I've been doing not zomboid things but i know ill catch the zombie bug again at some point, and those are cool ideas so I'll keep them in mind when i do!!
Would be equally cool if there's a chance when reading a book that it will become a "favorite" of the character that will, from that point forward, give enhanced stat recovery even when the bell curve has hit its far end low.
One could set a maximum number of favorites a character could have.
