Introduction
This is a list of every hidden officer unlocked by accomplishing Feats. A list of Feats, and your progress to achieving them, can be seen in the main menu.

I do not know which feat unlocks which officer, someone would need to write them down as they unlock them.

Some of the notes are from the in-game biographies, mostly for fictional officers with little information in English (for example: the Satomi Hakken and Sanada 10). Others I added some historical or folklore information not listed in the game. Obviously far more could be said about these historical figures than either I or Koei could fit in a couple of sentences.

I am listing them in the order in which they appear in the list of officers. Portraits are in the same order with no breaks, from Koji to Chiyome. The only exception to this are the 4 bugged officers who's portraits appear further down the "Ex.1" portraits tab.
Starting Locations and officer availability
Starting locations: are based on the first scenario in 1534, with two exceptions*. Most of them stay in the same area, such as the Sanada 10 starting in Toishi with the Sanada, moving to Ueda with the Sanada and staying there. Others will move as their family or liege is relocated, such as Tokugawa officers going from Okazaki in early scenarios to Edo after the clan moves. Adding multiple starting locations and dates to this guide would be a ton of work.

*the two exceptions are sort of weird: Chiyo Yamauchi and Ichigen Asakura. Unlike the other hidden officers you unlock, they are actually tagged with birth and death dates. This is strange because other historical officers you unlock are set to "ageless" no matter what, even though some of them were born and died within the timeline of the game.

Availability: What this means is Chiyo and Ichigen are the only hidden officers who will not appear in every scenario. Chiyo is born 1557 and died 1617, so will come of age in 1572. Ichigen is born 1527 and died 1596, so comes of age in 1542 and is dead before Sekigahara.
Portraits
  1. Portrait Order
  2. Portrait Sizes

1 - Portrait Order: I can't post every portrait, so I am posting some of them. Portraits for hidden officers follow the same order as the officer list. So Koji is the first, Teru the second, and so on until Chiyome. I'll post a few so it's easier to see where a particular officer's portrait is without requiring you to start at Koji and count from there.

The 4 bugged officers are not placed near the others but near the bottom of the "Ex.1" portraits tab.

2 - Portrait Size: Steam's system consistently makes my inserted images too big or too small.

If you are having trouble seeing the picture, just click on the image and an enlarged version should pop up.

Male
Genpei era warlord. One of the greatest and most famous samurai in history. A major figure in the Genpei War, he helped his half-brother Yoritomo to establish the Kamakura Shogunate, with Yoritomo becoming the first Shogun to rule Japan. The word for "sympathy for the tragic hero" originates from his life of tragedy. Slander and betrayal would cause his death in exile in 1189 at just 30 years old.
Goemon Ishikawa

Possibly an Iga ninja. Historical record called him a thief. Folklore sometimes portrays him as a ninja, a bandit, or an outlaw hero who stole gold to give to the poor. Legend says he and his son were boiled alive in public after a failed attempt to assassinate Hideyoshi Toyotomi.

Gyuichi Ota
Male
Oda retainer. Originally serving Katsuie Shibata, Nobunaga made him a retainer for his archery skills. He was also a literary talent and his writings on Nobunaga's life were quite famous.
His writings form an important historical account of the times.
Yuko Omura
Male
Hashiba retainer. He became Hideyoshi Hashiba's private secretary when the Oda invaded Harima. A cultured literary talent, he wrote a chronicle of Hideyoshi's military exploits. Extremely accomplished as a poet, playwright, and historian. Hideyoshi even portrayed himself on stage at the Imperial Palace in a play Yuko wrote about his defeat of Mitsuhide Akechi.
Yasuke
Male
Possibly from Mozambique. He came to Japan with the missionary Valignano. Nobunaga made him a retainer. Considered to have the strength of 10 men, he fought along side Nobutada at Honnoji but couldn't save him. Known to have survived Honnoji, was believed to be exiled from Japan afterward.
Okuni Izumo
Female
An important cultural figure in Japanese history, inventor of the theatrical art form of Kabuki. A maiden at Izumo Grand Shrine, her Buddhist dances were quite popular when she went to Kyoto. Said to be exceptionally beautiful, she may have been involved with the famous samurai Sanzaburo Nagoya before his death in 1603; she famously sang to his spirit in her performances afterwards. Retired and disappeared from historical record in 1610 when she would have been around 32 years old.
Sanzaburo Nagoya
Male
Gamo retainer. His father was Governor of Inaba province and his mother was Nobunaga's niece. Songs were sung of his exploits leading the vanguard forces in the invasion of Oshu during the Kunohe rebellion, making him very famous at a young age. Considered exceptionally handsome, he was a popular figure to portray in plays and early Kabuki, though it's unclear if he ever met Okuni Izumo. Killed by a colleague in a fight at a relatively young age.
Hiroko Tsumaki
Female
Wife of Mitsuhide Akechi. Mother of Gracia. Her devotion to her family is immortalized in stories, paintings, and popular culture. Despite her body being scarred from smallpox, Mitsuhide still rejected others to marry her and never took another woman. She sold her own hair to save Mitsuhide from vagrancy. Legend says she died after nursing Mitsuhide from serious disease, which she herself then caught and died from in 1576.
Dokan Ota
Male
Muromachi period officer, Ogigayatsu-Uesugi retainer. Founder and Architect of Edo Castle (now the Imperial Palace). Celebrated as the founder of Tokyo. Remembered as an extraordinary talent in military, civil, and cultural pursuits. He was feared by his Uesugi masters during an internal clan conflict. He was falsely accused of disloyalty by Akisada Uesugi and killed in 1486. Years later, the weakened Akisada would be defeated and killed by Soun Hojo and Tamekage Nagao as the Hojo and Nagao arose.
Jubei Yagyu
Male
Early Edo period Tokugawa retainer. One of the most famous and romanticized samurai of the era. Regarded as the best swordsman from the Yagyu clan, he served the Tokugawa shoguns. He was mysteriously dismissed from his duties and disappears for 12 years before reappearing before the Shogun in 1643. Theories include that he was on a warrior's pilgrimage or a secret spy mission watching the daimyo from the shadows to protect the Shogun. Legend says he lost an eye in his youth and wore an eye patch.

