To sweep Abel after the tatsu with evil ryu you gotta do st hp xx mk axe kick, cr mp, cr mp xx lk tatsu, cr hk.

Saw this on an youtube video by the user GameboiDS(he makes nice evil ryu videos).

It gives you hard knockdown while DP does not. Hard knockdown gives you more time to set things up.

Why sweep verses the normal dp at the end? Does sweep do more damage

I lay eggs under your bed, that combo ends in L tatsu H shoryuken, and sweep is only 50 less stun and gives you the opportunity for a setup.

Indeed, bc his sweep got buffed in Ultra. Now it starts up in 6F, just like Akuma's sweep.

I didn't know Evil Ryu could sweep so many characters, since in AE2012 he could only sweep four or five of them. Thanks for the info!
