"During liberation missions, when the game is shuffling through bonus panel rewards, you can open up the legacy collection menu, and when you close it and return to the game, it will linger on for a second on the reward it may give you. If you press A fast enough (or whatever is the confirm button depending on your version), you'll obtain either the reward displayed, the one after that (most likely) or the second after."
Saves a bit of time from having to save scum the bonus panel to land on battle chip.
1. The battle chip rewards on all available bonus panels are predetermined when the map is loaded. If you didn't get say Navi+20 * on the first bonus panels, you have to retreat and reset. Because every panels afterwards are the same.
2. You want to use Meddy and ProtoMan or ToadMan and Colonel for this job because they are the only ones who can saved during missions.
3. Make sure to stand in front of the bonus panels before saving or else you have to walk again.
4. If there are multiple Bonus Panels available, make sure to only do 1 bonus panels per phase. Its much easier to control this way.
