Repair "Half-Life: 25th Anniversary"

After the release of the game update "Half-Life: 25th Anniversary", the game also received many new bugs and errors. Many of the errors are due to incompatibility of certain old files, saves, and settings left over from the standard version of the game.

In this guide, we will try to get rid of all the old garbage that may interfere with the normal operation of the updated version of "Half-Life".

1. Go to the game "Half-Life" in your "Steam Library". Right-click on the game icon. Select "Properties" and go to the "General" section. Disable synchronization with "Steam Cloud".

2. Then uninstall the game "Half-Life" from "Steam".

3. Go to the path "Steam/steamapps/common" and completely delete the "Half-Life" folder.

4. Go to the path “Steam/steamapps/sourcemods” and completely delete all folders associated with the modification of the game “Half-Life”.

5. Open the Windows Registry Editor, go to the path: “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve” and completely delete the “Half-Life” section. Then we also follow the path: “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps” and completely delete the “70” section.

6. Open the “Steam Library” and download and install the game again.

7. Let's launch!
