An essential addition to the game imo. It's too easy to slip up in the deeper levels to reasonably expect people to want to start all the way over.

Yeah sorry if I had a Steam deck myself I would try to get it to work

i found where it's supposed to be but for some reason it doesn't show on steam deck.

The original save file from Exanima? Might depend on the flavor of linux and settings. Try looking for Steam related game folders, the game ID is 362490

I should also note to not perform a backup or restore while Steam is still closing Exanima as it may cause a conflict. In case your Salvus is stuck on refreshing, simply press CTRL+R (while clicked into Salvus) or the equivalent shortcut keys for your OS.

@Mechanos New version of Salvus is available, v1.1.0 now offers download for Windows, MacOS, and Linux (Debian). Feel free to give it a try and use the custom saves location settings option since you have the game installed in a non-default location.

Thanks, I've got a version ready that now handles windows vs macos vs debian linux. However I'll spend some more time and get a custom file path dialog option.
