for Dungeons/Raids.

Damage Dealers:
There is 2 types, Critical Damage and Piercing classes.
Critical Classes: Icemage, Huntress, Duelist, Reaper
Piercing Classes: Firemage, Bard, Assassin, Tormentor
Both: Crusader, Stormguard, Berserker. (Though perform better through Critical)

At the moment due to the new Sigil System Piercing classes are dealing more damage as this system is based off Piercing with also Offensive and Defensive % stats. This does not mean Critical classes deal lower, the Sigil system still provides good offensive % to all classes.

Guardian
Earthguard
This class provides an all round support in both PVE and PVP. Earthguard has a mixture of party and self buffs so if you are playing with friends this class will be very helpful. If you are playing alone, that is not a problem as Earthguard has skills that can help during solo play.

Difficulty ★★★☆☆

Stormguard
This class takes quite a bit of time to master as without the proper rotation you won't be doing any damage. Stormguard consists mainly of attack speed and pure damage, she will be great to match up with supporting characters during PVE. If you wish for PVP, Stormguard is a top class as she provides stuns and knock backs, this class can be quite challenging to go up against if played correctly.

Difficulty ★★★★☆

Warrior
Protector
This class is good for self buffs mostly, but does have a mixture of party buffs as well. Protector has a buff that greatly increases the skill damage of 1 person in your party, or he can apply it to himself. Protector has the ability to spam 1 skill for damage.

Difficulty ★★☆☆☆

Berserker
This class is good for those that play alone, he is easily one of the highest damage dealing classes in the game and his damage is maxed out in parties grouped with a bard and icemage. He has a great burst as he provides himself with buffs that greatly increase his Attack. Berserker is also a great class in PVP as not only does he stuns but he has an ability to cheat death and becomes immortal for 5 seconds.

Difficulty ★★★☆☆

Paladin
Templar
This class is good for de-buffs as well as preventing knock backs for herself and the party. She can also reflect damage with shields that she casts upon herself. Templar is very good in PVE but mostly great in PVP as her deification skills give a lot of damage to potentially output a lot of damage. The higher her HP and Defense the more damage output she can do.

Difficulty ★★☆☆☆

Crusader
This class is the same as Berserker as she is pure damage, however in recent research crusader is the highest damage dealer in the game with the correct rotation alone or in a party. Crusader doesn't provide much for party content but for solo she can. To max out her damage you will need a Bard and Icemage. Crusader is also very good in PVP content as she stun and knock back her targets and dash through them with ease.

Difficulty ★★★☆☆

Archer
Huntress
This class is pure Attack Speed and Crit Damage, she provides nothing for party content as she is a single target attacker. Huntress is great for solo play over all which is easy for new players. In PVP she provides knock backs and skills that ignore defense.

Difficulty ★★☆☆☆

Bard
The only fully supporting class in the game. If you are expecting a 'healer' type class this is for you. Bards cover a lot of different buff skills that are very useful inside and outside of battle. If played correctly a bard can max out the damage of high hitting classes such as Crusader and Berserker. Bard is a class that can be teamed up with every other class, it is recommended to have at least 1 bard in your party and 2 in your raid.

Difficulty ★★★★☆

Sorceress
Firemage
This class is pure Attack and Piercing damage. She provides self buffs that must be consistent to increase her damage through battle and most of her attacks give DoT effects (damage over time). Firemage can be helpful with a party as she can greatly increase your party members Attack by a fair amount.

Difficulty ★★★☆☆

Icemage
This class is Critical Damage and Attack Speed. As a minor support class, they provide buffs and shields either for themselves or as a party. As side from Tanks, Icemage is the only class that can provide a shield for the party. This class is good for those who like to do little support but also want to do some damage.

Difficulty ★★☆☆☆

Rogue

Duelist
This class is pure Crit Damage and Attack Speed focused in single target. With how the new deification skill set is this class becomes much easier to play. He has a high burst damage and focuses on self buffs, he also provides a crit buff for the party. Duelist is a good class for solo play and also good in PVP as the skills consists of stuns and knock backs.

Difficulty ★★☆☆☆

Assassin
This class is pure Piercing and provides a lot of DoT effects with poison upon his targets in PVE and PVP, really good in attacking group targets. Assassin can also self heal through his skills which becomes handy in difficult situations.

Difficulty ★★★☆☆

Warlock
Tormentor
This class is purely focused on doing DoT effects on his targets. Tormentor can also link targets and reflect damage. With the new deification system this class can now provide buffs for the party.

Difficulty ★★☆☆☆

Reaper
This class is pure Crit damage and Attack speed focused. Reaper is the most hard hitting Crit class in the game and provides himself with buffs. He can provide to be useful in single and group targets. This class during PVP can obtain high EVA which makes him immune to almost all attacks he can also provide himself with a self heal.

Difficulty ★★★★★

Choosing a Class
Every character has 2 classes, however you cannot choose the class until you are level 10.
Here is a video showing you how to;

Skill Paths [Updated]
[Updated to match deification skills]

As there are 14 classes in the game, a lot of new players don't know what skills are great for PVE or PVP. Now, i don't play all classes continuously to give the best paths provided, however over the years i have done research and gathered a few Intel from other players for the skills you need in order to have at least some damage. Bare in mind these are skill paths used before opening your deification skills, as in the future you will need to change your skill path as some skills will replace current ones. You can buy an amnesia in the Egg Shop for 200 Eggs to re-do your skill paths.

For some classes there are multiple builds you can use for either Solo, raids, Support, Damage, AOE etc. There is many for each class and everyone will have their preferred way to play. Sure there are people who max out the potential of their class by knowing all the cancellations and which skills to use when and where. Though, keep in mind that if you have been playing this game for years and know the ins and outs of skills please bare in mind that this is just a basic skill guide for beginners.

Are common skills important even when i have the main skills?
Yes and no. Every class has common skills which are located at the top of the skills menu, they are mostly in a yellow colour. Though each class will have their own common skill or passive that open when you are on the selective class path.

The common skills all classes have are Purification, Roll, Attack, Block and Sleep (except Warrior does not have Sleep.) Resurrection and Safe Haven are not skills you use in battle but are very helpful.
  • Resurrection is self explanatory, you can revive a fallen alley in Dungeon/Raids by pressing the + on the side of their names or you can also resurrect random people who are dead in the over world just click on them and use the skill.
  • Safe Haven is a skill that is used to teleport you to your last saved home point. So if you did the quest that gives you a tutorial about returning to your last home point at the very beginning of the game during Level 10, you will know that each camp or town as a 'Return' NPC. This skill lets you basically fast travel to your last set home point.

How do i know which skills are for PVE and PVP?
All the skills you see at the top are for PVE and the skills you see at the bottom are for PVP. The middle section of the skills are for both. However there are some skills that are preferred from the PVE skills for PVP and vise versa. You will have a mixture of Damage, Support and Passive skills.

Is there a specific way i should place my skills on the hot bar?
No, it's personal preference. Though some skills are used after certain skills so you could put those type of skills together, but if you use certain hot keys (which you can change in the hot key settings) then you can place them wherever you feel is right.

My hotbar is too small for all my skills..
No problem. Go into Settings, Game, UI Settings and here you will see the Hotkey Settings. There is a drop down bar that lets you add 10 or 20 slots to the right hand side of your screen. You can also check the box underneath it to show the hot keys for them which are all Alt + shortcuts.

Skills for classes

All Ultimate skills can apply any of the 4 souls, pick which you think is best but most are good on either Hope or Courage. Remember, these are skills you will learn before you open more skills for your deification as deification will take awhile to level up and unlock skills.

Crusader

PVP

Templar
PVE

PVP
Use red soul in Shield Ultimate for more damage or Green soul For Reflection.

Earthguard
PVE
You can either take Vital detonation instead of Spirit Link and Field regeneration instead of Constrictive Call. Spirit Link and Regeneration are good for Party content.

PVP
Can use any soulstone, though top is good for party PVP.

Stormguard

As Stormguards Deification skills are all AOE you will not need to unlock the first AOE. But you can at the start if you wish.

Berserker

PVP

Protector
PVE
Can use top Ultimate for buffing your party or bottom to reduce damage for yourself.

Icemage
PVE
Same as firemage, the first deification you want to open/replace is the circle.
You can take the shield for support or brain freeze for damage.

Can use Bottom Ultimate
Reaching Level 70
Levelling through 1-70, you jump quest to quest, (no you cannot turn this off). It should take you around 4-6 hours to reach Level 70 if you speed through it. While jumping through the quests you will miss a lot of warp teleports and i mean a lot and it's bad if you want to get to certain places. So you will have to manually open them later.

There are also achievements in game that you can only do before level 70
(refer to the In-game achievements section of the guide to find this, if you care about them)

What to do when reaching Level 70
Once you reach level 70 you will gain a few pop up quests under your daily missions/Map section of the screen. You do not have to continue the story through main quests, after level 70 it is a choice however if you do you will be opening all the teleporters in the map and it will save a lot of time later. You will be given a scroll to teleport to Ignea where the main town stands for all players.
Here is a video on how to get through these tasks when hitting Level 70, as a few players give up at this point because there is no clear direction.

If you have already finished the quests that were given to you and are slightly stuck on where to go to next, that's a not a problem head over to your Daily Missions which is located under your map and complete some missions. You will gain a lot of experience just by completely the following missions;
  • Daily Quest - Complete 5 Blue quests
  • Challenge Tower- Complete 10 floors of any tower
  • Solo Dungeon - Complete a Solo Dungeon
  • Party Dungeon - Complete a Party Dungeon
  • Battlefield - Complete 2 Battlefields
  • Arena - Complete 2 Arenas.

You will level quite fast and every time you level you will get a level up reward. You will earn some gold from these and a few other items that will be handy for you. Once you have a few thousand gold, head to the marketplace and buy some 190 gear for your class. (This works best on Imidoom Server). Buying these gears will increase your Attack power Immensely and you will be able to enter higher dungeons and also complete some daily tasks much easier, these are also the highest gear you can wear until you are level 96. So your top goal is to reach level 96.

(As of a new log in bonus for new players who just createdan account, you can obtain a full set of 190 gear on day 16 as a reward.)
How to Increase your Level
Levelling from 70-96
Lets focus on getting your level up. You must reach level 96 in order to reach end game gear and content. How? It's quite simple. There are server buffs that get provided or there are items you can consume or equip to give you the max experience.

But the most important item is 'Sanctuary Wings', this item gives you Resting Experience, what is it? Simply put, it gives you more experience on top of the experience you get. It can be quite confusing for new players to understand this but it literally is just that, it gains you more experience. You can view your resting experience if you hover over your experience bar as seen in the image on the right. You can find these in almost anything, Lamps, Dimensional Chests, Friggards.. they are everywhere. Even if you reach max level, you will still need to gain Experience points as there is an NPC for Level 99 to buy items with EXP.

What buffs can i use to help me level?
Good question. There are quite a few buffs that can be stacked up to gain the most experience points, but buffs are not the only thing that can help you. But lets first talk about the buffs. You can obtain these in game quite easy. Here is a list of buffs you can use for Experience;
  • Experience Crest - Crafted by obtaining Experience Crystals, Glyphs and Essence of Courage
  • Expert's High-Grade Experience Scroll - Can be crafted or obtained through warp dailies.
  • Quattro Cheese Pizza - Obtain through Lamps, Dimensional Chests, Friggards
  • Little Sprite Prank Potions - Dropped from Monsters in Dimensional Warps
  • Vast Energy of the Earth Scroll - Obtain through Dimensional Warp Quests
  • Traditional Oktoberfest Beer - Obtain through the Oktoberfest Event.
  • EXP Blessing's Party - Obtain through Cash/Events or exchange NPCs

There are missions that give you a great amount of EXP that i mentioned above when reaching level 70. Now to make it easier to complete these, yes you can click on warp and it will automatically match you for the mission. However, there are some missions here that you can do quicker without waiting. (Please refer to the Daily Missions section).

How can i increase my Experience even further?
Good question. There are other items and gear in the game to provide you with more Experience and also a soul share system which if you are playing Archer, great, you will get more Experience because of this class. But i will make a list of all the possible items you can use to increase your experience during the game that doesn't include buffs.

Here is a list of all the experience items to 'Equip' or use
  • God Stones - Wisdom
  • Soul Share - Archer
  • Soul Stones - Levelling Aids
  • Jewels - Royal Amethyst
  • Equipment - 2 Piece Luck Set (When Level 96)

There is also a buff you can gain from defeating the Dimensional Area Bosses. They give you 30% exp for 1 hour after it is killed. To get there you must either walk from a dimensional warp or buy the teleporter Scroll from the General merchant (recommended, as it's easier). On every hour and every :30 of every hour, a boss will spawn. The boss will have a 1 minute shield when it spawns and the boss will de-spawn at :50 if it isn't killed.

Once you have killed the boss, an aura will surround the area giving you the EXP buff.

Is there a good place to gain experience faster?
Yes, raids. If you equip yourself with all the experience buffs you can head into Dark Citadel Zone 1 (preferably with someone who can help you) and kill all the mobs inside. Of course there is better dungeons/raids that provide more experience but you first need the Attack Power in order to enter them.

Experience Scrolls
There is another option that only requires you to farm Dimensional Chests and have enough gold to buy Keys from the general merchant. There is a chance for 2 types of experience boxes to drop within these chests and these can give you up to 1 billion or 13 billion experience. If you farm quite a bit and have the gold you can be level 99 within a few days if you are lucky to gain the chance to drop the experience box. You can also get experience scrolls from in-game events.

How to gain more gold
There are quite a few ways to make gold and that is just by farming or selling items on the marketplace.

Farming Gold

Hidden Challenge Tower
You can farm on Full Item Drop chance. You can use seeking gear set (Need to be Level 96+) and there are server item buffs or challenge tower buffs that increase your chance by 30% inside. You will need to head to level 51 and clear every floor until 100. What is on these floors that gets you gold? Potions and Scrolls. These sell for around 50k a Stack and Tower is farmable every day all you need are Tickets which you can easily obtain from Dimensional Chests.

Golden Hammer of Botan
You can sell these for a fair amount of gold. If you only care about obtaining more gold than increase your stats on your legendary, or have full legendary and are happy with your stats, you can sell your extra Botans on the marketplace. These drop mostly from raids, you can farm a raid called Dryad with wonder activated and all you need is someone to hold you raid and you can potentially get up to 30 hammers in 1 run if you are very lucky.

Reroll Scrolls
Yes, you can craft these daily and sell them. Rare Reroll scrolls will sell the most than Epic as with the current gear you reroll rare 295 gear for good stats and then upgrade into purple then legendary. If you have the materials craft rerolls everyday, they have a 8 and 12 hour cooldown.

Collection
Anything to do with collection that you already have can be sold on the marketplace which involve outfits, mounts, pets soulstones, godstones etc. There are some people in the game that prefer to just buy everything rather than farming it.

Without Farming

Friggards Event
This usually applies for being in game for 5 hours and from these you have a chance to drop 5k, 10k, 15k, 20k, 25k, or 30k. Yes, you can also just AFK in game once you have afk for 5 hours on 1 character you can proceed to do the same on another for 5 hours. You can either save these until the event is over as you will have around 250-300 at the end of the event per character AFK.

Bullion Boxes
There is also a bullion box you can buy with EXP at the EXP merchant, this box has a chance to drop up to 50k gold, even though it is limit to 1, you can buy these on multiple characters a day. You can get bullion boxes from every monster in the game, these don't provide a lot of gold but you get plenty of these just by playing the game.

Territorial war
If you are in a guild that has Ignea or a territorial these provide gold and usually it is up the guild master to hand out gold every week to those that participate in the war.
Guilds
You are automatically joined into a Newbie's guild when joining the game. This is still helpful while you are levelling or playing solo, however if you wish to gain more opportunities during the game a Player Guild is required especially for certain items, buffs and more.

Do I have to stay in the Newbie Guild?
No you do not but it is a choice if you want to or not. If you don't, you must first leave this newbie guild. You can do this buy pressing G and clicking on Leave guild. Once you have left you have no cool down (only applies to newbie guilds) Other guilds have a 1 day cool down to join another guild, or if you left a guild and want to return to it you must wait 7 days to return to the same guild.

Where can i find other guilds?
You can ask through a speaker if a guild is recruiting or the Guild Recruitment system. You can find this by pressing G and clicking on Guild Recruitment at the bottom. Here you will see a list of active guilds, some guilds unfortunately are owned by the same people just on different characters so if you get declined this is most likely the reason. Some guilds have certain requirements to join or are language based. You can join a guild at any level, there is no limit for that but some guilds may say in the description that they only accept above level 70 or above Level 90. You can apply to more than 1 guild but only 1 guild can accept you, others cannot if you have been accepted.

I've Joined a Guild, now what?
First, congratulations, secondly get to know your guild. Don't assume or rely on the guild to automatically help you immediately some people do not wish to help you. Though there are some very helpful people in the game that will help you regardless and that is great. But do expect to do a lot of the game by yourself.

Is being a part of a guild important? Do i really need one?
Yes. You do. There are multiple areas in the game that require for you to be in a guild and those 2 things are Valhalla and Spiros. Valhalla is PVP orientated and Spiros is PVE orientated, these also have Daily's and weekly missions to completed. (Refer to Spiros to learn more about this)

Can i make my own Guild?
Sure, but it is preferred to join one with players or if you're confident that you can create one and have players join your guild, go ahead nothing is stopping you. You must be Level 20 before you can create your own guild and you need to find the Guild Manager which there is always 1 located in a town, sometimes 2. For example in Ignea you can find 2 Guild Managers, they are quite close to each other and are easy to get to as shown in the picture. Once you have reached the NPC talk to him and you can see 'Create guild' It will cost you a small amount of gold to make one, it's not expensive at all. You will be asked to give your Guild a name, think of something you like and create it. Enjoy!

Guild Recruitment: How to use it
With you creating your own guild can you now also recruit people by using a speaker or using the guild recruitment system. To create a recruitment it is quite simple, open the guild menu by press G and clicking Guild Recruitment at the bottom, a new window will open and here you will be able to type in a new description, it does have a character limit so keep it short. Once you have done that click on Keyword Selection.

Here is how it will look, you can choose 5 selections that you think suits how you operate your guild. Is it beginner friendly? Returning players? Do you do Spiros/Valhalla etc. Just pick 5.

Once you have selected 5, go ahead and confirm it. There are 2 check boxes for Verification or instant join, pick one. Think it looks good? Great. Next to the keyword click Register and you have registered your guild for recruitment! Now other players can see your guild and may apply to it. Remember the recruitment is only up for 7 days, you will have to re-apply for it once it ends and you can cancel the recruitment anytime, just press cancel where you registered.

I created a guild but i no longer wish to keep it, can i delete it?
Yes, you can disband your own guild by heading towards the Guild Manager and selecting Disband guild. Your guild must be empty from Members. The guild does not get deleted immediately you will have to wait 7 days in order for it to be completely deleted, why? This is in case you change your mind and want your guild back and by doing so you just cancel the disbandment from the guild manager NPC. You also cannot join another guild within this time as the game will still claim you to be the Leader of the guild until it is completely gone from the game. If you have not emptied your Guild Storage everything inside will be deleted with it, so make sure you take everything you need with you.

Other things to know:
  • Donating: You can donate to the guild however you can't get that gold back. So if you are in a guild that doesn't belong to you and you 'donate' you can't get it back however, you can spend that gold on the shop within the Guild. Some guilds will let you use the gold that is already there but some will expect you to donate your own gold to buy what you need.

  • Levelling: You can level the guild by just playing the game. Anything you do in game will give you guild exp and that includes Completing Dimensional Warp dailies, Completing Dungeons/Raids and completing your missions. Can you farm this exp? Absolutely it is a choice.

