pick skeleton and your rogue class of choice. level cunning and strength, your "skeleton" talent is a huge help here. we will be going for greatswords - they have the highest crit mult - instead of daggers, so level weapon mastery instead of dagger mastery. shadowstrike is obviously a huge help here thanks to the extra 50 or so crit mult. since youre a rogue and already suited to sneaking around, i would recommend going to the old elven ruins early. the jackpot here is the voratun greatsword of massacre, but any weapon will be a huge help. i managed to get a greataxe. from here on out, max out stealth and shadowstrike, then venomous strike. using this method, i was able to unlock marauder well before level 16.
I did know about the advanced archmage spell trees being locked but I didn't really think it was relevant for the guide since I doubt anyone is still playing a pre 1.7 build on the steam version. I've added it in anyway though since it makes for some fun trivia.
To unlock Wanderer, you are not required to defeat Ukruk, however you do need to unlock Adventurer first before you could unlock Wanderer.
Simply create a new character after you have completed the game for the first time and unlocked Adventurer. When you get to the 'Ambush!' scene where you have to fight Ukruk, simply exit the scene, regardless of whether you managed to defeat him or got defeated instead. You should unlock Wanderer when you get back to the World map.
Hope this helps.
