Practice config settings and commands.

Practice config settings and commands.

Please follow these steps:

Step 1:

Open steam and click on the settings button as shown on the image below.



Step 2:

Click on properties.


Step 3:

Go to installed files and press the browse icon as shown below.


Step 4:

The CS2 root folder in your system will open. Then, click to open the game folder inside your root folder. Keep in mind to not to open the csgo named folder from the root folder.


Step 5:

Now we click on csgo folder viz. inside the game folder.


Step 6:

Go to cfg folder inside the csgo folder.



Step 7:

Copy and paste any .cfg file onto the same cfg folder. Then open the config file with note pad and delete it's content and replace with commands given below.

bind "KEY" "noclip" - to fly around the map.
bind "KEY" "sv_rethrow_last_grenade" - Will re-throw the most recent grenade.

Step 8:

Save the .cfg file. i recommend it to rename practice.cfg for easier execution.



Step 9:

Open Counter-Strike 2 from your steam library.


Step 10:

Get into competitive practice lobby with bots. *Never use these cfg commands on a valve secured servers as this may lead you to get VAC banned. These commands are only intended to be used for practice in private lobbies.*




Final step:

Open developers console (press tilde key ~). In case, your console doesn't open always check if it's enabled from your in-game settings.
Once the console is open type in exec practice and press enter. The lobby will restart and your practice server is up and running.


















Play around and reach your CS2 goals.

To switch maps type these map commands.

map de_inferno
map de_mirage
map de_nuke and so on...

Changing maps might require you to reload the practice config again.