  • Guild Shop: This will have more items added the higher your guild level is. The shop doesn't add any more items after Level 4.
Chaos Souls - Purification
As soon as you start the game you will be introduced to Purification. This shows you that you can purify alone but you must be a nearby Soul Sanctum in order to purify. These will be at every camp or town. Once you reach Ignea around level 20 you will be introduced to Co-op Purification. For this you will need to find a different player and request a purification.

How do I Request Co-op Purification?
Quite easy, find a player, right click on them and click Co-op Purification. A window will show up, here you will be able to purify with the player you requested with, it does not matter if they other player has full 4000 or 6000 souls purified, as long as yourself has lower you will still be able to gain Chaos Souls. Using this method will double your Chaos souls and is more efficient, so always find a player to Purify with! If you have soul orbs just right click them to use them, you can do this even with the purification Menu open.

Where and how do i get more Chaos souls?
You will need an item called 'Soul Orbs'. You can obtain Soul Orbs really easily, you will be given a lot while levelling through the game and you can obtain more through Package of Challenge, Dimension Chests, Lamps, Friggards and more. They are a very common item. You will never run out of these, every soul orb gives you x100 Souls, you can only hold up to 1000. Don't have any soul orbs? That is fine, every monster around your level will drop Chaos Souls that are automatically gained in your Soul Satchel, to view this press V to open the window.
Chaos Souls - How to Use
So you know about Purification but what are these souls actually used for? Well, these souls provide you with a limited time buff and when used you gain a special % buff in PVE and PVP.

When do i use them?
Whenever you want! Of course in battle, dungeons, Raids anywhere even if you just stand in Ignea you can use these Souls anytime.

How do you use them?
Simple, Press them or select a hotkey for them. They are automatically assigned to Ctrl+1-4, you can change these if you wish by going into settings, Hotkeys then Hotkey Settings and binding your preferred keys there. This also applies to your hot bar skills and anything else that is listed in the settings.

What are they good for?
Well, they provide you a buff that can help you deal damage or reduce damage or increase your health, but they last for only 15 seconds and have a cooldown of 2 minutes. Can you reduce the Cooldown? Yes, with Godstones. (Refer to godstones in the guide) You can hover over them and they will show you what they gain for you.

How do I level them?
You don't, they will automatically Level up alongside your own Level. The max level is now 9 and the effect of them will grow bigger with each level as well as the increased % of them.

Is there a specific soul i need to use for my class?
Yes and no. Red soul is the most preferred as it increases Attack, Piercing and PVP Piercing whereas Yellow soul is for Crit Accuracy and Attack Speed. Blue soul is for Defence in PVE and PVP and Green is for Health increase and recovery as well as crowd control.

A quick run down on each souls;

Light of Hope
This soul is used mostly for it's attack speed, it also increases your Critical Chances during battle. For most classes this is the best soul to use when you begin to Burst your skills.

Flame of Courage
Mostly used for PVP but it is used for PVE as well, it is used purely for gaining more attack and piercing so this is good to use if you are a pure piercing class. Most will use this skill after using Hope Soul or vise versa.

Shield of Innocence
This is purely a defensive soul skill in PVE and PVP as it increases your Defence in both as well as reducing incoming damage. It also increases your movement speed, which is good for getting to places quicker.

Hand of Peace
Increases your recovery rate and health, it will also help you with escaping 1 crown control effect from another player in PVP or a boss skill in PVE. But this must be timed in order for it to work correctly, use it too early or too late you will get knocked as it only grants immunity for 2 seconds.

These souls will be more important when you obtain the Bamboo Effect buff from the Panda mount. This take times to understand, but you can increase these souls in further by gaining a special effect from said mount. (Refer to 'Mounts with Buffs' in the guide)
Useful NPCs Part 1
There are quite a lot of NPCs that provide useful interactions around Ignea and here i will let you know which ones. Some can be found mostly anywhere but there are certain NPCs that are only located in Ignea which is the main Town of the game. All interactive NPCs that have a shop can also repair any of your gear.

Ignea Guardians/Guides
What do they do? They show you where the selected NPC is in Ignea. When you click on a specific option in his list it will show up on the map. You will have to open the map to see the highlighted icon. Now he doesn't show how many there is he will only show one NPC in Ignea as for exmaple in the image below, he shows the most recongised NPC that all players use or know about but there are 2 more of the same NPC which are circled in the image. Some NPCs have more than 1. You can find these wandering around Ignea but not all of them provide you with the list. These are helpful if you can't remember where a certain NPC is. To get rid of the mark you will have to talk to the NPC you asked for.

General Merchant
This is the most NPC you will use either purchasing from or selling your junk to. She can also convert certain items from one to another this being Legendary Fragments. There is a total of (8) dotted around just Ignea, but you can find this NPC everywhere else in the game. You will only need to access the first page of her shop as the items on there are the only useful ones.

Ingredient Merchant
Need something from the Chef or Soul expert & more but don't want to find all different NPCs? No problem! These Ingredient Merchants will provide all profession shops and there is quite a few of them more than the Profession NPCs themselves. Find them and buy items you need to craft. The most used Ingredient merchant is the one in the middle of Ignea as the profession NPCs are on the outskirts of the Town.

Storage
You can find these NPCS in every town only, and there are 4 in Ignea. This is where you can store your items in Personal, Guild or Account. Personal is just for yourself, Guild is for anyone in the guild with the permission to do so and account is only for that server, not your entire account. There are some items that cannot go into any storage, but it is very minimum. For account storage you can only extend it with Diamonds.

Marketplace (Item Broker)
There are 6 of these in Ignea but you will find one or more in Towns only. You will find 4 of them together in the middle of Ignea and 2 of them together in Clockwork. This is where you can sell your marketable items to other players. The marketplace has a listing delay of 5 - 10 minutes, by this i mean the item will not show on the marketplace until after 5 minutes of you listing it. You can also find items to buy or browse through all the filtered sections. When buying items you can search them manually with shortened named for example Golden Hammer of Botan you can search Botan and it will show up, however some items require you to type the full name or if you have the item you can CTRL + Left Click the item in your inventory in the search bar.

Praya (Remote Manager)
This is an NPC players can spawn. You can obtain this from daily log ins or the cash shop. Praya gives you the General Merchant, Storage and Marketplace. These are helpful mostly to use your storage in a place there is none. Praya only lasts 10 minutes and then she will disappear.

Veronica
She is the NPC you will use if you do Random Dungeons and Today's Raid as from running these you will obtain 1 coin per run called Mark of the Adventurer. Here you can also buy the potions and scrolls for Today's Raid. She is only useful for buying the Legendary Equipment fragments or the Adventurer's Supply Box, however the supply box doesn't drop anything above 271 accessories.

Warp Assistant
These are located in every town and camps, they have at least 1 NPC. These will always have a Teleporter next to them shown in the image. These can warp to you any map of Echo of Soul but you can only warp to others if you have the locations registered. These are used the most by all players.

Quest Helper
These are most useful for those questing through the game from Level 10-70. However they can also be useful after as some quest you might of missed will be here that give you small rewards like Increase stat potions. These NPCs can be found at any camp or town and in Ignea there is 1 but there is the Quest assistant which will help you on your current quest.

Airship Pilot
These are only located in Ignea and you can find this NPC dotted around. He is useful to get around Ignea much quicker, all you need to do is find him, talk to him and a map will show up for the other Airships, click one and you will teleport there. This also includes Ignea Plains.

Return Guide
This NPC is useful to set your home point in the location you are. Any town or camp you can talk to the Return Guide and set your home point to your current location. In Ignea you can find 2 of these.

Romaro
This is the NPC you can teleport yourself to the Deification practice centre to try out all the new skills. You can enter this anytime once you have completed the Deification Quest at Level 70.
Useful NPCs Part 2
Berlioz
She provides you with 2 options where you can buy food for your pet to increase their level or you can purchase pet boxes and pet convert coins. Every pet in the game can convert into Pet Coins aside from [Event] Pets. (You can learn more about this in the Pet Stone Guide)

Perian
You are Level 99 but still gain EXP? Yup, this NPC is for exactly that. You can exchange your leftover EXP to this merchant for great items. Unfortunately you cannot use this EXP Merchant until you are Level 99. Anything from this Merchant is good to buy. You have a Level 50 but can't be bothered to level it further? No problem, buy a Level 70 Package. Ran out of dungeon tickets? Buy 2 a day. Need buffs? Buy those as well. Don't have dust to buy boxes from the god stone merchant? No worries, buy them here. Want to try your luck in getting 50k? Buy the bullion box. Want to increase your stats? Go ahead if you have the EXP and buy as many potions as you want they are unlimited! However your stats are capped at a certain amount so be careful. You can find this in your additional stats in your Profile.

Daoremi
This NPC lets you trade certain items for godstones. She is located in the middle of Ignea.

Battlefield Merchant
Even though a new NPC has been replaced for better, this guy can still provide you with items with the Golden Chalice you get from BF. You can purchase 190 Accessories from here for collection. He is located in the Battlefield area in Ignea.

Miss Scotch
You can find her in clockwork, she provides Lamps and some others items with Gold. She is useful mostly for the Pet/Mount Collection Lamps. Everything she sells is good except the mammoth, that is cheaper on the Marketplace for a normal version or Pegasus version. The Lamps can be very useful as they will not only supply what they are for but also can drop you Hammers, Polishing Scrolls, Sanctuary Wings and more. Which are very useful even at end game. She can also change any Legendary Magic Costumes back into a box. For example you open many Magic Costume Boxes but are missing say the weapon piece, you can come here and buy the scroll to convert it back to a box and try again. There is also the magic dye which lets you craft Appraiser's Inks which are an item that lets you randomise your stats on on the Magic costume.

ShuShu
This little Pori can be found in clockwork just next to Miss Scotch. He provides a small shop for Enhancing your soul stones. If you have any old soulstone grants you can exchange them here for coins and use those coins to buy anything in this shop. You will mostly only get +10% / +30% or +50% soulstone grants while opening specific lamps or friggards. There is a chance for +30% to drop from the Nerodin Weekly Mission.

Aegis
This NPC can only be found in Clockworks in Ignea. He can exchange your Essences into Gear boxes and he can also Upgrade your Equipment. (You can learn more about this in the Equipment Guide)

Expired Event NPCs
These are no longer useful but are still in the game, so you might come across them and wonder what they are for and well, they are no longer useful even if you can interact with them. These appear on your map with a glowing star icon.

Leona
This was for an Event a few years ago, she is located in Ignea near the Warp assistant.

Cordelia
This was also for an event to acquire certain accessories. She is no longer useful.
You can find her standing under a tree in the middle of Ignea.

Tiny Timmy
He is a random Christmas Pori located around the Raid Portals.
He provides nothing he's just chilling there.
Professions
There are 3 types of professions and those are Soul Expert, Chef and Alchemy. Soul and Chef are given to you at the start of the game and Alchemy is introduce at Level 70. You will need all 3 of them while playing the game as they will help you craft and extract items. To find these NPCs they are dotted everywhere through big camps or towns and will have their respected icon on the map. Soul Expert being a Soul Orb, Chef being a Chefs Hat and Alchemy being potion. To view the Professions menu just press 'J'.

Levelling Professions
The max level for Soul & Chef is 1000 and Alchemy is 100, you can increase this by crafting through the menu or using Certificates which can be found in Challenge Tower or Today's Raid Mission but are only for Chef and Soul Expert and they level you up by 1 point. You can also find these on the marketplace. Alchemy will be maxed out once you acquire it from the NPC.

To level while crafting you need to first take the recipes from the NPC, every time you level up by a certain amount new recipes will be unlocked. For you to receive points in your level you must craft anything that is green, yellow or orange colour. If it is greyed out you will not gain any points and red is that you do not own the recipe for it. Each colour provides you a chance to gain points, green being the lowest and orange being the highest. To help you better in what gives EXP, you can filter this in the drop down bar at the top.

Chef
Here you will craft the necessary items for either collection or consumables for yourself. There is not a lot to craft or use like soul expert but the most needed chef consumables are the ones you see in the image at the side. Now the Battle Medicine is only good if you do not have the Unknown Battle Remedy, if you have these than the Battle Medicine isn't needed to be crafted. The items underneath in the image are what you need in order to craft them as well as Essence of Courage and items you purchase from the Chef NPC. To find the items in the image you need to kill monsters, some of these you will most likely have from the beginning when levelling up or you can buy them from the marketplace.

Alchemy
This profession isn't used as much until mostly end game and can only be unlocked when you reach level 70 as you get a quest to see the Alchemy NPC. After doing so you can buy the recipes.

Extraction
Lets first talk about Alchemy Extraction and what it's used for. This is the same as Item Extraction however using this on gear gives you Sage powder instead and you cannot bulk extract this unless it's fragments. Sage Powder is useful to exchange Legendary Accessories into the set you want. Got Placid while crafting an Accessory but want Privilege? No problem, Alchemy Extract the Accessory and in return it will give you an accessory ore. With this you are able to craft another accessory box alongside the sage powder, and you can keep doing this as long as you have enough sage powder, you will need at least 300 sage powder every time you want to craft a new box. However this is outdated and are only able to do this with 271 or below.

Accessory Jewels
These are crafted to inlay into your accessories above Gear Level 271 and require Unknown Jewel Fragment. These can be given to you as a reward from the Arena and Battlefield missions, these missions can also be farmed on your other characters as the item is account storage. You will need to craft 2 Carnelian jewels and the others 1 time. The Unknown Jewel Fragment can also be used as an enhancing material, to enhance to just right click on the jewel in your inventory and use this as an 'Enhancement stone'. You can use any boosters except for Superb Catalysts but you cannot use any safeguards, but don't worry these jewels don't break nor have a risk of lowering your level, it will just take some gold and a lot of patience. You can find these at the bottom of your Alchemy Recipe list.

Conversion Stones
These are only quite useful to make the stack of the same items into one or to make items into account storage. Now this doesn't work how you want it to as it doesn't apply to all items only selective items and it tells you what underneath the item. Or craft one and right click it and see what items in your inventory can be converted.

  • Item Element Conversion stone takes 1 sage powder for every 10 crafted and has a cool down of 23 hours. Not a lot of people make these or use them but they can be quite handy for all those items that are the same but do not stack as some will be Marketable but some won't or account storage but some not.

  • Special Item Element Conversion Stone is useful but very expensive to craft. In the way it is useful is that you can bring none account storage items from your other characters to your main by using this item on them to make them account storage. This is most useful on Re roll Scrolls and Dungeon Tickets as Safeguards and Catalysts don't need to be converted as all you will need to do in order to use those is bring your Jewels into the account storage and use the Safeguards and Catalyst on that character. In order to craft this you will need 10 sage powders and 1 Matter of Noble Sage which is bought from the NPC and costs 167 gold per 1.

Yggdrasil Essence
This is a material that can be required from Nerodin Monsters or Missions. These will be the old versions and you will need to convert them into the 'Refined' Yggdrasil Essence in order to enhance newer soul stones.
Soul Expert
This profession is the most profession you will use in the game, not only does it let you craft consumables but it also provides you with 2 skills that let you extract.

Soul Expert also lets you craft Premium items such as Safeguards, Boosters and Catalysts which are needed to enhance your gems but they come with a long cool down up to 24 hours.

These are the items you want to craft everyday. The Guru Safeguards you can craft every 12 hours, Boosters and Catalyst are every 24 hours. You do not want to waste materials on crafting ordinary Safeguards as you should be using Atisan's Jewels not Royals. And enchaining Royals are easy when an Server buff of increased enhancing it up so you won't need normal safeguards.

Soul Crystals
These are good for converting other souls into another as there are some souls you use more aka red/yellow more than green/blue, so you'd might want to craft soul crystal in order to gain more. For example in the image i need more red souls but i have more green souls, so i will head to my Soul crafting Menu and if unfiltered these will be at the top. Once i have craft the amount i need, i will use the Soul Extraction icon and use it on the crystal.

  • In order to craft the Crystals you will need Soul Conversions which can be purchased at the Soul Expert NPC and Essence of Courage which can be obtained from a variety of places and items.

Attack Scrolls
These will be the only attack type of scrolls you will need. Always try to craft the highest as they give you 8% attack damage for 1 hour and are good for dungeon or raid runs. You can also craft the PVP scrolls and EXP scrolls however they do not stack, these scrolls will override one another. So use them where they are needed most.

  • To craft these you will need universal scroll which can be purchased from the NPC, Universal pens which can be found via loot from monsters, Essence of Courage and the Red Chaos Soul; Courage

Reroll Scrolls
These scrolls are important when it comes to Level 96 Equipment as you will need these to re-roll your stats in order to gain more Attack power. There are Rare and Epic scrolls, you can only re-roll up to 5 times, however re-rolling will take a lot of scrolls, for example if you re-roll once you use 1 scroll, if you re-roll twice you use 2 scrolls, 3rd 4 scrolls, 4th 8 scrolls and 5th roll being 10 scrolls. It is best to re-roll equipment at least twice, never more as it is a waste and gear isn't hard to obtain. If you can, craft these everyday.

  • To craft them you need Light and Enhanced Vellum which can be purchased from the Soul Expert NPC, Fragment of Enhance Stone which can be obtained through item extraction on gears or Enhancement Stones. Essence of Courage and every Chaos Soul.

Defense Crest
These are important mostly for long dungeons or raids. They provide you with 3% Defense for 2 hours and they can be stacked with all buffs including the deserts. Attack crest are now useless and EXP crest can be crafted for farming experience only. Defense crests are probably the hardest to craft but aren't impossible.

  • To craft this you will need defense crystals which can only be farmed in dimensional warps, defense glyphs can be found in dungeons/ and essence of courage with the Blue Chaos Soul; Innocence.

Extracting

With extraction you can hover over the icon and it will tell you what they are for, but just in case you don't understand or seem confused i will break it down for you. You can also put these on your hot bar (recommended on the right) and when pressed on them an icon will be on your mouse.

Soul Extraction
Using this lets you extract any gear into Chaos Souls which go directly into your Soul Satchel and lets you extract any soul crystals you crafted. Soul Extraction is mainly used for the soul crystals as item extraction becomes more useful on gears because of the items it gives back to you

Item Extraction
This is used for quite a lot of things but mostly used on gears. Any gears you receive you can use the item extract and you will obtain materials that will let you craft certain items such as the Premium Safeguards, Boosters and Catalysts. You can use this item on bulks of unopened gear so it is handy to use after farming raids or dungeons.

Materials
Where to find and farm all the materials you need for this profession.

Universal Items
These are very easy to come across as they drop anywhere in the game, however there is an All-in one Material box that can contain all 4 universal items. These are found within dimensional Chests and drop quite frequently using blue keys from the general merchant. You can also find these on the marketplace quite cheap if you run out but if you play enough you will gain quite a bit over time. You need these materials to craft buffs within soul expert and Chef.

Brightness of Essence
This is really simple to get, but it requires you to farm gear and extract them. There is a chance they don't drop however, if you bulk extract you will obtain more. Farming gear is better in raids because of the 'Wonder' Pori inside which doubles your gear drop. You can also equip seeking and item drop chances to your character.

Doing the raids also drops EoC on each boss and as well extracting gear. So, as you can see in the image i extracted 40 pieces of Raid gear and obtained x66 essence, keep doing this and you won't run out of brightness of essence or Fragment Stones. Yes this is the best possible way to get them. Fragment stones can be extracted from Enhancement stones as well.
Monthly Log-In Bonuses
There is 2 log in bonuses, the first log in bonuses is for new players, this 1 time month log in bonuses is to help new players catch up a bit quickly and not feel like they are left behind.

Permanent Log in Bonus
Here I will explain which items you can put in account storage, it is important to make at least 7 characters for the soul share, but creating all 8 will be beneficial for you and here is why;

Every item in the game can be obtained through other characters to place upon your main making the game a bit more easier for you.

The image below shows which items can be account storage, which are highlighted in orange.

The bonus is what you want to get the most, asgardian ore is not easy to come by unless you are farming Val for the big essences or farming Nerodin which are both time gated. Having this material account storage is a great edition and you should not be sleeping on it.

