Description

Ravenbound is an open-world action-adventure roguelike that offers a unique and ambitious take on the genre. With clashing blades, challenging bosses, and the ability to turn into a bird, Ravenbound sets itself apart from the sea of roguelike available today. The massive map filled with optional random encounters, loot to claim, and a Scandinavian fantasy-inspired world make Ravenbound a fresh twist on the familiar roguelike elements.

In Ravenbound, the developer throws out the usual formula in favor of design elements that support its roguelike ambitions. Instead of completing quests and progressing through the story linearly, every chance encounter and discovery fuels the ultimate goal of defeating the nasty world boss at the end of it all. The game of risk and reward is incredibly entertaining, and it synergizes well with the roguelike formula, making Ravenbound an experience unlike any other.

The loot system in Ravenbound is also unique, with a card-based format that allows players to build a hand of cards to add certain bonuses and abilities to modify gameplay.
