In this guide, you shall learn how to go FAST which will allow you to die "less". Note that knowing how to schmoove is only 25% at getting better at the game and you will need to know how to SHOOT and PREDICT to be the pro.

1. Setup
Before we start, I would suggest that you set up your binds properly so you can access to items in an instant. Here are the main stuff that should be close to your fingers.

  • Primary Weapon Hotkey
  • Medical Hotkey
  • Keycard Hotkey

after you set them up, I suggest that you play around with them on a private server, which can be done by opening your console and writing "cst".

( You can open your game console by assigning a hotkey for it. )

( Also remember to give yourself admin privilages by writing "adminme" in the console )
( ALSO also if you want to learn more about nearly anything else, the ingame "Operational Guide" is a good place to start. )
2. The Strategy
The strategy is simple on paper, and can be executed by ANY human character. It consists of 3 simple steps:

  1. Get a Scientist Keycard, ( And any keycard that can open checkpoint doors. )
  2. Go to Heavy Containment zone,
  3. Get to 096's or 106's containment room,
  4. Yoink the MTF Operative Keycard.
( Note that if they are missing or the doors are already open, it most likely means someone did this strat before you and you should look for the other room. )

This strategy is by far the easiest and fastest strategy to escape, allowing you to open any Bulletproof Locker №7s with ease meaning YOU CAN DRINK SCP-207 ALL NIGHT BABY!
2.1 Acquiring a Scientist Keycard

How the HECK do I get a scientist keycard if every keycard in Light Containment is taken?

Do not worry young one, there are multiple ways to acquire keycards that exist OUTSIDE of the Light Containment Zone.

Okay, this is going to be tough but you will get your scientist keycard in no time. There are 3 ways of acquiring a scientist keycard OUTSIDE of Light Containment Zone:

  1. Server Room,
  2. Lockers,
  3. Corpses.

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/ugc/2318852812460841805/0EDB47A7499FA72B967E34F57F8772E768A913AD/?imw=256&&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false

  • The first and by far the most forgotten one is the Server Room. This bad boy has a guaranteed Scientist Keycard spawn on either on its upper or lower floors. It is also houses either a generetor, a workstation or a first aid cabinet! ( S Tier room, insane loot and really good for hiding. )

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/ugc/2318852812460834884/C6032C18C8E0D7F695FABFA99236BCC8D450F878/?imw=256&&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false

  • The second one, Lockers, are the easiest and the most reliable one to find. They spawn in all Zones, meaning that wherever you are you can find one. The chances of finding a scientist card is not that common ( 18.75% to be specific. ) but with the amount of them spawning all over the place, you will find one for sure.

  • The third and the most unreliable one by far are Corpses. You will have to find a dead player that so happens to hold the keycard that you need, and not get killed by the thing that killed that player. I would not recommend this strategy unless its your only option.
2.2 Getting to the Containment Rooms
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/ugc/2318852812460818662/76FA657BA06C6C81772B122ED79B4BC4F1EDBA70/?imw=256&&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false
( this lad is prefered. )

So, you finally got a Scientist Keycard, good job! Now the real deal begins, finding the rooms.

First of all, you will need to get to Heavy Containment zone. How can you do that? Simple, you just have to get your hands on a Zone Manager keycard!

I won't go as in-depth on this topic unlike the Scientist Keycard because the same information applies here, so here are some additional stuff! There is a guaranteed zone manager spawn at the Alpha Warhead room, but by the time you get there you will not need the zone manager.

Now the main deal:

Finding the Containment Rooms

There is one simple thing you need:
  • Luck

Yes, thats literally it. You CAN memorize every single level layout and sweat your way to the containment rooms, but who has the mental capacity memorize those horrific abominations? What I would suggest is to stick to the left wall or follow your gut.

Once you get to the containment rooms, there are 3 options to get in:
  1. Scientist Keycard,
  2. Explosives,
  3. Waiting several years for someone to enter so you can swoop in but they take the card first.

If the first step does not succeed, you can always rely on the good ol kaboomers. I would suggest a High Explosive grenade but SCP-018 can work too.

Or you can bribe SCP-079 to open the room but good luck on that one.
3. Profit
After all of that suffering, you finally got your shiny MTF Operative keycard. But why did you go through all that struggle in the first place? Well, by having this keycard, you get access to:

  1. Every single room ( excluding the Micro HID room. )
  2. Weapon Lockers
  3. Bulletproof Lockers

    and most importantly;

  4. Gates!

    You heard me right, the only thing that was standing between you and the best items has now been obliterated. Now try to NOT die because if you do everything will be wasted!