Other items are also great, Hero's Milk is a powerful buff and is great to have many of them.
For other buffs you can check out the Materials/Items sections. The polishing Scrolls can still be used as you can put your gems in your account storage, so these are still very valuable to get regardless on another character.

Materials / Ingredients / Items
There is a quite a lot of out dated items in the game and for those that don't know what to keep or sell/destroy i will make a few images or lists here so you can keep your bags clean!

Collection Ingredients
Any materials you need for your collection, you keep. Some old ingredients are used to craft some old food buffs and broiled meat is kept to craft Hearty Stew for energy. Any other materials you get from dungeons, raids, warp just sell them at the general merchant. They are no longer used for anything. Here is an image on the right of materials you need to keep. To find them i have a guide for that in the Item Collection section.

Other materials
Here is another image of some other ingredients or items that you should keep for crafting, as well as other things. There are many many more items that can be kept but some are self explanatory.
Now you do not need attack crystals or glyphs as this buff gets replaced but attack crystals can be converted into either Defense or Experience through the Ingredient merchant which are more useful.

You want to always keep Experience and Attack crystals to convert into Defense Crystals, Defense Crests are still used to this day and good for 2 hours. Same for Experience Crests but once they are not needed you can convert them.

Buffs to apply to your Character
These are buffs that you can apply to your character. There are quite a few buffs that you can apply at once and that is everything that is in the image, except experience and defense crests will replace each other. There are many other buffs that will have the same descriptions but they can be obtained through events.

Here is the other buffs that can be used if you do not have the above. These can be obtained through events mostly, Pizzas are from chests/lamps and the crit/piercing buff can be crafted through Soul Expert.

Where to Get Buffs
You can get some of the best buffs from dimensional chests by obtaining a 'Random Battle Box Buff' you will get x2 randomly of 1 of the selections which include Njord/Edun's Blessing, Hero's Milk, Unknown Battle and Unknown Crest. You can also buy these from the Marketplace or EXP merchant. Hero's Milk you can get from log in bonuses, make sure to log into other characters as these are account storage. You must log in 12 days to get them. Everything else is craft-able.

Buffs from Events
There are quite a few buffs that you can buy from event shops. These can be quite useful and you can get plenty of them throughout the events period. Pumpkin and Tree can be used with your party members. Just place them down. The poris are for yourself and can be handy in PVP as well as PVE. Liquor grants you 20% movement speed and Beer gives you bonus experience, this is good for farming experience, however if you die this will expire.

There is also 2 other buffs that you an acquire from events and they provide additional buffs for you for 30 minutes and have no cool down. You can get these from the Main events in the game which are the following;
  • Winter Event (Christmas)
  • Summer Event (Island)
  • Fall Event (Oktoberfest)
These buffs give exactly the same, however the roll effect will be different depending on which one you have. For example, if you obtain the one from the Winter event you will create snowflakes, from the Summer event you will make a splash sound with some water and from the Fall event when you walk around you will gain a blue light that follows you. You can mix and match these, but the same one will overlap the other.

Here is what the buffs grants you;
If you don't have these you can buy them from the Event NPCs when the event is available.

Enhancing Jewels & Polishing
Jewels that are inlaid into your gear are very important within Echo of Soul, these provide overall stats in everything for your character be it Damage or Health or even Defense. There are a total of 7 Jewels that inlay into your equipment those being..
  • Ruby - Weapon
  • Onyx - Helmet
  • Topaz - Chest piece
  • Sapphire - Gloves
  • Peridot - Belt
  • Emerald - Pants
  • Amethyst - Shoes
When you begin the game you aren't introduced to enhancing until you take the side quest from the Jeweller around Level 12-15 where the NPC guides you through how to Inlay the Jewel, how to take it out and how to enhance it. After doing so you are given +1 Royals. However Royals are not something you want to stick to as these are old and provide no help to your character in overall stats and will surely not help you at end game.

So which Jewels should i be looking for?
Atisan's. They are the Jewel you want to be inlaying in your equipment. They aren't hard to obtain and if you are on the Imidoom Server you can get these pretty cheap on the marketplace, so save up your gold and start off with buying +10 or even better +15. You can also get +10 Atisan's from Friggards as a random box.

Even though i said Royal Jewels aren't a jewel you want, you can convert these if you levelled them up. Also to note that you will need to buy a Crafted Sapphire and Crafted Amethyst from the Jeweller in order to convert those. To convert, the Jewels must be +15 or higher and they go like this:

Above in the image are the items you need in order to convert them and you can get Tool Boxes from farming in Nerodin instead of buying them. There is 2 types of Gem Crafted Tools, the Radiant and Glaring. The difference between them both is that Radiant can convert only +15 ~ +19 Royals and Glaring converts only +20 ~ +24 Royals. If you have the gold you can buy the Precise Gem tool from the NPC, but it is recommended to just farm the toolboxes instead as it will save you a lot of gold.

How to Enhance
Enhancing Jewels is quite simple, you can either enhance from the Jeweller or just Right Click on your Jewel and the menu for enhancing will pop up. As stated above Royal gems aren't one for using, but they can be enhanced for converting or even for collection (More about that in the Item Collection guide). But this will mainly be a guide for Atisan's Jewels. It is best to wait for an enhancing event, so save up all your safeguards and boosters until then!

What to use while Enhancing
To enhance Atisan's you will need Guru Safeguard's as Atisan's will always break until you get to +24. You can craft these every 12 hours from the Soul Expert Profession (explained more in the Soul Expert Guide). While using these you can also use Boosters or Catalysts to increase the chance of succeeding, can also be crafted but these have a 24 hour cool down. Another possibility is using Superb Catalysts, these make it so your gem levels up immediately. So for example you opened some Friggards and obtained 3 Superb's you can use these on say a +15 and it will take you instantly to +18 and you don't have to use a safeguard all you need is Guru Enhancement Stones.

Polishing Bonus Level
As you will notice while enhancing there is a level bar for Polishing. This lets you increase the stat further on your gem. For example you just obtained a fresh +10 Atisan Jewels and the bar is empty, in order to fill that bar and give it more levels you will need to have Polishing Scrolls, these will give you experience into your Polishing level. You can gain polishing just by using Guru Enhance Stones but they only provide a small amount compared to the scrolls. You can add polishing to your jewels even while Enhancing them.

Polishing Level scrolls:
  • +100 / +500 / +1000 / +3000 / +4000
You can get 100/500/1000 from 'Additional Polishing Experience Scroll Box' however these are mostly used at the beginning of polishing. You will also obtain certain Boosters or Safeguards that have a number in brackets, these have polishing already on them. You can use these while enhancing.

How to add polishing
So you have polishing scrolls but no idea how to use them? You need to apply all polishing scrolls to either a Booster or a Guru Safeguard. To do this just grab your polishing Scroll and right click on the scroll then select either Booster or Safeguard and it will apply to them after a confirmation window pops up. If you have many you will have to do this 1 by 1.

How do i get more Polishing Scrolls?
They can be quite hard to obtain especially the +3000 & +4000 as these are mostly used for gaining higher Polishing Levels and give the most experience. These certain ones can be obtain mostly from Lamps or In-Game Events as well as Discord Events. You can also buy them from the Marketplace. For the Lamps you can buy them with Gold at a certain NPC in clockwork called 'Miss Scotch' and she will provide you with lamps you can buy.

You will be buying The mysterious Lamps mostly for your Pet/Mount Collection but you will also obtain +1000 /+3000 / +4000 Polishing scrolls at random. I recon these Lamps are worth the gold as you can only get Sanctuary Wings, Quattro Cheese Pizza, Golden Hammers of Botan, Polishing Scrolls and the Mount or Pet boxes from these. However you can only buy 5 of each once a day per character.
Runic Tablet
To unlock the Runic Tablet you must complete the solo quests you obtain once you reach level 70. Once you have and equipped it you will notice that it has a level bar, well you need an item called 'Celestial Rune Empowerment Key' and the only way to obtain such item is to do your Daily missions. They do have a chance to drop through golden keys from the Dimensional chests and will give x5. Now there is another key you can obtain which you can get from Valhalla or Dimensional Chests but these can only work on Runic Tablets Level 10 or below.

Tower Challenge & Solo Dungeon
These are the only daily missions that give you the key for your runic tablet, you get 12 keys daily. You can knock out these 2 missions by just doing the last 10 floors of any tower. Or do Death Festival Solo and the first 10 floors of tower. Make sure to keep doing this until your Runic is maxed out.

How to use the Celestial Runic Keys on your Runic Tablet
It's pretty straight forward, all you have to do is have your character page open, go in your inventory and at the bottom of your bag you will see a sword icon. Press this and then click on your runic tablet. A window will open to show you where you can insert the key, right click on the keys and click on the small button called 'maximum' and enhance, this will use the keys until there is none left.

How to i open the next Level of my Runic tablet?
Okay, so you just used a bunch of keys and now it is maxed out, however it is not, the runic tablet has a max Level of 23 and to unlock the next level you need what are called 'Runic Tablet Key Awakening'. These are different from the keys you just used to give your tablet experience. These keys lets you unlock the next level of your tablet to then use more of the Celestial Empowerment Keys.

Here is a video showing you how to level your Runic Tablet;

Where can i find these Keys to unlock my next level of the Runic Tablet?
The only way you can obtain these are from the Dimensional Chests or the marketplace. Now if you happen to get the boxes from the Dimensional Chests they will drop any key from 1-23, yes unfortunately, it is random. To get 24-25 you will need to complete the Highest Raid for a chance to have it dropped. However you can get runic tablet keys 1,2,3 for free to get you started.

You can either get someone to help you through party dungeons, or you do it through challenge tower. I recommend doing the Party Dungeon route as it is easier and faster. Here is what you need to do in order to get these keys:

What you will need in order to complete them;
  • 1. Not die, at all.
  • 2. Complete in under 4 people or less
  • 3. Don't get hit by a certain attack from a boss.

Support Gear
To unlock the support gear you must complete the solo quests you obtain once you reach Level 70. Once you get it, equip it. In order to level this you need Primal Essence. Primal Essence are account storage.

Where can i get Primal Essence?
From every single Party Dungeon and raid. When you head inside either a Party Dungeon or Raid a blue quest will appear under your Daily Missions, click and accept it. Now it is best to find Primal Raid groups as Raids drop more Primal essences than dungeons, unless you can do the higher dungeons. But doing Depths, Rack or Promethean as an example only give 1 primal for 1 run and isn't worth the time.

Here is a list of how many Primals you can get from Dungeons & Raids;

Is there another way to obtain Primals?
Yes, many ways in fact. Sure you can do you daily Primals with raids or dungeons, but you can also acquire them from Dimensional Chests, Daily missions, and Support Keys from the market.

Weekly Raid
You can acquire a good amount from your Weekly Mission, depending on your Level will depend on your Primal reward. If you are max level the highest primal count will be 280, you can do this on all your characters. If you don't do your Dryad farming, you can head to the Lvl30 raid and complete your weekly there, just have a friend, guild member or anyone just to hold you for a raid.

Daily Missions
There are 3 daily missions you can do everyday to gain Primals and that is Tower, Solo Dungeon and Party Dungeon. Not only do you get a quest inside Tower and Party dungeon for Primals but the daily mission itself will reward you too with Primals.

How to upgrade your Support Gear
Just as you would enhance and upgrade your Runic, it is the same. However you will need to purchase everything with Primals, even the Experience and Keys. You must pay attention to how many experience Primals you need as you could over purchase. You can also exchange stage keys back into Primals in case you buy the wrong stage key.

If you cannot make out how you're suppose to do this i made a quick and simple video;

Deification System
This is another skill system that lets you either replace/increase your current skills or give you new skills. Deification will take you years to fully complete all 24 levels and you can only choose your skill, not your passive. When you unlock this at Level 70 you will be given 1 free skill point to use which lets you unlock 1 skill of your choice after that you will unlock the first passive, how it unlocks is;
Skill > Passive > Skill > Passive and so on. Each level will increase the Mistilteinn you need.

Is there a way to test all Deification skills before i make a choice?
Yes but you need to be Level 70 and have completed the Deification quest first. In here you can test all the skills on your current class. If you wish to test the skills on your 2nd class you have to exit this area and change your path. So for example you enter in as Firemage and test the skills for that class but you want to test Icemage, you will then have to Press Escape, Exit to Ignea once outside you can then activate your Icemage build and proceed back to Romaro and test the skills for icemage. It is tedious but this is the only way.
To find Romaro, the NPC he is located here;

How to get Mistilteinn
You can get these by doing your Death Festival daily, purchasing them from the cash shop via eggs or diamonds and getting them from random rewards within your other daily missions. You can also get more via in-game events by farming the currency needed in order to buy them or discord events that can give these as a reward for completing certain tasks.
To unlock a skill press the + button after pressing alt + k to open your skills menu. You will first unlock a skill for free, and then afterwards you will need 73 to unlock a passive. Do remember to buy x2 Mistilteinn every day via the egg shop.

There are other ways to increase your chance to obtain more Mistiltienn a day, however it is quite teadious and that is by completing the Death Festival solo and party every day on each of your alternative characters for a chance to drop Protected Mistiltienn. This lets you put the protected in your account storage and open it on your main character.

Soul Share
This system is probably the most part of the game you have to grind for and you have to play every character. This can be optional, if you wish to stay and play the game to it's fullest potential i recommend doing this. It will be hard but it's not impossible.

What is Soul Share and how can it help me?
Soul share is a system that provides you with a certain % buff with selective characters. All characters in the game will provide you with 1 type of buff. These buffs will help you in different parts of the game be it damage, Health, Experience or Item Gain.

Here is a table to show all the % and level's you need to be in order to have the effects and you can only apply up to 4 soul share buffs at once. So pick which you think suits you best.

Which character will provide me with the best results?
That depends on how you play. Though some buffs are more useful for different classes for example Crit/Piercing will be helpful for only Damage dealing classes and less useful for tanks. This system is more of a personal opinion for how you play. If you would like my in put on how to best use these skills i can provide that with a list below.

Maximum HP - Warrior Character
Most useful for tanks, but all classes can have this as it is useful for either Doing dungeon and raids or PVP areas like Valhalla or Arena. If you are playing Tank this is a buff that will suit you best.

Item Drop Chance - Guardian Character
You will only use this for gaining more drop rate for specific things. For example you will apply this when farming for more items you need for say collection or gear.

Experienced Gained - Archer Character
This buff is useful, of course, as you will be needing this to level up more characters as well as gaining experience for other things such as the EXP Shop or godstones. You may want to level up this character nearer the beginning rather than later.

Attack Speed - Rogue Character
Having this buff applies to all classes, yes even tanks. This buff will help any class and is the most preferred soul share in the game. This is one of the buffs you will need to prioritise, especially if you wish to use more attack speed with your skills.

Skill Damage - Warlock Character
To my knowledge this is translated poorly and so i can't give a full explanation on what this increases, but to my understanding it will increase your Attack damage % of skills you use. Someone might be able to correct me for this and i can edit it in the future, but for now it is a buff all classes can apply.

Movement Speed - Sorceress Character
This is probably the last soul share you will need and not the most useful compare to the others, as you can get quite a bit of movement speed without this. I suggest leaving this character to last for levelling unless you are playing Sorceress as your main.

Crit Accuracy & Piercing - Paladin Character
After attack speed this is the most useful skill for all damage classes and is important to level up however this is the least one to use for tanks.

Which soul share should i use for my class?
Personal preference. I can again place my in put in what i use for my Tank and Damage classes and give it as an example. But please bare in mind everyone will have their preferred soul shares.

  • Tanks - Maximum HP, Skill Damage, Attack Speed, Item Drop/Movement Speed
Reason: Movement Speed is not the most useful, but for tanking and getting through the dungeons faster is my personal preference, helps to gather monsters faster if dismounted.

  • Damage - Attack Speed, Skill Damage, Crit Accuracy & Piercing, Maximum HP
Other - You can replace Maximum HP with Item Drop Rate for gaining more items or gears. You can use movement speed in Valhalla at the beginning to get around faster to find essences.
Use Experience Gained for whenever you are taking the time to level your character be it through Dungeons or raids alongside experience buffs. Otherwise this is not a permanent soul skill to apply.
God Stones
God stones are another system that provides you with effect bonus stats and you unlock these with Gold and Experience. This system is not character bound, god stones apply to all of your characters on the same server, so you will only need to unlock them one time.

How to Unlock God Stone slots
You won't be able to unlock anything until you are Level 70. Once you are level 70 you will need Gold and Experience to unlock each god stone slot. With the gold you got from levelling you can easily open the first god stone slot, after that you will need 30,000 gold to unlock the 2nd one. You will need 5,511,000 million gold and 2,550,000,000,000 Experience to unlock them all. Gold won't be a problem for you however gaining experience will and you will have to grind experience to unlock them. You won't be able to unlock all the god stones at once as you are also required to be Level 99 to unlock most of them.
Here is an image showing you the full opening effects of all the god stone slots.
You can hover over the god stone slots to see what you will need in order to open it.

(You find out how to gain more gold and levelling throughout this guide)

I have unlocked a god stone slot, what goes inside?
After spending your gold and experience on a slot you gain an opening effect
but you also now have an empty slot and this is where you equip god stones.

Here is a list of all god stones you can acquire:
  • Patience - Decreases damage taken
  • Accuracy - Increases (absolute) crit chance
  • Calm - Increases CP recovery
  • Luck - Increases Item drop chance
  • Wisdom - Increases EXP gained
  • Concentration - Decreases Soul Skill cool down
  • Heal - Increases HP recovery
  • Vitality - Decreases Energy use
  • Swiftness - Increases Movement Speed

And a list of how many you can equip of each one:
  • Patience = 3
  • Accuracy = 2
  • Calm = 2
  • Luck = 2
  • Wisdom = 2
  • Concentration = 1
  • Heal = 3
  • Vitality = 1
  • Swiftness = 2

There are 4 rarities of god stones being:
Good, Rare, Epic, Legendary

To obtain these you will need a material called God stone dust and to get this you'll need to complete some missions through Daily and weekly to obtain boxes which are the following;
All of these can be farmed on all characters as the boxes/dust can be placed into the account storage. Farming the boxes only provide you with the good rarity which are the lowest and are more useful to Item Extract than to use or keep. Using the Item Extraction on these will give you dust between 2-8. However, you will need them for your Item Collection if you haven't done that already.
(To know more about that, Refer to the Item Collection section)

What can i use my God Stone Dust for?
Once you have enough dust you can go to the god stone NPC which is located in Ignea near the storage managers. Here you can buy boxes with the dust. Now some are better than others of course however it is random on what you will receive. For example if you buy the legendary god stone box there is a chance you will also receive a lower rarity god stone as there is a low chance to obtain a legendary. In the end it is a gamble.

There is also another NPC you can buy god stone boxes from and that is the EXP Merchant, however you need to be Level 99 to use your left over EXP to buy anything from her and it's 1 box per character daily.

Enhancing God stones
You can enhance your God stones with the variety of God stone Enhancement scrolls. As long as the percentage is above 95%, you'll likely succeed. Anything below, you have a chance to fail and destroy your god stone. Beware not to go too far, as you'll easily destroy your god stone. You can acquire god stone enhancement scrolls from the daily trust/horror god stone boxes you receive, but also through the god stone merchant.

How to Enhance your God Stones
You will need enhancing scrolls, once you have them you can go ahead and right click on the god stone you want to enhance. You will see a window pop up the first time you do this it will always be 100% succeed. If you are enhancing good god stones the 2nd time you enhance it will become 80% succeed rate. If you wish to get a higher % succeed rate you will need to buy the 5% or 10% scrolls from the NPC. You can get 30% scrolls, however they are quite harder to obtain but you can buy them from the marketplace.

The higher the rarity the higher the succeed, meaning if you have an Epic god stone you can have a lower % succeed rate so you can get to stage 5 at least which is a better improvement than enhancing the lowest god stones. You can also buy god stones on the marketplace if you don't wish to test your luck as this system is luck based.

