Many people within the SCP Containment Breach community always had a singular common problem related to the game, or more specifically, it's data and memory.
Guide to help generaly fix Memory Access Violation if none of the things work: Guide by Progress Community[community.progress.com]

Memory Access Violation is a common problem related to the:

• Appliaction trying to read/write in a memory location that is outside of its allocated memory space.
  
• Application attempting to read/write in a memory location without autorization from the system.

In the case of the game, SCP Containment Breach Remastered attempted to generate or access certaint parts of the game files. Usually it has to do with using basic buttons like doors/even menu options etc. , scripted cutscenes, or even creation of new save files. Every time you press a button, a string of data is sent to the games files to read it. It usually causes for the game to take a bit of additional space from the hard drive to store the temporary data which is quickly used by other files to determine an outcome of the operation (For example pressing a door button will send a string to the game files which will be a notification for the game to open the right door). However sometimes the game has problems with generating or reading data, with it either being blocked by the system or having no space to write the data, causing the Memory Access Violation error to appear.

These are specifically listed reasons for the error, from hardware problems to having game files corrupted:

• Having low amounts of memory.
  
• Certaint files corrupted (like saved games).
  
• Other applications corrupted which are used by the game.
  
• Having bellow limit hardware.
  
• Having damaged hardware.
  
• Multiple applications running at once.
  
• Modified application files.
  
• Multiple procceses occuring at once possibly causing one process to be corrupted/never be sent.

There are many ways to fix the Memory Access Violation error, from ones in which you modify the game files, to ones that force you to upgrade equipmet:
1. Reinstall the game - the very basic one, uninstall the game using Steam, which is pretty basic and then install it once again.
2. Fully reinstall the game - Unlike the normal reinstallation, this one requries you to delete all game files manually and then uninstall the game with also clearing games cloud data. You then install the game normaly.
3. Disabling anti-aliased text - This one has two ways to fix it. For users that are unable to access the game due to launcher problems you have to find a options.txt file in the game folder, from which you have to modify "antialiased text = 1" to "antialiased text = 0". For people who have problems in the game itself, you can do it by disabling it in the menu options tab.
4. Change the display settings - Set the display settings to your graphics card and running it in fullscreen mode with the same resolution that your monitor can handle/is on (recommended 1920x1080)
5. Uninstall all mods - Even though there are not many mods out there as of writing this tutorial, some errors might be caused by having mods.
6. Replacing computer parts - !!!ONLY DO THIS ONE IF THERE IS NOTHING ELSE AND YOU WANT TO PLAY THE GAME!!!. This can be a suprise for many however the game seems to have more problems if you have hardware like graphics card from AMD. From what i've tested i saw that the error popped out rarley while playing on my laptop with Nvidia GTX 1050TI and almost always when playing on AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT. You can also run a computer diagnosis to check if any parts could be damaged.


I honestly hope this tutorial helps for some people and as my first tutorial to ever be posted i think its pretty nice. Excuse if there were any gramatical errors but i am neither a english master, nor i am from an english speaking country. I will try to attempt at personaly helping some of you in the comments but due to me not being a total expert (just knowing the basics) i might not even look at what people write in the comments.

This tutorial does not contain all possible options to fix the problem as there are many different ways to do it, however these are the ones im familiar with. If people have other fixes, it would be nice to leave them in the comments.
