Introduction
This guide should help you to configure Tarkov optimally from a config point of view. Obviously results may vary due to different hardware and OS setups.

For me personally it helped a lot to increase FPS and more importantly smooth out framerate, frametime and 1% lows.

I tested with these different spec combinations:
  • Ryzen 3600
  • 16GB DDR4 3200 CL16
  • RTX 3070
  • Ryzen 5600X
  • 16GB DDR4 3200 CL16
  • RTX 3070
  • Ryzen 5600X
  • 32GB DDR4 3200 CL16
  • RTX 3070
  • Ryzen 5600X
  • 32GB DDR4 3200 CL16
  • RTX 2080TI

The following settings brought me FPS increase throughtout every spec combination.
Battlestate Games Launcher
1) Open Launcher Settings

2) Copy Settings
[We want the Launcher to close on game start to save on ressources]

3) Clear Temp folder from time to time

4) Clear Logs folder from time to time
[Ctrl+A and delete all Logs in the folder]

5) Clear Cache before EVERY game start
[making sure we don't transfer dead files/temp data/chached data into our run]

System Explorer
While Tarkov offers a Setting to "Only use physical cores" it doesn't work.
So we will have to do that ourselves...

For that I personally like to use "System Explorer".
DOWNLOAD[systemexplorer.net]
(A better known alternative would be "Process Lasso" which I dislike due to disruptive purchasing pop-ups.)

1) Go to the program options

2) Copy the settings. We want the program to start minimized to the tray on PC launch

3) Untick everything that might be ticked by default

Now onto the actual EFT settings within System Explorer:
1) Launch Tarkov and tab out.

2) With Tarkov running it should find it the System Explorer list
[sorting by CPU usage might help]

3) First we need to set our "Process Priority" to "High" and tick the "Permanent" Flag.
[This ensures that Tarkov will get a high Windows priority every time we launch it]

And now the actual topic about the "Only use physical cores" workaround...

4) Under "Process Affinity" we want to select all odd numbers. Those are the physical CPU cores.
Also make sure to tick the "Permanent" Flag.
Windows Settings
I won't include extensive windows optimization BS that boosts your FPS by 0,001% but cripples your OS, but there is one quick and easy thing to do.

In the Windows 10 "graphic settings", you can manually add Tarkov in the lower section where it says "Graphics Performance Settings":
1) Click "browse"
2) Find your "EscapeFromTarkov.exe" and select it
3) It will now showup in the list
4) Click on it, and click on "Options"

5) select "High Performance" and click "save"

Standby List Cleaner
Before starting Tarkov (and/or in between long sessions), it does make sense to clean your Standby List.
That's some reserved RAM space, that could be used for Tarkov.

In order to clear the List you need to download a very small script/program:
DOWNLOAD[www.mediafire.com]

After the download:
1) Extract
2) Put it somewhere were you'll find it again (I've got mine in documents)
3) Right click the "EmptyStandbyList.exe"
4) Click on Properties
5) Click on Compatibility
6) Check the Box "Run program as admin"
7) Hit apply

Optimally (and that's what I've done) you want to use your keyboard's macro keys or something like that and open the script/program via a key or macro pad. Alternatively I'd suggest to put a shortcut on your desktop.
This way it's easier to run the script/program. You don't need to exit Tarkov while running the script/program.
Ingame Settings
As stated earlier, your ingame settings should be made based on your personal config, however I'd argue, that the following settings are perfect for an upper middle class setup, and should work very well with all kinda setups in mind.

The settings are optimized to give you good performance and visability.

1) Game Settings

2) Graphic Settings

[you also might wanna fiddle around with "POSTFX", but those settings heavily depend on your monitor settings and personal preference, so I don't include them here. Personally i run at +20% Saturation and nothing else].
End
Hope this helps!
Adios :)