Extra: You can buy God Stone Lamps in the cash shop via eggs or Lamps with gold at Miss Scotch NPC at Clockwork.
Sigil System
This system is a cashed system, but it isn't entirely. If you are a F2P you will have to activate the Chaos Sigil first. For the others you will need diamonds to unlock them or find the item on the marketplace for gold.

Here is how to activate your Sigil:

Hopefully as a new player you have activated this Sigil at the beginning but you won't be needed this until you reach Level 70 or even at it's best Level 96.

What is the Sigil system and how does it work?
The Sigils are what gives you an increase % in Offence, Defence and Piercing. There are 4 colours in the system and those being Hope, Courage, Harmony & Chaos. All have their different effectiveness, so if you know your types on pokemon for example they all have their strengths and weaknesses, well this is the same.

Here is a brief explanation regarding the Strengths and weaknesses:

On the right image shows you what it looks like.

The Sigil Stone does have it's own explanation which you can find on the '?' icon. So it will show you that Hope(Yellow) is strong against Red whereas it is weak towards green, Red(Courage) Is strong against Green but weak against Yellow, Harmony(Green) is strong against Yellow but weak against Red & Chaos is Neutral for all so it has no weakness or no strengths, hence it being the first Sigil F2P players must choose.

Is it really important to have this?
Yes, that is because Bosses and monsters all have their own Sigil Colour. And for you to be doing more damage you must choose the Sigil Stone that represents the strength towards them. So for example when you click on a boss the icon next to it will show a colour, if it is Red all players must either be on Yellow or Chaos if you don't have a colour.

It is preferred that you always stay on Chaos until you reach a boss as all normal monsters have different colours. Fighting monsters in the Dimensional Warp is recommended to stay on Chaos as all monsters in that area are different colours as well.

Sigil Runes (Updated)
Now that you know the colours. Lets talk about the Sigils themselves. Now all Sigils you acquire are bound to every colour you open. So if you have Chaos only and started to add them, if you open a new Sigil Stone path later on those same Sigils will still apply. With this is saves a lot of time. However, this system is character bound, so you will have to re-add everything on a different character. So choose wisely which character you want to play as your preferred 'main'.

What are Sigils?
These are what acquires you to do 'more' damage and are inlaid in your Sigil Stone System. Each Sigil gives you a different % in Piercing, Defence and Offence and these can be levelled up from 1 to 8 and every stage of level gives you an increase of % in those attributes.

Where can i find Sigils?
You can find these on the marketplace, but you can obtain these by farming them through the Room of Trial dungeon and to do this you have to be Level 96 in order for the dungeon to open. (Refer to Room of Trials Guide)

Here is a list of all the Sigils, there is 15 in total:
This list will make it easier for you to search them on the marketplace as well.
  • Water of Urd - Ansuz
  • Water of Urd - Berkanan
  • Water of Urd - Dagaz
  • Water of Urd - Fehu
  • Water of Urd - Kaunan
  • Water of Urd - Laguz
  • Water of Urd - Mannaz
  • Water of Urd - Naudiz
  • Water of Urd - Sowilo
  • Water of Urd - Raido
  • Water of Urd - Peroz
  • Water of Urd - Eihwaz
  • Water of Urd - Jeran
  • Water of Urd - Isaz
  • Water of Urd - Haglaz
  • Water of Urd - Gyfu
This list is in order going clockwise on the Sigil as seen on the image, this is what it will look like when it is fully completed. In order to view them you can hover them once inlaid. And to level them up you can right click to open the stage window.

How do i Inlay a Sigil?
When you have obtained a Sigil, go to your bag and find it. Right click on it and it will be used. Do not have the sigil window open while using it as it might not apply.

Is there specific Sigils i should get first?
Yes, but it is recommended to get them all in order to fully max out your damage. For damage dealers it is recommended you obtain the last 4, that being Jeran, Isaz, Haglaz and Gyfu. These are also the hardest to obtain in the game so it is best to save up and buy them from the marketplace unless you are lucky to craft the box and have one of them drop inside. You can spend Diamonds on Lamps to acquire these as well from the cash shop.

How do i level up my Sigils now i have them?
In order to level up your Sigils, of course you need to have them inlaid and you will also need a material called Asgardian Ore. This material is required to level up your Sigils and is the only material to do so. It is best to save these and level up the prioritised ones Jeran, Isaz, Haglaz and Gyfu. So if you have these Level these up first, Gyfu being the first. To level them right click on the desired Sigil to open up a new window.

Now if you have duplicates, you can sell them for more gold to buy what you are missing. Or you can also use these to level up the same Sigil, to do so just right click the Sigil in your bag and it will apply to the same one, the first time you do this it will level you up by 1. Every rune will give you 700 exp, Asgardian ore will give you 10 exp per 1 ore.

The % will only increase per level, not exp. So you will need to get to each level before you see the difference in % on your Sigil Level.

Update
Since 14th August 2024 there was a new patch that gain more levels in the Sigil Runes. This went from Max level 8 to 16. Now in total you will need 5720 Asgardian ore to complete one entire rune.

There is also a new and faster way to level them up by converting your Asgarian Ore into Inherited Asgardian Ore and the way to do that is at the NPC located by the chef, the same NPC for Trials and Fenrir Coins. You will find it under the first option of the NPC.
This makes it so x100 Ore is converted into x10, the same EXP applies.
Just a note that not all Ore can be converted, for example the ore you get from daily login won't convert. Ore that is marketable can be converted.

Where can i get Asgardian Ore?
There are a few places you can obtain Asgardian Ore In-Game that doesn't require to empty your wallet. They are farm-able or obtainable through events.

Here is a list of where to get them in game:
  • Daily Login - Just Log in Everyday to acquire it in the month
  • Nerodin Ruins - Farming monsters
  • Valhalla - Radiant Essences and the Valhalla Boss
  • World Boss - Appears twice a day (refer to world boss section)
  • Marketplace - You can buy them here with gold
  • Cash Shop - Through buying Lamps
  • Events - Participate in events through their official discord
Daily Missions
There are quite a few daily's you can do to gain points to earn rewards. Some dailies give EXP but all daily's give rewards some good some not. But the idea is to get points from daily and weekly to obtain the final reward that will help you with end game gear.

Here is a brief explanation on the missions and how to complete them efficiently or quickly.
Daily Quests
Go to your dimensional Warp and complete the 5 quests there, can't do them? Take the challenge tower ticket daily, as you'll be doing this anyway, once inside the tower take the daily there, that'll be 2 and if you have the Room of Trial daily from Marie, that'll be 3 completed. If you match for randoms or party, you can accept the daily within in there. Any blue quest that shows up will count towards this. But if you can do your Dimensional Warp dailies, do those as they give quite a lot of exp. But throughout the rest of your dailies you will eventually complete this without doing too much.

Challenge Tower
In order to get into tower you must first have a ticket. You get 1 ticket per day from an NPC called Armalinda. If you don't remember her, she is the first NPC you will speak to when hitting Level 70 as she introduces you to Challenge tower. Take this ticket and head towards the Challenge tower which on the map you will need to be in the 'Sealed Space' Area at the top of the map, follow the stairs and head into Challenge tower. Once you're a high enough level and gained more gears you can enter Hidden challenge. But don't try this just for the daily, just do floors 1-10 of Lower Tower, or 51-60 in upper. But be careful as in the lower challenge towers if you happen to 'one shot' the boss before you aggro it, it will bug and you will no longer be able to proceed.

Death Festival / Solo Dungeon
You can complete 2 dailies in 1, just head into Death Festival Solo and complete it.
You will knock out both dailies together.

Death Festival Party
Click warp in the missions and wait. You can either use a speaker to request more players to join it or wait for one. You will see speakers say "-2 df" or something similar. Or if you are in a guild you can ask for help in the guild chat. Do not AFK for this, all players must be present for the battle if not and a player starts the battle it will bug. Use the teleporter and head inside. You might be lucky and get a carry or suffer.

Party Dungeon
Now you do not have to smart match for this. You can do party dungeons solo. Yup, that is correct! You can enter a Party dungeon without a party. How? It's quite simple. You will need to find the Party Dungeon NPC which the dungeon NPCs are located in the image i have provided at the side. You will see a bunch of NPCs alongside the wall, find the NPC called Lennos he will give you a window to access all the party dungeons. select the first one Depths of Despair, it should be easy for any player, new and old. This is good for those that don't have time to sit and wait for a dungeon to pop via Smart Matching. Oh and random dungeons doesn't count for this mission.

Battlefield
One of the hardest mission to accomplish as battlefield is quite dead. However if you see a speaker saying 17/20, that is a queue for battlefield, match for it and try to complete your daily that way. If you match and see 3/20, there is either a match happening or none at all. It's just best to wait for a speaker to announce the queue then you know you can get your daily done. There is also no time frame on when it happens, just be lucky to match 2 battlefields.

Arena
Don't click warp on your missions, it will send you in a queue for 3v3 and that queue is almost as dead as battlefield and a lot of players use the 1v1 so you will pop quicker in there and it does count towards your mission. Press H, go to PVP and click on the purple flag and select 1:1 Personal Arena.

Random Matching
Just click warp, you will be matched immediately but you might experience quite a long waiting time. It is best to either leave these to last in hope you pop while doing something else, or wait for announcement in game. Some people might use a speaker to ask for "-1 tank for randoms" or "-2 dps for randoms" just look out for similar requests in speakers. This is only good for those that are wanting to gear up if you are playing solo as every time you complete x4 you will be given gear boxes or fragments for your current attack power or later on essences. Completing this mission also gives you a box of Dungeon Tickets.

Today's Raid
Same as above, click warp and it will immediately match you. You might be waiting, but again do this if you are doing something else or wait for a speaker that is requesting players for it. You will either see "0/2 7/8" Or "2/2 6/8 TR" anything along those lines is a matching for Today's Raid. The raids rotate every day.

Nerodin Ruins
You must be Level 85 for this Daily, if you do not see it that is why. If you have it, you can see the Nerodin section of this guide as it will tell you everything you need to know about it, daily's included, refer to that for this. But all you need to do is kill 20 monsters inside.

Valhalla
Valhalla is open at these times only and they are server times.
  • Monday - Friday: (21:00-22:00)
  • Saturdays: (14:00-15:00)
  • Sunday's: (14:00-15:00) & (21:00-22:00)
You must be in a guild to go inside and unfortunately, the 'Newbie' Guilds don't count. The daily is that you must collect 5 essences inside. Now you don't have to collect 5, you can collect just 1 essence but spam it 5 times. By doing this you must not collect it once you have finished, you can simply move and re-take it. This will save you time looking for 5 different essences and it will count towards your daily. This also applies to the weekly on an radiant essence. But if you wish to farm inside Valhalla then go ahead and grab as many as you see.

Arena of Ordeal
As a new player you will not be able to do this daily, especially as it updates to Stage 5 which is the hardest level and is not fun for new players, if you can find a party that will help you, go for it but don't bother with this. I will have a section in this guide about Arena of Ordeal if you wish to check it out and see what it actually provides. (Will be under Equipment guide)
Weekly Missions
These missions are weekly and reset every Wednesday at 03:00 Server time.
You have 7 days to complete them and with some of them you may need help.

Here is a list of the weeklies and how you can get through them

Raid Dungeon
There are few ways to complete this and no, Today's Raid does not count for this.
You can either find a raid party that is doing daily primals or you can ask someone to hold you for raid while you solo a Level 30 Raid by yourself. Do not try to 'smart match' raids, they will never pop.

Here is an Image of where you can find said Level 30 raid.
I recommend doing this on all characters in order to obtain more Primals faster for your main character to level up your Support gear as Primal Essences are Account Storage.
(You can refer to Support Gear to learn more about that)

Battlefield
This may be the hardest one to complete as a daily let alone the weekly. If in luck you probably will complete it especially if you manage to do x2 for daily, just look out for a server speaker that is requesting people to join. Look out for speakers that say "go bf" or "17/20".

Random Dungeon
If you do your random daily as you need to complete x2 a day for your daily mission, you still won't complete this weekly you will need to do 6 more in order to fulfil this. However with any luck you can do all 20 in a day.. okay maybe not, but you can complete this within the week.

Valhalla
Valhalla is open at these times only and they are server times.
  • Monday - Friday: (21:00-22:00)
  • Saturdays: (14:00-15:00)
  • Sunday's: (14:00-15:00) & (21:00-22:00)
In order to compete this weekly you must find a Radiant Essence and they spawn around the middle. Now there is a trick to completing this without searching for 5. If you find 1 Radiant, take it and complete it x5, by doing so you must not collect the reward, instead click cancel and press F on it again, repeat this until your weekly is complete. But be careful if there are people waiting next to you they might just steal it if you aren't quick enough. Take the reward when you complete it or give it to the next person waiting (if you're kind enough to do so).

Spiros
You must be part of a Guild to complete this, and no the Newbie Guild doesn't count.
If you wish to complete this and don't have a guild you can check out the Guilds section.
If you are part of a guild, the guild may have a description saying when they do Spiros, check their Guild Description to see. If they don't, ask the guild when they do and be online for that day/time. There are some guilds that only participate in Spiros on specific days once, so pay attention.
(To learn more about Spiros check out the Spiros section)

Nerodin Ruins
For this you will need to be Level 85 in order to get this weekly and kill 1 Boss in Nerodin Ruins.
You can refer to the Nerodin Ruins guide for a full explanation on Bosses.

Monster
For this you will need to kill a total of 300 monsters, however that is not correct you need to obtain 300 chaos souls in order for this to complete and not all Monsters drop Chaos souls. If your soul satchel is full and you kill monsters this will not complete. So make sure your satchel is empty, perform a co-op purification or solo and continue.
The best way to do this is through Dimensional Warp or Nerodin (if level 99) however you will only obtain Chaos souls closer to your Level. If you are say Level 96 and go kill Level 70 or 80 monsters, you will not obtain Souls and this mission will stay incomplete.

Fanatic of Imidoom
To complete this you will need to kill the world boss 4 times a week, however with a bit of luck you can complete this in 1-2 days. The world bosses spawn twice everyday, however there can be 2 world bosses at the same time this is due to the amount of traffic the area receives from players that the channel gets too full and a second channel is opened.
(You can refer to World Boss section to know more about this)
Nerodin
Nerodin is opened at Level 85 however the monsters inside are level 99 due to end game content and events that have happened. So if you wish to complete your daily you might need some assistance.. no really, you will die without it.

So how do you get to Nerodin?
When you first open Nerodin at Level 85 you will be given a quest to go to a dimensional Warp for Lvl80-85 called 'Disorted Odroerir Mountain' here you will talk to an NPC and given a quest to go inside, head inside (if you have the daily mission you can just instantly teleport inside)

As you enter you will be tasked to kill certain monsters, again you will probably need the assistance. You don't have to do these quests, but if you wish to open the teleporters inside to help you get around Nerodin you will need to unlock them through these quest. You will also been given a 'free' soul stream, you can use it, but don't bother it is useless. You will need to get a blue or purple variant, purple preferably. If you want to know more about Soul streams, there is a seperate section after this.

Teleporters:
They are located next to the entrance.

Once you have unlocked these, the red teleporter sends you near the bottom of the map, whereas the blue teleporter will take you to the top of the map. These are just easier if you don't want to plough through a bunch of level 99 monsters and die as there are ranged monsters in here.

Daily And Weekly Mission
After some time, there was no point to do these, and to some still aren't. However with the new updated rewards for daily missions you can gain some pretty neat rewards. Again, if you are playing alone, Nerodin is not too friendly and you might be there forever killing 1 monster unless you are at end game.

Daily Mission requires you to Kill 20 monsters inside, doesn't matter which, any will do. A lot of people tend to head towards the Frogs and you can get there quickly by using the Red Teleporter. Random rewards are all good but you are most likely to Obtain 'Hammer of Botan' as i have noticed 80% of the time this is what i always get.

Weekly mission requires you to kill 1 boss, this is not needed per say but if you wish to complete a certain collection you will only be able to get it from killing the bosses for this weekly. There is a total of 4 mini bosses and 1 Big Boss. The reward is highlight in red. I'll say it again, as a low level or not near end game gear you cannot solo these, you will need help.

Location of the bosses
The 4 mini bosses are located in the image at the side. The mini bosses include; Spider called Tatur, Zombie called Ribeiden, Skeleton called Colonel Bethune and some death Angel looking thing called Colonel Rashed. Any of these will count towards your weekly. The big boss 'Granil' Is located in the centre of the map called 'Granil's Residence', not hard to miss. If you wish to participate in Granil it is best to join a guild or look out for a Speaker that is requesting people to join. However as of recent not a lot of players participate in this unless there is some kind of event.

Is Nerodin Farm-able for anything important?
Yes and No. For early gameplay, yes, for later, not really. I say this because at end game there is no reason to farm Nerodin unless there are Events inside. So why do i say yes? Well there are certain items that can only be found in here if you wish not to buy anything or craft anything.

Here are the items:

And in order of appearance in the screenshot is;
  • Refined Essence of Yggdrasil: Enhances your soul stones
  • Soul Fragment: Used in Alchemy to change soul stones to higher variant
  • Yggdrasil's Sap: Same as above
  • Unappraised Soul Stone of Trauma: The lowest grade of soul stones.
  • Tool Box of Master: Gives 4 items, but can only obtain 1.

  • Asgardian Ore: Used to upgrade Runes in your Sigil
You can obtain more items like Bullion boxes and other materials, however above is what is most needed, especially tool boxes as this item provides you of what you need to upgrade you Royal Jewels into Atasin's Jewels and Asgardian ore which is needed for your Sigil System. I have provided different sections in this guide on Jewels and the Sigil System, so don't worry if you seem confused.

Nerodin has a time limit and will drop when inside, but you can increase this by using the time extension tickets and the max time is up to 10 hours a day, however if you exceed this time it may not be applied. You can get these from the marketplace for cheap.
Soul Streams
Are a system that you unlock at Level 85, you cannot equipped any Soul stream until this level except The Pori Stream which can be equipped at Level 70, don't ask i have no idea why, if you luckily get one just equip it. Once you are Level 85 you can equip any other soul stream, these can be required inside Nerodin on certain drops from monsters and bosses or the marketplace. The marketplace is the quickest and easiest way to get them, forget farming them unless you want them for collection but just buy them, trust me it'll save you a lot of time as certain ones are only obtained on bosses only and it's a pain for new players to get them.

Which Soul stream should you get?
There are quite a few Soul streams in the game, but which is the best and which should you equip? Well, there is only 2 that is good overall and that is Jord's and Thrym. They are the purple variant and they are much easier to just buy than grind for them, if you are on Imidoom Server you will be able to obtain these faster as the Ragnarok Marketplace is quite empty.

They look like this;

Jord's being great for Tanks and Thrym's being good for Damage Dealers. However having both is a must if you wish to compete in PVP as a lot of players use Jord's Soul Stream During PVP rather than Thyrm's. Thyrm's is good solely for PVE content for damage dealers and Jord's being good solely for Tanks.

How can i have both soul streams, i only see one page?
Well, you can obtain an item called 'Multi Soul Stream' and this lets you open a new Soul Stream Path where you can equip another soul stream. To obtain said item you can find them in Dimensional Chests or also buy these on the marketplace. Be careful because if you are not on the right page and you equip a new soul stream you MAY replace your current and loose your stones inside, so please be careful while using this item. Make sure you have an Empty soul stream page before equipping a new soul stream.

Are the other Soul Streams pointless?
No, just because these are the only 2 soul streams that are the best in the game it doesn't mean you don't need the rest. If you care about collection you will need to acquire the rest in order to fulfil it to be complete and they will be deleted upon registering them. Jord's and Thyrm's aren't required for the collection. There are 2 soul streams that are 'event' Giran and Ymir that don't count towards collection, shame i know, they should fix that. But the ones from the marketplace will count.

