Kuvaus
The third iteration of my Heat inspired Desert Eagle skin, The first two were almost entirely painted on the UVs of the model which looked cool but was kinda lazy. With CS2 being a big update I wanted to update the concept to a new level.
The MK3 differs from the first two by being done completely in Substance Painter, using different smart masks and tweaks to get the effects I wanted over the base materials which were also somewhat modified to get the look I wanted. The result is a blue steel with the heat effect actually looking like it's coming from the core of the gun instead of just the UV edges, I thought that a orange blue contrast would be way more fitting to the CS2 art style compared to the original orange and gray.
