Introduction
On some systems where are no sound in some cutscenes in the game. Presumably this happens when the game is launched on modern versions of Windows (Windows 8 and higher).
The reason is old version of the Bink[www.radgametools.com] library (1.99a) that is used by the game. It is not fully compatibile with the modern versions of Windows. This library is a decoder for in-game videos.

Replacement the library by the newer version (1.99r) allow you to solve the problem.
Steps:
  1. Download the library binkw32.dll (version 1.99r), for example from here[ru.dll-files.com]
  2. Extract binkw32.dll from the archive, if it was comperssed.
  3. (Optional) Backup the original binkw32.dll from the game folder:
    [Steam or Steamlibrary path]\steamapps\common\Remember Me\Binaries\Win32
Or you can use Verify Integrity in case something goes wrong.
  4. Replace the the file binkw32.dll in the game folder:
    [Steam or Steamlibrary path]\steamapps\common\Remember Me\Binaries\Win32
  5. Join the game.