For the collection you will need the following Soul Streams;
  • Green Variant - Marie, Jemma, Randall
  • Blue Variant - Levina, Riggan, Mina
  • Purple Variant - Giran, Ymir
Soul Stones
Now soul stones is what you inlay inside your Soul Streams. There is a lot of soul stones of different tiers and varieties and you want to know which ones are the best, right? Right. Well, as a new player you're going to find it tough to gain the highest tier of soul stones, but there are other options and i will go through them all just for this guide..

White & Green Variant Soul Stones
These are the lowest and you don't really want to equip these at all. You can easily upgrade them from +1 to +7 and then use Alchemy to make them Green Tier, repeat to get Blue etc. But you really don't need to do that and these are useless, if you get them from Nerodin just item extract them into Yggdrasil Essences. Don't waste your time with these.

Blue Variant Soul Stones
Now depending on the Tier, you can use these. However you want to look for the Tier which will be in the name for example Devestation or Agnoy. Those are the ones you want to look out for. They aren't the best but they will be good for new players as they are cheap on the marketplace at +6 or +7.

Here is a preview of some of them in case you don't know what to look for;
The other blue Tiers, extract them, they are worthless.

Purple Variant Soul Stones
These are the stones you want to look out for the most, however you want to try and obtain the Tier Horror or Agony. Horror being the easiest and Agony being the hardest to obtain. They can also be bought on the marketplace (Imidoom has more listings). Any level is fine however +5.+6,+7 would be great if you can buy them or enhance them.

Orange Variant Soul Stones
These are Legendary soul stones and hard to obtain in game but you can get them through paid content. However, if you can find a +1 Orange Terror Drop stone, keep it as it gives you 100% Drop rate, great for farming. As seen on the image on the right or if you have an Agony version then that's even better. Due to a past event you should be able to acquire these cheap from the marketplace.

Enhancing Soul Stones
As stated above you can just buy them, it is easier, sure it takes up gold but it'll be less hassle for yourself. But if you want to go ahead and Enhance them, it's quite simple.

If you wish to enhance low tier souls stones as practice you can do so at this NPC located in Clockwork in Ignea. With low soul stones you can buy safegaurds for them with gold, you can only do these with White and Green, higher variants you will need Safegaurds and Boosters from your Daily mission as a random reward, the same NPC, Lamps (paid) or the marketplace.

To Enhance all you need to do is have a soul stone, right click it and this window pops up. You then place your Refined Yggdrasil Essence, Safeguard and Stabilization Catalyst. Soul stones will break and disappear even on +1, so be careful.

You can convert items with ShuShu in clockwork to gain more items that are useful for enhancing.

PVP (Battlefield, Valhalla, Arena & More)
PVP is the least active part of Echo of Soul due to it's poor balancing system and not enough players willing to enjoy it, however there are still some things you can do through PVP to gain items and even accessories.

What can i Expect from PVP content?
Not a lot, but it does have some daily missions on which players will activetly do to some extent. You can get accessories through PVE however doing it through PVP is much quicker. I wouldn't expect a lot if you are a new player, you'll most likely get one shot.

Here is a list of all the PVP content you can do;

Battlefield
  • There are 2 maps, this only doable if there is an event or for doing your daily.
Mostly active during events, but look out for Speakers or shouts that say 15/20 BG or similar.

Arena
  • 1v1 Easy to match and gets your daily done, but gets you no coins.
  • 3v3 Okay for daily but pops less, only good for farming coins for the Arena Merchant
For your daily it is best to queue for 1v1 for faster completion.

Valhalla
Is open at these times only and they are server times.
However there is no PVP until the Valhalla Guardian Spawns which is after :15 of the hour.
  • Monday - Friday: (21:00-22:00)
  • Saturdays: (14:00-15:00)
  • Sunday's: (14:00-15:00) & (21:00-22:00)
After the guild that defeats the guardian all other guilds will be teleport-ed out after.

Dimensional Warp
  • It is an open PVP zone meaning any player can attack you and kill you at any moment.
If this happens make sure to use a Friggs Blessing to regain any EXP or GOLD you lost.

Territorial War
  • Only applicable to those that own a territorial or own Ignea.
It's a PVP content that never got updated and is dead.
PVE (Dungeons, Raids & More)
PVE is the main gameplay of Echo of Soul as you can only Obtain your gear through doing PVE. For returning players from classic PVE and PVP were separated into their respectful gears and accessories, however that does not apply here. The gear is now combined into one however there are different types of gears once you start heading into end game which you will reach once you hit Level 96.

What can i Expect from PVE content?
Quite a lot in fact. There is plenty to do but you might have to put a lot of time and effort into this game if you wish to accomplish and experience the game fully. Which includes doing collection.

Here is a list of all the PVE content you can do;

Solo Dungeons

Today's Raid
  • Rotated everyday from Dryad up to Frostcore Ruins.

Nerodin Ruins
  • Opens at Level 85, Required Level 99 or High Attack Power.

  • Gelmir Ruins (86-90)
  • Burning Plains (90-99)

Attack Power
This is a huge impact in Echo of Soul and these Numbers decide if you can enter a dungeon or not. When levelling from 1-70 this will not matter but once you hit Level 70 you want to gain as much attack power as you possibly can.

Where can i find my Attack Power?
I mean if you haven't been paying attention it's in the bottom left corner that says "Attack Power", yup that number is important and something you always have to work on. Why? Well, you can't access higher dungeons or raids without it.

How can i increase my Attack Power?
There are multiple ways to do so and that is mainly being your gear and jewels. These are both the most important items to work on while increasing your attack power and what you should focus on the most, to do so you need run dungeons or raids. What else can increase your attack power? Well, i'll provide a list
  • Collection
  • Stat Potions
  • Soul Stones
  • Support Gear
  • Runic Tablet
  • Insignia of Spiros
  • Awakening skills
  • Magic Avatar Accessories
All of these are explained through the guide on how to get them or find them. Attack Power is also important to know when to open Accessory boxes as higher boxes only give you what your current attack power is, to give a basic judgement on how you know what attack power you need to be in order to get a certain level equipment just take a look at what the recommended attack power is for the dungeon.

So for example, you want the highest accessory which is 295 Rare, you'll need to find the dungeon that drops 295. Now you won't know anything unless you've played through the game and noticed what each dungeon drops, but to make it simpler for you there is a complete guide of this under the Equipment collection, as you will also need all equipment to complete it except 295 gear. So, 295 drops from Asha's Tomb (Hero) which recommends you have 2,041,000, but minimum is 1,855,000. So if you have Anything between those numbers for your attack power you can open an accessory box and be granted with 295. Of course, anything higher will also get you them as currently it is the highest accessory to open from those boxes. These accessory boxes can be obtained through your Arena/Battlefield daily or bought from the Merchant with coins/Badges. The random dungeon merchant provides accessory boxes but they are capped to item level 271.

How do i know if i have the right Attack Power to enter a dungeon?
It's pretty simple. You can either head over to the Party Dungeon NPC or open the Dungeons menu by pressing H and heading over to the middle section that has 2 swords. When you see the dungeons it will display a 'Recommended' Attack Power, but if you hover over the dungeon it will give you the 'Minimum' Attack Power. So if the dungeon says 1,282,000 but you are lower and the dungeon is opened to you, it is because you are at the minimum Attack Power. However any dungeon that is red on your menu is inaccessible to you and you will have to reach the minimum attack power to open it.
Spiros
What is Spirios and where can i find it?
Spiros is a weekly guild activity. You must be part of a guild to participate in this. You can find a Spiros NPC in every town and in Ignea you can find 3 of them marked on the map below. If you head to your weekly mission tab it shows you what you can obtain and you also get a time attack extra reward for complete spiros in a timed manner. You can view this when you talk to the NPC.

Spiros Shop
Here is where you use your Fancy Spirit stones you gain from completing Spiros. If you have completed Spiros for the first time there is 1 item you must buy before anything else and that is the Insignia of Spiros, it is the first item in the shop. Buy it and equip it, if you still had the Mina item it will replace this, delete the Mina item, you no longer need this anymore.

Here is a list of the items and what they are used for:
  • Insignia of Spiros - You only need 1, have one? Ignore buying this any further.
  • Insignia of Spiros Upgrade Ticket - This unlocks the next stage of your Insignia.
  • Shiny Spirit Stones - Gives your Insignia 100 points.
  • Radiant Spirit Stones - Gives your Insignia 1000 points.
  • Accessory Skill Path Scroll - Gives you a random Skill Path Scroll for any class.
  • Accessory Skill Path Remover - Removes the scroll from your Insignia.
  • Golden Shard of Botan - Obtain 35 shards grants you 1 Hammer.
  • Essence of Costume - Upgrades Event Costumes (Never buy this, no longer needed)
  • Spirit Accessory Changing Essence - This is used on old Spiro stones.

How to upgrade Insigina of Spiros

Accessory Skill Path's
Do not waste your stones on buying them from the Spiros shop as they are completely random and you might get something that is not for your class. Instead buy them from the market place, they are cheap enough to buy. You can also find these through Dimensional chests, using premium keys (purple) will obtain Level 3 or 4. You want at least to buy or obtain a level 4.

Which Accessory Skill Path Scrolls do i need for my class?
There is 2 skill path scrolls per class and each give a boost on a skill you currently have, this is why it is important you have the correct Skill Scroll for your class. If you think you have the wrong skill path scroll, no worries, just buy a path remover from the Spiros Shop and use it on your Insignia this will remove it and you can equip another Skill Path Scroll inside.

Here is the entire list in image form of all the skill path scrolls for every class.

What is the best skill path scroll to use for my class?
That depends on you and how you play, but yes there is one specific Skill path scroll every class needs. But again, it is opinion based and i could share which i think is the best but another player could disagree. For example I prefer stone skin on Earthguard whereas other will prefer Solid Ground. Though some skills are obvious than most for example Using Frost Bomb for Icemage, Octave Shift for Bard, Sacred Shelter for Templar etc. If people want to share their personal opinions upon this comments are open, but please be mature and respectful.
Hammer Farming
Dryad is a raid if you wish to gain more gold or gain hammers to increase your stats on your legendary gear. You can also get quite a good amount of Essence of Courage by doing Dryad (Normal). You can also farm other raids but Dryad is the fastest and easiest to do on multiple characters and you can do this once you are level 96 by obtaining Expert gear. And yes, you can do this solo all you need is someone to hold you a raid.

Expert Gear
This gear allows you to break free from roots by using a soul.
You will need a 4 piece set:
  • Applies damage equal to 386% of ATK in a 5m range around you and reduces your ATK and DEF by 10% for 5 seconds. This can be used once every 5 seconds
If you are able to clear dryad quite easily then obtaining Seeking gear and other drop rate items/buffs will obtain you more hammers. With some experimenting if the person holding you raid is also wearing seeking there is a higher chance to obtain more hammers. Inside Dryad you can enhance the boss for more drop rate as well by talking to the Pori.

If you cannot do dryad alone then you can ask people to help you or you can 3 man dryad and share the hammers. As only 2 people get rooted. You can also just tag along with someone if you wish to just get gear from Dryad for extracting.

Skills
If you do not have expert gear and want to use seeking, you can use AOE skills from your class and time when the roots are going to come to get yourself out. Once you get stronger with high attack power you will be able to get through Dryad more easier. For example Stormguard is perfect for dryad as she has many AOE skills. Also having Green Sigil against Dryad is super effective.

Increasing Entry
You have 6 free entries for Dryad but you can have 3 more, all you need is 3 tickets to increase the capacity from 6 to 9. Press ALT + Z for the shortcut and un-check the box in the right corner, scroll down until you find Dryad and press the [+] button to increase your entry shown in the picture. To get more tickets you can buy them everyday from the EXP merchant once a day even on other characters as they are account storage. Log in bonuses give you tickets on day 4/16 and you can also buy them from the cash shop. Doing your Random daily will also grant you x8 tickets everyday.

Other ways to get hammers
There is also the world boss twice a day that will grant you up to x5 hammers with 100% seeking set (refer to world boss section)

Daily quests, there is 3 daily quests that give you hammers by chance which are; Todays Raid, Nerodin Ruins and Daily Quest. There is also Day 9 log in that gives you x5 hammers.

You can by chance get Hammers from Dimensional Chests from the Hammer of Botan Chest.

Weekly Raid Entry reset is at 8am on Wednesday Server Time.
Hidden Challenge Tower
This is a solo dungeon where you can enter only through the Menu by pressing H. You get 1 ticket daily from an NPC called Armalinda, you do 10 floors to complete the daily or do as much as you want. You can get more tickets from the Egg Shop or just opening Dimensional Chests, they drop quite frequently from those.

A few things before you should know before heading into the Hidden Tower. If you start from Floor 1 the boss will be there, however if you start from any other floor you have to wait at least 3 minutes for the boss to appear. Just be patience, it will spawn.

Is Hidden Tower beneficial for me?
Yes and no. It's a mixture of both, what i mean is the only beneficial part of this for everyone is farming potions/scrolls to sell to gain gold. For other reasons like materials, gears etc is not unless you are a new player. Doing Tower daily is important to require an item called Celestial Key and this is the only item to use for your runic tablet (more about that in the Runic Tablet guide)

Hidden Tower Floors and what they drop
They all drop 190 Legendary Linen and Pant Fragments
  • (1-10) > 163 Blue (5) / 169 Purple (10) - Fruit Purree & Obsidian Ornament
  • (11-20) > 169 Blue (15) / 175 Purple (20) - Delicious Rice & Tiger's Ornanment
  • (21-30) > 175 Blue Gear - Custard Dough & Luminite Ornanment
  • (31-40) > 181 Blue Gear - Crepe Dough & Diamond Ornanment
  • (41-50) > 199 Gear Fragments
  • (51-60) > Essence of Softening
  • (61-70) > 223 Gear Fragments
  • (71-80) > Hell Essence
  • (81-90) > 247 Gear Fragments
  • (91-100) > Void Essence
More about this will be documented in the Collection guide

Is there an easier way to get through all 100 floors?
Yes, quite simply put there are items and advantages you can use if you are 'struggling' to get through the floors. Here is a list that can help you proceed further;

Bombs
  • Every floor will have a % to drop pouches, these will give you either 3 types of bombs on all which give a certain % of damage to the boss. Yes the drop inside the pouches are random, so you can either get green, blue or purple rarity of bombs.

Pegasus
  • Every Pegasus will give you a buff only in Tower, this applies to Lower and Upper as well. This grants you a special buff of 'Immunity' for a certain amount of time. However, if an event comes and you get hit there is 90% chance you won't realise you died once you have that buff is gone and if you get hit again you're dead for real and your Tower is over. Un-mounting a Pegasus will damage the boss every time. So it is best to be mounted up before you are waiting for the next boss to spawn.

Scrolls
  • There is a death prevention scroll for Tower and it works just like the immunity buff from the Pegasus, do they stack? No, as far as i am aware they do not. And honestly this scroll is pretty pointless if you have a Pegasus and they aren't common to come across.

Buffs
  • Stack up on buffs before you head in. You can have at least 11 buffs in total that can stack together. Some buffs may have you craft them or obtain them through chests or lamps.

Floor Events
Now every floor will have 2 events, the longer you try to kill a boss the more events will happen during your fight. Some are straight forward to do and some are hectic. If you manage to get the whirlwinds, this is pretty easy, just tilt you camera facing downwards and you will see a pattern, walk through it. If you are quite strong and have decent attack power with buffs and mounts you will skip these events.
Room of Trial Dungeon
Room of Trial Dungeon is open to Level 96 and upwards.
You will need to reach this level in order to find and complete this dungeon.

How do i get to the 'Room of Trial' Dungeon?
If you are at Level 96 you will want to talk to Marie who will provide you with a blue quest you accept and you are received a Room of Trial Ticket. You can find her in Ignea near the stairs of Soulkeeper Anteroom. I have provided a screenshot to the right. Once you have the ticket talk to Marie and choose which difficulty, as a new fresh level 96 you will want to choose Normal.

Inside you are then greeted by a new NPC that you will give your ticket to, then you have 3 options to pick from. Each optional will provide you another difficulty but each one will give you a different amount of coins upon completing 10 floors.

Tip: Bosses will keep spawning. So don't go AFK.

Once you have completed all floors an NPC will show up and you must talk to her before leaving, once you do you will be automatically teleported out and your coins will be sent to your mail box. As you spawn back outside in front of Marie, you can see a mailbox next to them, here you can claim your coins. Now if you do not see your rewards you must file a support ticket from their website as this is a common issue.

You only get 1 ticket per day, however you can buy a Room of Trial buff that gives 1 extra ticket per day, this is a premium item and can only be purchased through the cash shop or claimed through rewards from events. To find this it is located in the Cash Shop under in Special Pack and is on the first page at the bottom middle.

It is a limited item, even though it says per character, this is bound to your characters on the same server. Each day you log in the ticket will be sent to the character you log into first, so be careful if you wish to get your ticket, make sure you are on the character you wish to use this on because you can only use it on the character it is sent to.

Have the coins, but what are they and how can i get more?
You will need to farm days, weeks even months to get the most out of these coins as you are only getting a certain amount of coins per day from doing this. The highest coins you can obtain is 32 and it is only through Hero mode on the Level 3 Difficulty.

Here is a list of how many coins you can get from each difficulty

Where can i spend the coins?
Once you have enough coins you can head to the NPC Located here;

You want to purely focus on the NPC Layla as she will be providing you with the items you need to create runes. As you open up her inventory you will see 2 options, choose the first one. You will see a window pop up and you only want to buy the bottom 2 items, i have provided an image for you to see. Next to it is an image of where you can craft them and how many you need in order to do so.

Anything else you see in these Merchants you don't buy, it is a complete waste. Please only use your coins for these 2 items unless you have full Sigils and have coins you can keep buying these and sell them on the marketplace. The Lamps and Luxury Goods are not worth the coins, because you will not get a costume as the Lamps will also provide utter garbage items and the Unknown Jewel Fragment you get for free from your Arena & Battlefield daily.

Can i get them any faster?
Yes. Now, i did say this will take you months and i am not exaggerating it will. If you would like to skip it you can, you just won't get the extra damage % bonuses from the Sigil. If you have enough gold you can buy them from the marketplace, a lot of people will be selling duplicates and i do recommend you buy them rather than farm them. If you wish to farm them you can do this on multiple characters if they are Level 96 or above, the coins are not account storage, however if you were to buy these items 'Water Droplet of Urd & Water of Fate, they are account storage so you can put them in there to place on your 'main' character to then craft the boxes as you might not have your soul expert level high enough on other characters.

(Refer to Sigil Runes for the full list of 15 runes)

World Boss
The world boss spawns twice a day. Morning and Evening, there is no rotation as it is every 4 days. The times it spawns is Morning 11:00 & Evening 20:00 Server time. There will be a message from :45 which will tell you where the Boss is and it will tell you at :50 and :55.

Here is a list depending on which Boss spawns in the morning;
  • If morning = Snow Country
  • Evening = Orric Ravine

  • If morning = Land of Dreams
  • Evening = Mount Odroerir

  • If morning = Orric Ravine
  • Evening = Snow Country

  • If morning = Mount Odroerir
  • Evening = Land of Dreams

Here is a full list of the world bosses and the days in the month, credit to a player for making this.

To get to these you must have either the teleporter open or buy a instant teleport from the egg shop for 100 golden eggs, this will let you spawn exactly where the Boss will be. But for those that don't want to spend eggs and have all the warp stations open i will provde images showing where to go for each Boss.

Snow Country

Orric Ravine

Land Of Dreams

Mount Odroerir

There are 2 bosses in 1 sessions, meaning that the first boss will automatically die after 10 minutes from the first hit and the 2nd boss will spawn and everyone must kill this in order for it to die. Each boss will drop something different.

First boss 10 minutes
This boss will drop x1 Red Moonstone x1 Asgardian Ore x1 Hammer of Botan x1 Boss Fragment
Now you can increase this by wearing full seeking to get the highest drop of x4 each.

