These Achievements are earned during a normal playthrough without the need of special requirements or attention. At the end will be a map indicating where to find the different dinosaur remnants.


* One full Triceratops skeleton is distributed across 2 excavations sites.
** The Utahraptor from the Raptor DLC is not required for these achievements.

These Achievements can be missed during a playthrough or can only be earned during two different ones.


To unlock the "All by myself" achievement, you must clean all bones of every species in a single playthrough. If there are multiple sets of skeletons for one species, manual cleaning is required only once for each set of bones. (This does not need to be done within one savefile, but is tracked across multiple)

* For this achievement only the fossils in the Prologue need to be cleaned manually. (confirmed)

The following Achievements are bound to the Quarry map.

The following Achievements are bound to the Dinosaur Canyon map. For the Points-of-Interest Achievements a map is provided at the end of this section.


* You probably do not have to visit the points-of-interest within one session however I would advise to do so if you are not sure whether you visited every PoI or which one is missing.

The Mars Rover can be found inside the blue container at the construction side at the very end of the road you get on by turning left from the hub. In order to get around the fence you can go to the right from the closed entry gate and jump down the small hill. You have to be inside the container for the achievement to trigger.

The following Achievements are bound to the Grizzlies East Mountains map. For the Points-of-Interest Achievements a map is provided at the end of this section.

This section contains the achievements that can only be earned when at Grandpa's Garage.


After you excavated each dinosaur remnant at least once and got to the National Museum, interact with the newspapers on the desk in the "office room" and skip through all of them.


The tables to interact with are the office table with the newspapers on it, the small table with the blank paper, the table with the wooden dino figurines, and the table in the garage at which one can color their tools.

This section contains all achievements that are not instantly earned by just playing the game but do require tasks the player has to accomplish.


This achievement can be either earned during the prologue or in the main game.


For the "Rockbreaker" Achievements the rocks blocking the street as well as rocks that can be dug up and do not contain any fossil count towards it.


Both achievements for maxing out the respective Skill-Trees are a little bit misleading:
Even though the "It can't get any better!" achievement is telling to get all tools to max level, what it actually requires is to complete the whole tech tree within the player's skills (so also swimming etc.).
For the "I work with the best!" achievement you do not need to obtain all the skills at one time (which is also not possible) but each skill has to be obtained once. So you need to reset the tree at least once in order to enable this achievement.


For these achievements the Utahraptor DLC is not required.


The eggs have to be cleaned in the museum and then placed in it in order for them to count towards the achievement.

In order to change the time you can go to the "Travel" tab on your notepad, then go to "Change day" on any map you want to travel too and then click on the "+" on the top right of the tablets screen. This will change the time of day.


The "Have you checked fuel prices?" achievement is misleading and even though it asks for fuel canisters to be filled, it is actually enabled by topping up cars and the underwater pump. The most probable explanation on how this achievement is enabled is that there exists a cumulative counter that enables the achievement when the equivalent of 25 fuel canisters (1250l) has been used. Furthermore, it is not required to do this in one playthrough, but can be achieved over several runs. An easy way to get this achievement is to not get any fuel consumption upgrades and drive around the map finding all digsites and collectibles. You can also run your truck into a wall and just drive until your fuel tank is empty. Place your fuel canisters next to your car (or drive into the wall at the starting hub next to the big fuel tank) and top up your car when it is empty. (Using underwater pumps or generators for this achievement are way slower to get this achievement)

The following achievements are dependent on the player publishing their museum to the Steam workshop and others to visit these. In order for a visit to count towards this achievement, another player needs to subscribe to your museum and visit it in-game via the Workshop tab in the main menu.
Important to note is that the amount of visitors is not cumulative and must be achieved on one uploaded museum and does not count all visitors you got across several uploaded ones.

IMPORTANT: There can only be 9 previews for the museums. So links that do not show any preview, are also working and are not faulty.

There are currently no bugged achievements in the game. :)
