Now, first things first, you're going to need the basics.

You MUST:
- Be Counter Terrorists.
- Not be an idiot.
- Know that pressing E on a Hostage allows you to pick them up.
- Know that you can shoot while picking up a hostage.

You SHOULD:
- Have a rescue kit.
- Have someone to protect you (preferably).

Now, this is the part that I wanted to get to. This is the most important part of the guide.

YOU MUST NOT BE DOING THIS:
You should NEVER have your knife out when carrying the hostage! It DOES NOT, and I repeat, DOES NOT increase your speed.

So, always keep your weapon up and ready, like this:

Now you're ready to engage in any conflict that may happen on your way back "home".

What's that? Someone shot at you? Then turn the hell around and blast back at them! Your accuracy is always the same. The only thing that carrying the hostage alters is your speed.
Let 'em have it!

It's simple! Just step into the hostage extraction zone, and you win! The hostage will be placed on the ground and will slowly fade away to magically teleport to some random place in the CSGO Universe. Wish him well!