Second Boss
Drops 295 Legendary Accessory Fragments.
Now a lot of people will just immediately leave when this guy spawns as nobody needs it and will leave people that do to kill it so it may take you a long time to kill this or if you are on a channel with less people. (if you leave you will still get the drops)

Now there is a chance to get 2 channels, which means that you can get these bosses twice, mostly only happens in the evening. You will notice people typing in the chat + no (name) this means they want to be invited to a channel that doesn't have the aggro of the name they said. If you perhaps get invited, immediately try to leave the party do this by waiting a few moments and leave and then proceed to hit the 'new' boss, this is because sometimes it might not give you a rewards if you are in the party.

Equipment Level 96+
Once you have reached Level 96 you can now gain and equip Level 96-99 Gear. You may have already gained some of these equipment boxes from Dimensional Chests, if you did and you kept them, great! You can open these and start equipping them.

Are these Equipment different from what i was already wearing?
Yes, there is a lot of Equipment when reaching Level 96 and by a lot i mean it. All Equipment have different Bonuses and if you want to max out the potential of them you need to be equipping the correct gears. You will find all these equipment further down the guide.

So what Equipment should i be looking for and what should i Equip?
Of course you want to be looking at the highest gear you can equip, but unfortunately it's not that easy, you must be at a required Attack Power to enter dungeons for Specific Equipment Levels or gain them through rewards. As soon as you Reach Level 96 you can start Equipping any Gear you can, if you have 295/307, Equip it it is the highest you can obtain that doesn't include Legendary Equipment. If it is lower, you can still Equip it however as stated above you need the Bonuses.

What are the bonuses and why are they important?
For every Level of gear they are specifically named and give different bonuses, these bonuses are called "Sets". They are important if you want to max out your damage, you want to give support or you need bonuses to help you gain things quicker. Seems confusing, but will be explained further down below.

I see blue, purple and orange gears. What is the difference?
The difference is that each colour of gear gives higher stats once upgraded. You will always start from Blue(Rare), gather resources and upgrade to Purple(Epic). Legendary Equipment is obtained by completing Raids with a chance that the last boss drops and it isn't personal loot. However, after 271 Level Legendary, your new purple gear of Level 307 can be upgraded into Legendary. You can obtain the resources for this via Dungeons, Daily Missions and sometimes Events.
Equipment Sets
Here are all the Equipment sets and what you need to equip and keep. Every time you open a piece of gear always check your collection in case you need to register it before you Extract it or destroy it yourself. Press ALt + N to see what gears you are missing it will be highlighted in the collection, if you don't see it highlight you don't need it. (Refer to Collection System to learn more)

Chaotic(199) & Hell (223) Equipment Sets
Now you don't want to stick to 199, if you have 223, you want to equip these Levels first. These equipment can only be upgraded if you wish to obtain the Ascended version for collection, or you buy them with Diamonds. The only other way to get the ascended versions of the gear is through Dimensional chests by chance. I do not recommend you upgrade any gear until you reach the highest because it will be a waste of time and resources. As there is 1 resource which takes a lot of gold or weeks grinding. If you have Diamonds go ahead and buy them from the shop, otherwise leave this out from your collection.

Here is a full guide and list of all the 199/211 & 223/235 Sets

Even though you have Chaotic and Hell Equipment, it is preferred if you can obtain the Equipment below as these are the Equipment you want the most on your character to gain more attack power to obtain 295 from Dungeons, which at the moment is the end game Equipment.

Void(247), Destructive(271) & Conqueror's(295) Equipment Sets
Here is a full list of all the sets for 247 & 271 Sets 295 are the exact same as below too.
All damage dealers will need 6 Piece Storm set, other 2 pieces can be random or 2 Piece Luminous. Tanks will need either Luminous, Seeking or Storm.

Are there any gears i should keep?
Yes. There are some gears which you won't need to equip full time but equip when it's necessary.
Here is an image showing you which gears you should have in your bags

  • Luck set is optional now because of seeking, however if you are running dungeons or raids, tanks are usually the ones with the luck set. It will increase the parties drop rate by 100%
  • Seeking is for everyone, it provides you 100% drop bonus and it is personal drop.
  • Mythical everyone needs 2 pieces, this charges your Deification Wings outside of battle.
  • Rebuild optional, this will resets your souls after attacking a monster.

Now if you wish to do PVP there are 2 pieces you can keep as well and that is 2 Piece of Recon or 2 Piece of Vanguard. Recon gives you a bonus of 20% PVP Defence and Vanguard gives you a bonus of 20% PVP Piercing. Will only work in Valhalla and Arena, Set bonus don't work in Battlefield.
Accessory Sets
There are 3 types of accessory sets within the game those being;
Placid, Privileged and Divine. Each one works best for certain classes. For example Placid works well for Tanks, Privileged for damage dealers and divine for support. You want to make sure you have a full set, don't mix and match these as you want the best outcome from what they provide for you in combat.

Here is an image of all the sets;
Where can i find Accessories?
There is numerous ways to obtain them, however the best way is through PVP Battlefield or Arena. You can also get them from Mark of the Adventure coins however these are not updated for the highest accessories as of now. There are some accessory boxes that require you to open them which relies solely on your attack power, the higher your attack power the higher the level of accessory you get.

Legendary Accessories
At the moment the highest is 319 (Conqueror). If you have the gold to buy these, do so and use a few hammers on them to gain purple/orange stats. You can also acquire these from events as well as legendary gears. When an event pops up and these are in the NPC shop, farm to buy them. The only way legendary accessories drop outside of events is the world boss, and you need 1000 fragments for each piece but these are 295 and are outdated. Only way to get 319 is from The new Raid 'Ungoliant's Cave'.
Equipment Upgrading
First of all you will need to find the equipment for you to upgrade.

Where can i find gears?
You can find gears in the designated dungeon or you can buy them at the Equipment Merchant located in clockwork. For this you will need Essences that is the same level as the equipment and you can buy x5 per x1 essence so each day you can obtain 2 boxes as it is x10 to create 1 box of gear. Depending on your attack power you can receive an essence equivalent to that by getting them you can obtain them through doing random dungeons or Today's Raid you can also get them in Dimensional Chests and other means.

This is the same merchant you can upgrade your blue gears into purple by using the essence and blue moonstones. You can either buy these moonstones from the NPC or farm them in Arena of Ordeal.

How to upgrade and what materials you need
First of all you will need 295 gear as this is end game gear (until updated) and you don't want to waste materials on upgrading lower gear. Once you have them you will need to upgrade this into purple and you will need 150 of the Conqueror Essence and 220 Blue Moonstone in order to upgrade. As stated above you can buy these Moonstones from the NPC or farm them in Arena of Ordeal which is noted at the bottom of this section. To get more Conqueror Essence you will get them from Asha's Tomb (Hero) Dungeon on last boss, Random Dungeon/Today's Raid daily and every day you will get x1 of each for completing 100 points and x5 for completing 500 points for weekly.

In order to upgrade you will have to un equip your gear and remove your Jewel, open the menu from the NPC and right click your items inside and click upgrade. Now with 307 gears you can now upgrade these to legendary gears, for this you will need to farm your daily and weekly missions as you will need 100 Red Moonstone and 65 Inherited Conqueror Essence. You get x1 of each per day and x10 each per week. You can get more of these from the 2023 Lamps or Boxes from the Cash Shop.

Upgrading Magic Costumes
First of all you will need to open a Magic Costume Box or buy the parts on the marketplace, they are pretty cheap to buy. But for each part you will have to search their name to find them. Once you have all 5 you can upgrade them from 121 to 133, however these are the most expensive equipment to upgrade. Not only do you need 100 Blue Moonstones that cos you 299 gold each but you also have to have 100 Mystical Magic Shape which cost 6,500 gold each. So for each magic costume it will cost you 679,900 gold, which in total of all which calculate to 3,399,500 Million gold. Which .. yes, is a lot. However if you have the Weapon of light this replaces the Weapon Magic costume, but you will still to upgrade it.

Just a note. If you are seeing people with Purple Magic Costumes these are only from cash Lamps. You cannot upgrade your current ones to these.

Arena of Ordeal
There are 5 Ordeal Dungeons and to easy farm moonstones it is best to only do 1,2,3 unless you have a strong party for 4 and 5. You will need to find a party of 5 to enter. Once inside with your party you will active the boss spawn via the NPC, these dungeons have 4 bosses, which is 2 per floor. Once the bosses die a chest will spawn and 1 person can change to Luck set while others can change to Seeking to fully max out the potential drop rate. Once the chest has been opened a few moments later the next 2 bosses will spawn so it is best to move away from the centre.

Each Ordeal will not only give you moonstones but also the gear essence and sometimes as a rare drop which is an Epic Equipment box. For example..
  • Ordeal 1 - Essence of Softening, 211 Gear Box, Moonstones
  • Ordeal 2 - Hell Essence, 235 Gear Box, Moonstones
  • Ordeal 3 - Void Essence, 259 Gear Box, Moonstones
  • Ordeal 4 - Destructive Essence, 283 Gear Box, Moonstones
  • Ordeal 5 - Conqueror Essence, 307 Gear Box, Moonstones
Legendary Gear for Einherjar's (Updated)
As updated since 21st March 2024 (Einherjar's) gears are the highest Legendary being 331. To obtain Legendary gear you have to do Raids and the gear has a chance to drop from the last boss of the Raid. However, this is not the case for 331 as to obtain this level of Legendary gear all you need is 307 Rare gear, upgrade that to 319 Epic and then upgrade to 331. In order to do this you will need quite a few materials and these come doing your daily and weekly missions as well as doing the new Dungeon/Raid (More about this at the bottom)

You will need to reach 100 points daily and 500 weekly.
(To find the rest of the legendary gear, you can refer to the Equipment Collection)

How to get Einherjar's Weapon
This weapon is very good as it provides you with 2 buffs being 10% boss damage and 10% Boss Reduction Damage. First of all you will need your Attack Power to be at least 2,355,000 to enter. Once you have this attack power you can find a party and run a Dungeon called Fellglow Spire (Legend) this dungeon will provide you with the chance to drop an essence from each boss. You will only need 30 of these to get the weapon, however this weapon is rare and you will need another type of essence to upgrade it to epic and these only drop from the last boss and there is a possibility you don't drop anything, you will need 150 of these. To upgrade it to legendary you will need the essence from the daily/weekly mission and you only need 120 Red Moonstone and 65 Inherited Conqueror Essence.

(You can now also farm this weapon in the Level 99 Burning Plains Dimension.)

Updated: You can Get the weapon randomly by opening 319 boxes from Iron Fire Zone 1 & 2.

Increasing your stats on Legendary Gear
For legendary gear you can re-roll you stats up to 999 times, however you won't need to do that many re-rolls, the max you will most likely do is 500-600. To re-roll you will need an item called Golden Hammer of Botan, you can easily farm these in raids, specifically Dryad or buy from the marketplace. You can also get hammers many other ways including Tower Challenge, Lamps & Daily missions.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to use the Hammer on Legendary gears;
You first need to appraise your legendary gear/accessory and right click on the hammer to use it upon the gear. When you do a window will show up with the 0/999 appraisal limit and a bonus rate. The more you use hammer the more the bonus rate will increase which then gives you higher stats shown on the 'after'. When you run out of hammers and aren't happy with the outcome, press cancel. You will still keep the bonus rate until next time. The bonus rate only disappears if you click confirm. Only click confirm if you are happy with the 'after' stats.

Einherjar Armor Set

New content for gear 307 Blue > 319 Purple > 331 Legendary
Legend difficulty has been introduced to the party dungeon "Shadowflame Mine" and raid dungeon "Ironfire Mountain Zone 1 and zone 2" Hero. The minimum Attack Power requirement for both dungeons is 2,800,000

The current sets are the same however they have been altered. Here is the before and after;

Fenrir Coin Dungeons
Temple of Cernunnos (Legend)
New Difficulty as of June 20th.
- Easier Dungeon to complete for Fenrir Coins

Blazing Peek of Dreams (Hero)
New Difficulty as of August 14th
- Harder to complete for Fenrir Coins

These dungeons requires 5 players with 3 million attack power or above to enter. This dungeon does not provide gear, however Soulkeepers will acquire [Fenrir Coin] upon slaying bosses in this dungeon.
These coins can be spent in the shop for collection rewards.

Shop location;
The shop is located in the same place as the Trial Coins and provides you with Rare and Epic accessory fragments for your collection system.

That's all there is to it. If they update the shop in the future it'll be on patch notes.

Collection System
What is it?
The collection system is a big part of the game, it requires you to collect items in the game to register for stats on your character. Unfortunately the collection system is character locked, so it is best to pick your main character and stick with it.

What do i need to do in order to collect?
Play the game. Just as simple as that. A lot of the collection is easily acquired just by playing the game. If you are unsure on how to gain specific items for this system there are many sections just below for you to skim through and see what you are missing or need to collect in order to complete it. However, this system will take you a long time to fully complete, even players who have played this game since the system came to us don't have 100%.

Where can i find this 'Collection'?
When in game press Alt + n for the window to pop up. The first thing you will see is your total collection % for everything you have. At the top you will see tabs just like this

And every other tab has it's own category of what to collect.

Here is a run down of what they are
Equipment:
Rare, Epic, Legendary Equipment
Avatar - Cosmetics (Outfits)

Item:
Normal - Equipment Fragments
Jewels - Royal Jewels
Soul Stones - Good, Rare, Epic
God Stones - Good, Rare, Epic
Profession - Chef Crafting

Pet&Mount:
Mounts - All mounts count, except event
Pets - Not all pets count, only a certain number.

Monsters:
Normal - Area bosses
Boss - Dungeons and Raids
Special - World Bosses

Event:
No longer applicable

Now that you know the basics of what the collection is we can go over the entire collection system to help you further in what you need to do in order to complete it. However some items are no longer available or really hard to obtain. But as a new player you can at least get to 50% quite easily with a bit of time.
Equipment Collection
This part of the collection is to obtain gear from dungeons and raids as well as costumes. There is Rare, Epic and Legendary Gear and Avatar is your Costumes (cosmetics).

Everything you put into this section will be removed from your inventory, meaning it will be gone forever, so if you want to keep certain pieces make sure not to claim it in this section unless you have another piece aka any mythical part you have.

Rare, Epic & Legendary
As you can see in the image below, having this collection will increase your attack/defense stat.

Each boss in a raid or dungeon will drop different pieces of gear. So for example, if you are missing a Helmet for 133 equipment you will have to kill the right boss in order for it to drop and for party dungeon it's always the last boss and it's by chance. Here is a table showing which pieces drop on bosses and also the table showing you the Equipment Level for each dungeon. As of right now 295 equipment isn't in the collection system so that is not documented on the table.

You may have to run them multiple times to get the full set as each boss has a chance to drop. As an example the first boss could drop 2 Linen and no Pants so this means you will have to run the dungeon again. To increase your drop chances it is recommended to wear Seeking (if you can), soul share drop rate (Guardian), Soulstone and godstones. Anything to increase your drop chance will work. You can enter Party Dungeons alone, just head to the NPC and find the dungeon you need.

The rare equipment can be easily obtained, however the Epic gear can be a bit much more difficult as some are upgraded versions of the Rare ones. For example 211 and 235 which can only be acquired by upgrading 199 and 223 gears, no raid drops these.

Legendary Equipment
These are quite a bit difficult to obtain unless you run raids in hope they drop or you buy them from the marketplace. However, the lower Legendary Gear is much more easier to obtain and there are ways to get them all with a bit of patience and grind. Or.. if they are on the marketplace, then definitely buy them from there. But i will explain the ways to get them if you enjoy the 'farming' aspects of MMOs.

Weapons & Chest
They are under yellow quests when entering raids. Make sure to always accept the quest when entering if you need the collection. You get x17 of either Weapon or Chest, yes it's random. However you can convert them via the General Merchant.
  • Dryad & Khranhiem Zone 1- 130
  • Frostcore Ruins & Kranhiem Zone 2 - 145
  • Frostcore Ruins (Hero) & Fallen Tower 1 - 160
  • Fallen Tower Zone 2 - 175
  • Dark Citadel & Iron Fire - 190
Image on the right to give example.

Linen & Pants
They are from Challenge Tower, as you know you can get 1 ticket for daily every day but you can get more via the dimensional chests, very common.
  • Lower - Floor 1-30 > 130
  • Lower - Floor 31-50 > 145
  • Upper - Floor 51-80 > 160
  • Upper - Floor 81-100 > 175
  • Hidden - All Floors > 190
Image on the right to give example.

Gloves & Shoes
From Adventurer NPC with the coins you get from Randoms. You can buy the boxes here and yes they are random you will receive x10 either of shoe or glove fragment. You can convert your extras at the general merchant.

Helmet & Belt
Wednesday 20:00-23:00
Sat and Sun 19:00-22:00 ST
  • Farm Largest Thicket or Bragos Ruins for 130
  • Farm Land of Dreams for 145
  • Farm Hidden Cover for 160
  • Farm Mount Ordreil & Gelmir Ruins for 175
  • Farm Burning Plains for 190
Image on the right to give example.

Every Raid has a chance to drop a piece of gear on the last boss. So you may get for example a glove box when completing Dryad, this will save you time grinding the glove fragments.

Accessories
There are a few ways to get accessories. For 247/271 collection you will have to do the world boss and convert the accessory fragments via the Merchant or buy them from the marketplace. 295 are the current fragments from the world boss. You will need 1000 fragments to make 295. 319 does not have a collection.

Battlefield Badges
There was an event that happened not too long ago and now it became permanent. It is where you can now purchase accessories by the level instead of adjusting your attack power to open boxes from the battlefield and arena merchants. Do not use those merchants if you are wanting collection only. There is an NPC in the Battlefield area in Ignea called Huggin. He will also trade your badges for the Legendary Accessories which are 145, 160, 175 however you will have to get the 130 from the Lvl70, 72, 74 boxes in order to gain those and it is a low chance but not impossible.

Golden Chalice Item
To get 190 accessories if they are not on the marketplace you can get them from the battlefield merchant. To get the chalice you do have to participate in Battlefield or Arena.

Marketplace
Yes you can buy accessories here, this is usually a lot quicker due to battlefield not being too active for you to spam for badges. How this works is that you can filter on the side of the marketplace with Accessory and search through here, you may want to hover over some to see the level rather than the name as some accessories don't match the name in the collection system. There is also no easy way to search for these unless you type the full name. Now for these you do not need unseals once you purchase it. Press Alt + N and scroll to where the accessories show and register it.

Adventurer Coins
Now this is not the greatest way to get any of the accessories so i will say to never buy them from here as they also don't have it updated to the current Accessory Level for 295. Avoid for now. Unless you have coins to spend. But you have to match the attack power in order to get the Accessory Level you need.

Avatar
Pretty self explanatory, get a costume or weapon skin and equip it. Doesn't matter what colour it is. It will not destroy them if you register them in the collection like the equipment does. Once equipped you can destroy them yourself (if wanting more storage space) you keep them saved in your Avatar Info. You can check out all the outfits and how to obtain them in the 'Outfits' section near the bottom of this guide.
Item Collection
In this part of the collection there are quite a few different 'Item' tabs which are;
  • Normal
  • Jewel
  • Soul Stone
  • God Stone
  • Profession
So lets go through them 1 by 1.

Normal
This part is from extracting gears. Never destroy or sell gears as you will need these for this part of the collection. The max gears for extracting is 187, these will only be valid to extract. How to extract? It's simple, Press J and find the soul expert and use Item Extraction on the gears. You may have to run quite a few dungeons or raids in order to get a lot of fragments from gears. You can repeat this collection as many times as you want to get the stats you feel satisfied with as the stats you get are random.

