What?
Have you initiated a solo Savegame but now wish to transition to a DedicatedServer? Perhaps you play with a friend and dislike the maximum distance to the server host.

This guide demonstrates how to transfer your solo Savegame to a Dedicated Server, eliminating the need to start a new Save when switching from Solo/Hosted to a Dedicated Server.

Whether the Dedicated Server is installed on the computer where you play or located elsewhere, the process remains the same.
*To install the dedicated server on a headless server, you must use steamCMD; however, the process of copying the savegame remains the same.
Copy of a existing Savegame
Open the following folder:
C:\Users\*\AppData\Local\ProjectWar\Saved\ListenServer\**\GameStates

Copy these three folders:
C:\Users\*\AppData\Local\ProjectWar\Saved\ListenServer\**\GameStates\Accounts
C:\Users\*\AppData\Local\ProjectWar\Saved\ListenServer\**\GameStates\Players
C:\Users\*\AppData\Local\ProjectWar\Saved\ListenServer\**\GameStates\Worlds

Folder structure:

Paste the three Folders to:
C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Front\TheFrontManager\***\Saved\GameStates

Folder structure:

* = Placeholder Username
** = Placeholder ListenServer ID
*** = Placeholder DedicatedServer ID
Start Server
Once you've copied the files, relaunch the game and select "Create Dedicated Server."

In the ensuing window, input details such as the Server name, Password, and additional settings. While only a Server name is mandatory, it's advisable to include a password for added security.
*If you want to play with friends outside of your local network, check "Start Server using P2P mode.

Proceed by clicking "Start Server," and you'll observe the following:

Navigate to your desktop, where an Explorer window will display the "StartServer.bat" file:

Execute a double-click on "StartServer.bat," and a command-line interface (CLI) window will appear—indicating the activation of the dedicated server. Allow 2-3 minutes for the complete loading process (note that warnings can typically be disregarded). Congratulations, your server is now up and running!

Connect to the Dedicated Server
With your Dedicated Server now operational, you can join it. Navigate to the main menu and select "Servers":

Click on "Dedicated Servers" and input the Server name you specified in the configuration into the search field. After a brief moment, your server will appear, and you can join by double-clicking.
