Scenario
The landing area should have walls around it.
Optionally, there can also be walls around you while falling.


Guide
  • Approach the walls around you.
    if there aren't any, go near where they will be when you land

  • When you're about to reach the bottom, hug the wall.
You should've tanked all the fall damage.

Alternatives: Shoot a grappling hook at the ground while falling, place a Cloud Block under your feet (requires insane timing), or get a Lucky Horseshoe from floating islands