So for example you have exactly 200 fragments to put into collection for 103, you open your collection (ALT + N) and head to Item, it will be highlighted for you. Click to register the fragments and it will show you on the side what stats can be applied. For Dungeon fragments you have a max of 2 stats and with Raid Fragments you have a max of 3 stats. So if you are a damage dealer you want to focus ATK/HP or ATK/DEF. Tank will focus HP/DEF. Crit EVA is not really needed. The raid fragments you want to focus mainly crit/piercing. There is a chance you will only gain 1 stat rather than 2. Yup, this system is a random roll and requires you to grind and grind until you are satisfied with the stats.

For dungeons it's a bit harder, but for raids is a bit easier as you can use the 'Wonder' to increase the drop of gears from the bosses. Though do remember there is a weekly limit of how many raids you can do. You can increase the limit with Dungeon Tickets. Dungeons are limited by 3 entries per day.

Jewel
Pretty straight forward and quite easy to do. Go to the Jeweller and buy all the +1 Royals and register them. Do not buy the crafted sapphire/Amethyst, buy all Royals only. Buy again and enhance them to +10, this you will have to do yourself as you cannot buy these. To enhance these use Minor Enhancement stones until +9 then use Enhancement Stones for +10. Now if you have a lot of Enhancement stones you can just auto enhance to +15 or you can buy +15 from the marketplace. As far as i know these use to be super easy to enhance, but as the research i have gathered it seems that it has become more difficult to enhance Royals without the server buff. You can buy Minor enhancement stones from the Jeweller, Marketplace or Dryad.

There are many ways to get Enhancement stones without spending gold, here is how;
  • Valhalla - Farm Essences inside
  • Tower of Challenge - Package of Challenge
  • Dimensional Chests - Open with Keys from general Merchant
  • Dimensional Warp Level 85 - Bosses (Best dropped with Seeking)

Soul Stones
After recent updates, obtaining the old soulstones is much easier. All you need is refined Yggdrasil Essence, head over to ShuShu that can be found in the Clockwork area of Ignea and buy the 3 recipes. With these you open the box and head into your collection system where you can register them all.

Soul Streams
For the soul streams, they can be obtained but easier to buy from the marketplace. In the image to the right you will notice there is a Radiant box and a Brilliant box. The Heroic box can only be dropped by chance on the bosses and the Rare can be dropped from the monsters. If you are doing the bosses in a party it is best to have the loot on allocation so the person who needs the box can take it without having to rely on dice. Also, the 'event' ones won't count towards this. Refer to the Nerodin Guide for the bosses.

God Stones
These aren't too hard to complete but it does require you to farm dailies in order to obtain the boxes. Once you have completed the green god stones, you can extract the rest into dust and buy higher graded boxes to complete the blue and purple rarity of the god stones. You can understand more about these in the main guide for God Stones.

Profession
Make sure you have bought all the recipes from the Chef as this is mostly to do with your Chef profession. Now some are done by crafting and some are done by drop.

Here is an image showing you everything you need in order to craft through the collection and where to find them; You can find the lower items in the over world too but doing the dungeons is just faster to farm them. You might of gotten some of the items from levelling up to 70 and you can buy them from the marketplace if they are listed there.

The rest of the profession is to collect the drop. Meaning that once it drops, it is automatically registered. Here is an image to help you find the locations of those items;

You cannot buy them, you have to farm these. So keep farming in the areas until your collection is complete. Use item drop rate chances to increase the drop.
Pet & Mount Collection
This collection has become more easier over the years all thanks to a certain NPC that will give you lamps for a sum of gold. Or you can buy them from the marketplace.. either is the only option.

Miss Scotch
This lovely Lady has appeared a lot of times in my guide and that is because she is too darn beautiful and gives us what we need, all you have to do is spend your gold for a bit of gambling. She will provide you with 2 sets of lamps for Mount and Pet.

Now a lot of mounts can be purchased from the marketplace for very cheap. Or you can gamble the Golden lamps for the harder mounts that sell for a lot. Everything under the Mount Lamp ll can be purchased from the marketplace pretty cheap. I don't think i listed everything, however all Swift mounts and Rarer mounts are found in the Mount Lamp l.

The Pet collection, as you see in the image, all pets except for Yaru and Corgi can be purchased from the Pet Box, only Yaru and Corgi can be gained from the Lamp only.
Monster Collection
There is a total of 3 types of monster collections Normal, Boss and Special. All of which require you to slain a boss to drop their core, however all bosses have a low chance to drop so in order to increase said chance use Item drop chances or wait for an 100% server buff Item Drop as you will be lucky to get 3-4 cores.

Normal monster
These are what we call 'Area' Bosses. These bosses are what spawn in the over world of EoS and they have a time frame between 10 mins up to 40 mins spawn time. Meaning, yes you have to AFK for these or come back to the map every so often to see if you monster is there.

To make it a lot easier on where to find them all i made some screenshots;

When you teleport to the area and you open your map you will see a boss icon, if you don't he hasn't spawned therefore you can move to another location for a different boss and repeat this if you wish not to AFK for them. If the boss has spawned and you open your map you will see something like this;

Boss Monster
These cores are all located inside Dungeons and Raids. For dungeons they drop on the last boss only and for raids it is all bosses. You can use the wonder in raids to increase your chance as well as wearing all item Drop chance items/gears. For these you can also buy and sell them on the marketplace.

Here is a table of all the cores;
Some dungeons have a (hero) mode on which you can also try to get the core to drop within as well.

Special Monster
These are from the World Boss. You obtain 4 different boss fragments, each boss dropping a different one and you need 100 of each to register. The stats apply just like the gear fragments, it is random and the max stats you can obtain is 3.

These are what the fragments look like

  • Blue - Snow Country
  • Green - Land of Dreams
  • Red - Mount Oderorir
  • Yellow - Orric Ravine
You can refer to the World Boss guide if you want to know more.
Pet Stones
There are quite a few pet stones in the game with different rarities. You want to find the highest type of pet stones, if you see any others do not use them they are old pet stones and these are the updated versions and are better to use.

Here is an image to show you which pet stones you should be using;

Where can i find pet stones?
Pet trader or Marketplace. The best thing to do is buy them from the marketplace, however you can obtain yourself but it is by chance and you will also gain the old pet stones which are not great anymore. However i can give a tutorial on how to gain the pet stones yourself.

Pet Coins
First you will need these.

There are 4 types of coins; Good, Rare, Epic and Legendary.

For these you will need to head to the Pet Trader located in Ignea;
Here she will provide you to buy pet stones or convert your coins. First of all you will need 50 Legendary coins to buy the highest pet stones. So if you have quite a few Legendary pet coins go ahead and buy the Pet stone Pouch. If you do not then you can convert any of the lower ones into the Legendary.

Converting Coins
If you perhaps have a lot of good or rare coins, you can convert these at the trader. Click the option Pet coin Exchange, here you will see that it will cost you 15 good coins for 10 Rare coins. If you accidentally convert anything you don't need that is not a problem as by the side you can see that you can convert them back with the boxes.

How to get more coins
They only drop from Dimensional Chests, however you can easily get more by buying pet stones from the marketplace. Yes, as these are super cheap (imidoom marketplace) you can bulk buy the pets/stones from here. Once you have bought them head back to the trader and buy the conversion scroll, using this on them will convert them into coins.

Here is the list of what they will give;
  • Pet without stone = 10 Good Pet Coin
  • Good Pet Stone = 10 Rare Pet Coin
  • Rare Pet Stone = 10 Epic Pet Coin
  • Epic Pet Stone = 10 Legendary Pet Coin
  • Legendary Pet Stone = 35 Legendary Pet Coin

Now if you buy a pet with a stone inside of it, if you use the scroll on it it will give you +10 each of Good and what the pet stone inside is. So for example, you have a pet that has a rare (blue) pet stone inside if you convert it it will give you the following 10 Good Pet Coin + 10 Epic Pet Coin.

You can also convert pets that you have already used. So if you go to Ctrl + T, you will see your list of pets. Now if you have done collection and no longer want these pets you can right click and convert them. You will need to enter their name and you will receive coins back. It doesn't matter if the pet is expired or not, you can still convert them without using an hourglass. If the pets have no stones in them they will always give +10 Good Pet Coins.

Levelling Pets
This is quite easy, just having your pet out will gain experience, however it can only gain a certain amount of Experience per day, i think that being only 1000 points. You can increase this buy buying Pet Food from the Pet trade NPC and feeding your pet to level it. Why is levelling it important? Well, in order for you to add stats to your pet which will be applied to your character when the pet is summoned you will need to level it in order to unlock them. Level 25 is the max your pet can go.

Granting Talents
To grant talents to your pet, which are additional stats you will need Pet Dice and Blessed Talent. Once you have levelled up your pet you will be able to grant your pet talents, by doing this you can click on the arrows and a menu will pop up, this is exactly the same system on how Legendary gear works with using hammers. However this is by using 2 items and you will need more than 1 every time you want to grant a talent. You can find these items in the Pet Lamps only or buy from the Marketplace.

Removing Pet Stones
If you have a pet with a stone inlayed into it and you want to keep the pet because maybe it has stats on it and it is a high level. You will need Pet Removal Tickets, and these are not easy to come by as far as i know they only drop in pet lamps which you can buy from Miss Scotch or the Cash Shop. You can buy these from the marketplace as well but they will not be cheap because you need more than 1 to remove your stone.
  • Epic stone = 3 Pet Stone Removal Ticket
  • Legendary = 5 Pet Stone Removal Ticket
When you have the scrolls, open up your Pet window and click on your pet, you will see a stone inlayed, right click the scrolls and use them on the stone, these messages will show up;
Oh and your Pet has to be alive, meaning if it has 'expired' you will need to use an hourglass on the pet in order for you to remove the stone.
Mounts with Buffs
Within the game there have been quite a few mounts that provide a majority of buffs to your character. Some are party and some are solo, these can either be minor or a huge help for you. Non of these mounts can be used in Arena and don't work in Battlefield, but can be used elsewhere in Echo of Soul.

Here is a full list of what type of mounts you will expect with buffs
  • [Swift] Mounts
These mounts provide only a move speed buff to yourself while riding or dismounting. There are quite a few of these, you can obtain the normal mount or the Swift mount version. You can gain these either from Lamps, Dimensional Chests or even from the Marketplace. Some of these Swift mounts will count towards your collection.

Here is an example:

Now some [Swift] mounts won't just give you the extra movement speed but will also provide you with an extra buff like attack, defense, attack speed, damage..etc.

Here is a list of all the different [Swift] Mounts that provide the best experience in dealing extra damage.

The Quilins
These Quilins provide a different buff for each Demonic and Sun, however the Moon Quilin provides all the buffs in one as well a an extra attack called 'Lunatic Claw' Which every 2 seconds for 15 seconds you gain extra damage. You also don't need to replace this with a Pegasus as the Quilin has no cool down for dismounting.

The Dragons
You also have the Flame and the Sea Dragon which do the same thing as the Demonic and Sun Quilins. This mount is a huge help, However the Pegasus I doesn't have a cool down from dismounting whereas the Golden Dragon itself does for 15 seconds. So it is best to obtain the Pegasus I.

The Pandas
These can be a bit tricky to understand and there will be an image further down to show you how to use the Jiangxi panda as the Cook and Red Panda aren't great on their own. But what the panda lets you do is stack what we call the 'Quasar' Soul which is activated by the buff called [Dormant Soul] doing this lets you gain a massive increase of damage depending on the soul you use last.

So for example using the following soul last gives you;
  • 1. Quasar of Courage +12% ATK, +8% Piercing and PvP Piercing
  • 2. Quasar of Hope +28% CRIT ACC, +10% ATK SPD
  • 3. Quasar of Purity +25% DEF and PvP DEF, +10% Move SPD, -10% Damage Taken
  • 4. Quasar of Peace +11% Max HP, Recovers up to 0.8% of Max Hp every second
And when you use it correctly you will see wings bigger and brighter in the colour you used last. It is recommended you obtain the Jiangxi in Pegasus form as there can be a bug when using the original Jiangxi Panda. You must first mount the panda and then dismount for the buff to activate, once you have proceed to use your first soul, you might want to wait for some time before you use the other. You want to time it correctly so you can perform a 2nd Quasar during battle.

If you use 2 souls to get 2 stacks, if you change your skill path it will reset. So be careful.

Before you go ahead and buy just 'most powerful one' such as Moon Quilin, Golden Dragon or Jiangxi Panda, buy the others first and get those for free through an achievement as you'll need them all for your collection anyway. The free mount will appear in your mailbox as a reward.

As there are many [Swift] mounts there are some others that provide other buffs, however you can find these through the Pegasus's Mounts which are either Named in Purple or Orange. These Pegasus's are also good for Tower Challenge. You can find these again in Lamps, Dimensional Chests or the Marketplace.

So which mounts should i prioritise to buy first?
There are 4 mounts in which you need in order to help you gain a bigger and better burst in raids or dungeons for bosses. You can have 5 which also includes the Tyrannus, however this is a party buff so anyone in your party that has this only needs to mount, everyone else doesn't need to.

What to buy First:
  • Jiangxi Panda / Pegasus IV
  • Moon Quilin / Pegasus III
  • Golden Dragon / Pegasus I (unless tank, then second)
  • Cogbot / Pegasus II last

Mount Rotation for DPS:
Panda > 3 Stack Quasar > Dragon > Quilin > Cogbot > 4th stack quasar
Mount Rotation for Tank:
Panda > 3 stack quasar > Quilin > Dragon > Cogbot > 4th stack quasar
Outfits/Costumes - How to Obtain
As you enter the game you can obtain 3 day Costumes for you to 'try' out but it's limited as you only obtain maybe 2-3 during level up. How many costumes is there? 26 in total. Yup, that many. Are they Free? Yes and no. Yes meaning you can get them without using real money and no meaning you still have to pay for them with in-game currency be it Gold or Eggs. Now costumes aren't the only type of Vanity you can wear, as there are full costumes there are also back pieces, head accessories, face accessories and Weapon Skins. Now a lot of the cosmetics can only be obtain through Events, some are no longer accessible due to this.

How can I Obtain Costumes?
As i mentioned above you can easily get costumes through in-game currency either from the Marketplace or the Cash Shop. Now when i say cash shop i don't mean you need to empty your wallet for them like you do in a lot of other games, no, you can buy costumes monthly through the Golden Egg Section of the Shop. Okay, so maybe i lied, you can buy costumes with real money but you don't need to as all costumes will be available through the marketplace. Every month a costume or 2 will be rotated in the shop.

Here is an example: You have Golden Egg Shop and Featured.

With this you can buy outfits, for golden eggs all you need to do in order to obtain these is do daily missions and yes you can farm them on other characters you have, the eggs will stack in your overall account on that server.

You said i can buy them from the Marketplace?
Yes, you can with in-game currency called 'Gold', to obtain gold you need to either sell things on the marketplace or farm items to sell to the general merchant.

In order to find the costumes in the marketplace you must put in the full name of the costume/outfit or random box. The marketplace has to be specific for these, it's a pain but if you know the name of the outfit or box you can easily search them. However if the outfit it broken up into pieces you can find them under the 'armour' section.

So there are many ways to search for an outfit, however some can be shortened but some require the full name, i will provide some specific searches in order to help you find them as some will be cheaper than others even if it being the same outfit.

How to search through Armor
You can filter outfits and accessories just by selecting the 'armor' in the marketplace, so if you have pieces of a costumes but missing the rest you can locate them here. You will see 'Accessories, Head, Face and Outfit' Find your class and filter here. You can preview these outfits just by clicking on them and a separate window to the right side of the marketplace will appear and you can rotate your character to view the pieces. You can also move this window around if you wish.

Search for Outfit Box
There isn't many but you can search outfit box and find some here if they have been opened from the random costume box's. But summer outfit can only be found through this as you can see from the picture and i do believe there is a few more but not many, however opened random box outfits will show up here as well.

Search for Costume Random Box:
Here is a full list of the boxes-

Weapon skins
They can only by obtain through Specific Lamps or events.
Outfit/Costumes - Females
There are 26 different outfits that can be obtained through the game and you are required to get the all if you wish to complete your 'Avatar' collection. There are 3 colour variants to every outfit, some are different than others on classes but i will only provide 1 colour variant as it took a very long time to put these together for 1 variant. You will see exactly how the outfit will look like regardless of the colour variant but i will state what colours can be obtained for each character as a lot have the same such as 'White, Black' but the 3rd colour will be different for all or the same.

I have sectioned them into Female and Male and are in Alphabetical order.

In-Game Achievements
Throughout the game you will unlock achievements just by playing but you will also need to do some achievement (optional) if you want something to do or get some titles. To open your achievements menu press N. Now there are server firsts on which would have already been obtained years back. But there are a lot of achievements you can do by yourself or with others. I will only post Achievement you have to find in order to complete as a lot of achievement you can get just by playing the game.

Adventure

Monster Part 1;
You can find the location of these under 'Monster Collection'.

Monster Part 2
For this you will need to kill the dimensional bosses. (Twisted doesn't exist anymore)

There is 4 in total and spawn randomly, however they spawn on the hour and on :30 they will disappear after :50 time. The first minute the boss will have a shield, it is best to wait until this disappears until you attack it. Even though these bosses are Level 70 some of their attacks can still one shot you. But don't worry you can re spawn nearby and still be in the area.

To get to the dimensional you can either walk there from each Dimensional Warp or buy the scroll from the general merchant, this will teleport you instantly in the area. I recommend just buying the scroll.

Monster Part 3
Kill each world 1st boss once, and then the 2nd boss kill it multiple times.
You can refer to the World Boss section to get a better understanding.

General
There is a lot of exploration points and you will have to travel on foot to unlock all the camps and areas as the new jump quest system will make you skip a lot of these. Dimensional Warp you just warp there when you unlock the level requirement.

Explore;
These achievements are some side exploration ones that give you some cool or funny titles for your character. It is easier to show you all the locations via video.

There are all in order from start to finish and are timestamped.

Character

General;
There are 2 achievements for a title and a pet.
You can still complete these but it will take you some time to complete them.

For this one you have to visit the main Events of EOS. They happen in Summer, Fall and Winter.

For the next one, do all of these. Have fun.
For Theatre, you have to kill 100 on each Battlefield Map and Arena is 3v3.

Misc

Luck
For Box Seeker you can do this before or After Level 70, you can find them dotted around the world maps. For the sanctum you have to do this under Lvl70. If you are Lvl70, say goodbye to this achievement. If you are under Lvl 70 you can spam these Sanctum every 10 seconds.

Event

Summer
There are quite a few fun achievements to get throughout the event, 2 of which you can throw the water balloons you get from the event and either Throw it on a Praya you spawn or a player and vise versa. Usually being AFK on the watermelon island will get you this achievement as people can throw balloons at you. For the last one, you need to buy 3 items. Outfit, Weapon skin and Shark to complete this.

Fall Event (OktoberFest)
This is quite easy, just do the quest that gives the beer and sausage and eat them, you can complete this until the event is over. The boss here will only spawn 1 hour after being killed.

Halloween Event
There are some boxes on the ground around Bernicia where the event is held and inside these boxes will give you different items you can consume. Consuming some of them, like the candy will grant you an achievement. Trick or Treat you will get during the quest and another is that you have to purchase the pumpkins and use them on other players. Defeating the boss 25 times will grant you another achievement and this boss will spawn every hour.

Christmas Event
The first part in the picture is no longer available to due the event been changed and those quests no longer exist. However the others you can do. All you need to do is kill the boss which spawns every hour and participate in the Sleigh Race. Hyper Driver is an achievement that is recommended to get as it applies a buff to your character which is Attack speed, movement Speed and Experience gain by +1%

(if there are any achievements you do not understand, type a comment and i'll get back to it)
Useful Commands
There are quite a few commands to use in game if needed - aka shortcuts.
Might need updating later but for now a lot of these work

You can just use the tab to scroll through chat/shout/party/raid etc if you are within those chats already.
/s - Local/Conversation Chat /p - Party Chat /ra - Raid Party chat /rw - Send a raid warning to your fellow party members /g - Guild Chat /w - Whisper another user /r - Reply to a users whisper /gr - Reply to a group /z - Map/Region Chat (Shout) /invite - Invite user to party /pw - Quit Party /kick - Kick user out of party /pm - Assign user to Party Lead /friend - Add user to your friend list /unfriend - Remove user from your friend list /block - Block a user /unblock - Unblock User /ginvite - Invite user to guild /gw - Quit guild /stuck - Remove a character from area to nearest registered point when stuck /info (name) - View other character's info /duel - Request Duel /dreset - Reset Dungeon /t - Set target on user /areset - Reset Arena /reset - Reset your UI /dice - Roll dice for items, or fun.
Downloading the Game
Over the years and recently i have come across quite a few people that cannot download or proceed past the launcher for Echo of Soul. So here is a simple guide in case you are running into Errors or issues while downloading.