Yorimitsu Minamoto
Male
Heian period warlord. Ancestor of the Settsu Genji. Her served the Imperial Regents, the Fujiwara, and took the violent measures they could not. Served as governor of several states. One of the first Minamoto of historical note, he is the hero of many legends and tales with his 4 legendary retainers. A famous demon slayer.
Motonobu Serada
Male
Ieyasu's step brother, he became his body double after his assassination at the invasion of Owari. Ieyasu's son and heir, Nobuyasu later commanded him to kill himself. (see note)
Tsuru Ohori
Female
Daughter of Ohori of the Mishima navy. With the death of her father and brothers she became chief priest at Oyamtsumi. At 15 she led the resistance to the Ouchi invasion of Shikoku in 1541. She defeated the second invasion just 4 months later by killing Ouchi general Ohara Takakoto in a duel and subsequently destroying much of the Ouchi fleet. In 1543, Sue Harukata's fleet defeated the Kono forces and killed her fiance. Afterward, she ambushed and defeated the Ouchi again. Legend says after the victory she threw herself into the sea in grief for her beloved, though no contemporary records confirm her suicide or dying young.
Chiyome Mochizuki
Female
Takeda retainer. Descendant of a famous Koga ninja. Married Shingen's nephew, Mochizuki Moritoki. After her husband's death at the 4th Battle of Kawanakajima, Shingen asked her to create a secret network of kunoichi. Undercover as shrine maidens and other disguises, Chiyome oversaw 200-300 agents. When Shingen died, she disappeared from historical record.
She is likely an invention of a 1970s book, there's no evidence of her existence and Moritoki did not die at Kawanakajima.

Note: I think Motonobu is from some other Koei game with a weird storyline? His bio makes no sense: Ieyasu was not assassinated at a young age, he wasn't replaced by a brother, and Nobuyasu wasn't Ieyasu's heir since his father put him to death.
Bugged Officers - Tama, Okatsu, Chiyo, and Ichigen
These four officers are not listed in the Historical Officers list but instead in Created Officers. I have no idea why.

None of these four can be edited. Therefore if you wish to make changes to them you will need to create them yourself and turn off the version which you unlock.

Lady Okatsu

Ieyasu Tokugawa's concubine. A highly intelligent woman who was loved by Ieyasu and his retainers. It is believe she supported Fuku Saito, who would advise Tokugawa Iemitsu.
Chiyo Yamauchi
Female
Kazutoyo Yamauchi's wife. One of the most famous samurai couples in history, Chiyo has been honored throughout history in popular culture. Most known for letting the Kazutoyo know of Mitsunari Ishida's raising of troops right before Sekigahara. Her brilliance helped Kazutoyo and the Yamauchi rise from low status to governor of the Tosa Domain. Her husband deeply loved her and credited her for his successful rise to power.
Ichigen Asakura
Male
Otomo Retainer. When the Shimazu army attacked Dabaru Castle in Bungo, he set a trap and left it. When the Shimazu occupied the burning castle, he counterattacked and dealt severe damage.

* Chiyo's starting base moves in (almost?) every scenario she appears in. She follows her husband who is also jumps clans several times.
** Ichigen's starting location is bugged. He starts in Okazaki (Matsudaira/Tokugawa territory) which doesn't make sense, it should be Funai with the Otomo.