What are some solutions that may help me?

Here are a few reason why you might not be able to download

1. You may need to use a VPN, yes usually this is for games that have your country locked, but for some reason a few countries just cannot connect without a VPN. You aren't locked out, it's just how EOS works. The game servers are based in Germany, so using any Europe country on your VPN will work.

2. You keep getting an error for XINGCODE or something similar. This is an annoying error and will keep happening, for this to stop you might have to delete the folder or you have some sort of 3rd party software on your PC that is preventing this from happening. You may also have an anti-virus software which will prevent this as well.

3. If you have windows 11, you will struggle more to download and play this game as it is not very compatible. You can run this game in windows 7 mode and it may proceed to work.

For further solutions here is a list that is posted on their discord
If the game client doesn't launch after you've entered your username & password, please try each of the following, attempting to launch the game after each one:
  • 1 - Avoid running the game client on remote desktop connections or virtual machines, as these may cause conflicts between the system and client.
  • 2 - Reboot your PC.
  • 3 - Open the Task Manager, close any EOS applications and/or processes, and try again. You may need to repeat this multiple times.
  • 4 - Remove the XIGNCODE folder from your EchoOfSoul>GameClient folder
  • 5 - Reinstall the game client.
  • 6 - Run the game as an administrator.
  • 7 - Run the game in Windows 7 or Windows 8 compatibility mode.
  • 8 - Ensure that Windows is fully updated.
  • 9 - Perform a fresh re-installation of Windows (a lengthy process - should only be used as a last resort).
If these steps still don't resolve your issue, please delete your Echo of Soul game folder completely and download our new client from the official website

If none of these work and you are downloading from steam i recommend downloading from the official website instead Click here to be directed[eos.papayaplay.com]

I have the game downloaded fine but the launcher won't work, why?
There are some simple solutions to this and the main reason being Microsoft Edge. This launcher runs on Internet Explorer / Microsoft edge so you will need to either update this or have it installed if you don't and make sure the cache is cleared.

Turn off windows defender and your firewall. Yes it is a risk but trust me, this happened a lot in the past that when you pressed play, the launcher would disappear but the game would never open. This is most likely the reason why, for some reason your windows defender and firewall will block this game from opening. So turn it off, load the game up and once you have the game opened and ready to play turn back it back on.

You might want to just keep trying, eventually it will let you in the game. So keep logging in and closing the game in task manager if the game will not appear.
Errors & Bugs
Current bugs and errors you might bump into;

Quest Bug
After completing the first part of the story, you will come across Riggan and you need to use the altar, however after the cut scene there is a possibility that the quest bugs and you cannot proceed. To fix this you will have to abandon the quest and retake it. So you will have to go to a town and find the 'Quest Helper' NPC and re-take the quest, shown on the image to the right. If this does not work you will have to send in a support ticket through their website and someone will get back to you. As far as i know this is the only quest that bugs, if you find anymore please report them to the team on Discord or through the ticket system.

Map Loading
There is a lot of loading errors, maps that just don't load or you will find yourself falling through the world. This is a common occurrence, if you happen to fall through the world use /stuck or reload your game. If you see map errors like in the pictures shown, just move your camera around, they are permanent errors and only show when your camera slightly tilts.

Raids & Dungeons

Dark Citadel Zone 2
This raid is bugged and by that i mean there is a 90% chance you won't ever reach the last stage of the raid where the last boss is. There is 2 pillars that need to be activated and once it has enemies will spawn and you have to kill them. This is where it can bug where the entrance to the last boss remains closed. It is best to avoid this Raid until it get fixed.

Kranhiem Zone 2
There is a memory issue regarding the last boss when he goes into his Heal phase near the end. This is will stop people from moving and there is a chance you will disconnect due to a Memory Error. This has been here since the beginning so i doubt it will ever get fixed.

Blazing Peek of Dreams
This will only happen if you are 'too strong' by that i mean end game gear. During the 2nd bosses you have to kill them slowly otherwise if you end up killing them too fast they will bug and get stuck and the only way out is to slowly kill yourself in the wall. To prevent this, either don't do the dungeon or ..well, kill them slowly with auto attack.

Woods of Chaos (Hero)
On the last boss if you don't successfully block him twice he can bug his HP, meaning that his HP will always reset. So make sure to always block the boss, only 2 people need to block. However, with some testing it seems that if only 1 person blocks that's when he can bug.

Death Festival Party
All party members must be inside the room. If you start the bosses with someone at the entrance they will bug and you will not be able to fix until all members are present. So make sure you are not AFK.

Room of Trials
There is a chance you don't get your coins as a reward. If you do not get these in your mailbox after you have completed it file a ticket to the support on their official website and explain.

Mechanics on Bosses
A lot of bosses skills don't activate or are bugged. Meaning they either don't work as intended or they can be bugged this makes dungeons and raids a lot easier to get through. For example, the first boss of Felglow stun circle can be cancelled out with certain AOE skills.

Characters & Skills

Character creation Bug. If you have active characters but decide to delete one, say you have 8 but delete one and now have 7, you waited the 7 days (if over level 10) and you cannot create anew. This is a bug and you will have to File a ticket through support to get this fixed.

There is one scroll for the Insignia of Spiros and that is Solid Ground. This gives attack speed to any class and it also works in battlefield. This scroll is broken and needs fixing as it is a game breaking issue. If you are using this, i am not sure if you will get reported and given a warning. But this is my warning in case as bugs that are unfair or game breaking are usually punished by 'abusing' something that shouldn't be able to be used.

There is a buff on bard called Peek Performance from the deification skills that is bugged where it will increase everyone's Attack by a lot. You will only notice this if your attack stat in your profile is higher than normal or the bard tells you.

Paladin Jump is buggy and most of their skills are too, especially on crusader. For the jump you will notice sometimes if you jump and then move quickly you will bounce back off your target without taunting them. This can be annoying but also fun to mess around with.

The New Einherjar's weapon is bugged where it doesn't render correctly when you have the jewel shown on the weapon. For example it will have black and white squares or with rogue the weapon floats.

Other
  • The cash shop doesn't open. You may have to repeatedly click it in order for it to open or go back to character select or enter cross server. You need to "refresh" your game in order for it to open. It's annoying and needs fixing.

  • Hot bar disappearances. You might notice that sometimes when you play multiple characters some skills or items will be missing from your hot bar, this is a client issue and most likely won't be fixed.

  • Translation Errors. There's quite a lot, you might notice some items will have a description that has nothing to do with the item. Some mounts have them as well, even skills.

  • Invisible characters. You might notice some people will be invisible and visible only on their mounts. This can also happen to yourself but you won't realise it until someone points this out.

  • There is some times an issue with auto walking where your character will randomly walk by itself while you are trying to do a raid or gather things.
Settings
There are a few settings you can tweak to make your game run how you want it to and also some settings that can change things within the game. You can open the settings with the shortcut ALT + O or press escape and click settings.

The first page is the system settings, adjust this to how your PC can run. With EoS it does not matter what graphics settings you are on, the game will still perform bad at times.

Game Settings
There are few things you can adjust which makes things a little easier.
For example you can hide all your active buffs neater.

You can change chat settings to make the chat box transparent or not or add a time next to the messages or hide prohibited words or not.

All other settings are pretty self explanatory. You can change all the hotkey settings to fit your play style. You can also add more hot bars 10 or 20 to the left side of your screen for more space for items/gears/mounts etc and change those hot keys as well.
Events - Ongoing
This will be updated every time there is a new event. Existing events may come back. There are 4 main events that are repeatable which are seasonal which i won't do a guide on as those are very self explanatory to do unless they get an update and need some guidance. Those events are Summer, Oktoberfest, Halloween & Christmas.

Summer Event 2025 - Open [Updated]

Summer Event - Manta Reef
Once loaded into the game, you will have a quest that will pop up underneath your daily quest system (or map) area. Once accepted you will need to talk to Dig Duv who is in the centre of Ignea. Dig Duv will then provide you a list of quests, this is only viable to those that do not own a swimsuit to enter Manta Reef.

These quests tell you to kill 100 monsters and 2 Area bosses.
An easier way to obtain a swimsuit is to purchase it with Golden Eggs or Diamonds.

Once you have your swimsuit, you may enter Manta Reef. But remember to un-equip your weapons, it's dangerous to take along with you!

Questing
Throughout this event there are 16 daily quests, each that give coin fragments. All which are quite easy to do. There is only 1 repeatable and that is to kill Mr. Pori.

There is one normal quest which people might not know about, you can only do this once and it will give you 150 fragments in total. All you need to do is talk to dig duv and accept the vacation quest, this alone will give you the outfit and 50 fragments. If you're inside you will have to exit and enter again for it to complete. After that talk to Gurlap Pori and he will then give you another quest where you have to talk to other poris, once completed he then give you another quest to talk to the warp NPC which also gives you 50 fragments.

Manta Reef Local Cuisine
For this quest you must collect 10 oysters and buy the recipe in the shop for 1 gold and silver.

Once you have then the recipe is kept and you can now do it without buying it again.

Maps
There is 5 quests that will provide you with Map fragments, you need all 5 to gain 1 Map. These maps will give you a riddle to a spot that opens a new room once interacted with.

Here is the map locations on the island;

Here you are entered into a cave with 6 mysterious boxes, each that give you 1 different item per box than the others. I suggest opening the Comet box (white) in order to obtain Mistliteinn.

Here is a table of the special items in each chest;

Watermelon Island
This is open for 30 minutes on the hour, in here you will have 4 daily quests.
  • - Collect 8 Golden Melons
  • - Collect 8 Green Melons
  • - KIll the Mr. Pori (Boss)
  • - Hit The small poris 20 times

The Boss
This is who you will throw your water balloons onto!

He will spawn in the middle of the island and all you have to do is throw your balloons at him to complete the daily!
He does have some small mechanics so don't get too close!

When the first boss is dead, go outside and complete it and retake the repeatable again and go inside and kill the top one, rinse repeat. There is only 3 boss that spawn within the 5 minutes so if you come late you won't get this quest done. So make sure to be there on the hour!

If he doesn't spawn, you can still get the Bombarded Thief quest completed just by spawning a praya and hitting her with the water balloons! She lasts for 10 Minutes, so you have plenty of time to hit her! You can also hit the NPC near the teleporter for this quest! Hitting other players doesn't work, you can hit other players to gain the achievement (check out the achievement section).

Tips
  • Manta Reef Shark & HotSummer Seals have more move speed in the map
  • You can use x2 Seeking set for move speed & Soul Share Move Speed
  • You can kill starfish (basic attack) and gain Orb buff for 1 minute (move speed if you get lucky)
  • You can do the starfish quest faster by just running and pressing the icon, you don't have to stand there and use it.
  • Watermelon Break, just tilt your camera down and you can see. Also using tab to target. You can also, if you're fast enough, grab all 3 quests and do them altogether.
  • If you are a new player DO NOT focus gear boxes. This is pointless.
  • Focus either Asgardian ore or Mistilteinn, you will get over 4000 if you do 8 characters by the end of the event. As they are both Account Storage.
Oktoberfest Event 2024 - Closed

If you a new player or if you have not experienced this event before you will have a pop up quest under your map. You will need to accept this and complete it by heading over to the Chef in Ignea.

If you are a returning player and have experienced this event before then all you need to do is just teleport via the Chef NPC and you will be inside Oktoberfest.

Unfortunately the shop doesn't require helpful items so I suggest either buying the Mistilteinn box or use the coins to purchase the beer recipe. If you think other items interest you more, then by all means use the coins on which you think you need.

How to complete quests;
All quest are quite tedious but very simple.

2 Quests require you to drink beer and splash water

All you need to do is drink the beer while selecting the target, when it falls to the ground you use the water on it. Repeat this until both quests are finished.

You will need to grab the 2 repeatable quests (Beer & Sausage) The boar quest you can ignore.

All you need to do is kill bears and wolves, both will complete 1 quest and the other you will need to gather water sources in the river. Once you have finished those, go back tot he same NPC and complete them. He will hand you over 2 items. These items are going to complete another quest, but first you must buy each recipe for the beer and the sausage. Don't worry about using your coins for them you will get them back plus 2 more. When your items have converted into the beer and sausage you must eat them to complete the quest.

Soranus (Boss)
He is part of a daily quest but you can also kill him on a repeatable quest which will be given when he spawns, so make sure to accept it before he dies! The quest will show up under your map area.

There isn't too much to this, just kill him.
The spawn rate for him is 27 minutes when he dies.

Beer
Beer is a powerful consumption which grants you x4 Experience that you gain. In this event you will get 34 beers in total but on top of that you will also gain 1 beer for free each day when you complete the event. I suggest using this wisely if you are hunting for experience therefore you are not wasting it.

Sausage
This grants you resting experience which is also good, you will obtain 34 overall same as the beer. You don't have to purchase this more than the quest.

Quest Guide

How to get to the event?
Simple just go to the warp in ignea and talk to the Pori, they'll teleport you there

On first day the quests didn't show up on the NPCs so people may be confused on which quests are where. (Not sure if this will be fixed, if it does, great i won't update it if it gets fixed)

The amount of coins you will receive during event;
  • 17 coins per day from quests
  • 1 coin per hour from boss
  • 15 coins for 5 hours 18:00-23:00 (Server time)

Here are the NPCs you need to talk to in order to get every quest available.

Once you have your quests, there are some quests that must be done in certain orders to obtain the next or complete another. Confusing right? No problem I got you covered. Also the quest items won't show up on your map unless you're close to the answer.

You can do any quest in order accept for 1.
You will need to complete the Creepy Help quest first before you give out candy, if you already have the permanent head then just equip it and complete the trick or treat quests without this order.

However if you do not own this pumpkin head you will have to complete this first. To do this you will need to place 7 pumpkin lanterns around Bernica, you can do this in 1 spot as they disappear quite quickly can find 4 in 1 spot together located on the maps circled.

Pretty straight forward. Doing this quest will also complete an achievement that will give you a nice title (Halloween Achievement guide at the end)

This quest is pretty easy, just find these little ghost boxes and kill the ghost that appears in red writing, you can camp 1 box it doesn't take long to re-spawn to open it. Or you can find them around the edges, there are sometimes 2-3 boxes together.

Straight forward, take quest and go find the teddy bear.

Another straight forward quest, go grab a chicken egg and then talk to an NPC to grab your soul orb then complete the quest

This ritual quest is easy as well, however because the quest doesn't show up once you've done his first quest talk to him again for his 2nd quest.

Halloween Boss Spawns every hour on the hour. The repeatable quest will be available under your map everytime he spawns make sure to grab it. You cannot use skills to kill him, you need the candy bags in which you throw at him which can be found inside the presents you see around the map. Do this until he dies.

Halloween Achievements

There are 4 in total. 1 in which you have to spend coins in order to complete which is the pumpkin party item in the shop.

If you cannot read the orange text i'll list it here;
  • Zombie Apocalypse - Eat Zombification candies from presents (50)
  • Pumpkinhead - Place the pumpkins on other players heads (10)
  • Ahhh! A Ghost! - Kill the boss (25) times
  • Trick or Treat! - Complete the Trick or Treat Quest (7) times

Christmas Event 2024 - Closed

Merry Christmas to all soulkeepers!

Duration; 19th - 15th January
Caution; Do NOT destroy the teleport scroll as it is your only way inside the village!

Once you log in there will be a quest under your map, accept it and complete it. It will give you a teleport scroll in your inventory. You will use this to get inside the village and it is your only way inside, so do not destroy, it will automatically be removed from your inventory on the 15th January.

Questing

Once You are inside there are 6 main quests and 3 repeatable. 2 of which are from Granpa Pori so make sure to talk to him again after you completed his first quest. The quests are a little buggy as some people cannot see the quest icons on the poris themselves.

But these are the Poris you need to find for quests;

The Repeatable are worth it, if you have time. Debstor Dori gives you a free Christmas cookie every Hour you pick up the quest. This cookie is a great buff to stack up on! The repeatable from Sasha is tedious but good, this one you need time farming. The items drops from dungeons only, so if you are doing any form of dungeons this might be great to pick up. The gift box has a chance to drop a superb, only reason it's worth farming in the chance.

Once you have them, complete them! All are self explanatory.
However there is 1 quest you can do 5 times (a little trick in getting 25 coins in one go!)

After getting the quest from Sasha, you will need to find a gift box, once you do, do NOT complete it, instead abandon it! Once you have take the quest again and keep doing that until you found all 5 gifts.

Once you have all 5 gifts either move an item for the quests to pop up together like in the screen shot or right click on each gift to accept the quest for each one. Once you've done that go gift giving! They are loacted in Bragos Ruins, Orric Rainve>Baradin Town, Voland and Ignea.

It's easier to warp to ignea from Granpa Pori, use the warp portal to go to Bragos > Orric Ravine > Voland and then use the Valhalla or Spiros warp from the Daily Mission menu and head towards the other 2 NPCS.

Soranas Boss
He spawns on every hour where the big Pori is on the map, can't miss the spot. Once he spawns a quest/repeatable will show under your map, just hit him once and wait for him to die.

Pori Sleigh Race
Is probably the fastest way to get coins. Talk to the NPC called Nicole and grab your sleigh and head inside. The portal opens on every Hour for 30 minutes. Just complete the race many times before it closes, you will either get 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize.
Burning Ignea [Closed]
Time-Limited Dungeon Event

Burning Ignea, a time-limited event dungeon where elite bosses return with new Chaos Stage 4 power.

Only Soulkeepers with 1.5 million or more Combat Power may enter, and you’ll have just one hour per day to face these burning threats before being automatically removed!

Battle your way through fierce enemies like Vance, Hubeck, Tumtum, and Tannir, all lurking in this high-stakes dungeon. Defeat them to earn Tokens of Alliance, exclusive Ignea Treasure Chests, and more.

The rewards vary based on your contribution and luck but Item Drop Rate effects do not influence Burning Ignea. Bring your strength, your strategy, and your best build.

TDLR;
- Need 1.5 million attack power to enter
- 1 hour per day, per character
- 4 bosses to defeat for tokens and extra rewards
- The highest damage you do on the boss determines your grade which gives you the extra loot.

So for example, there is 3 raids of different people, all those people get graded on how much damage you do not in your raid but for how many people that are attacking the boss. So you could be 1st dps in your raid but not as a group on the boss. Grade 1-5 get the most tokens including extra rewards, 6-10 just gives you tokens. Anyone below 10th place gets nothing extra, but you still get tokens for killing it just not ranking rewards.

Here is a break down of the bosses and what you can expect from them;

No extra rewards are given for this boss

Extra rewards are given to the top 3 highest damage dealers

Extra rewards are given to the top 5 highest damage dealers

Extra rewards are given to the top 7 highest damage dealers
This boss is currently bugged and only gives awards to the top 5 players.
Sometimes the 6th person gets no loot and sometimes they do.

Remember, you don't have to do this alone nor do you have to be in the same raid as people! If you see people attacking boss don't be afraid to jump in and attack it too, you will get tokens regardless of ranking!

There are treasure chests around the map, I am lazy to and find them all, but if i do i will update it here for people. But you can find them near the bosses and dotted around the map.

Token of Alliances will be removed on July 16th, 2025.
