Autofire, better than a Single Action Army.

1. From your Steam Library, click on the game to bring up its library page.
2. Click Controller Layout. It's on the bar with Store Page, Discussions, Guides, etc on it.
3. Click Edit Layout. This will bring up all the keybindings for your controller.
4. Find the Circle/B button and on the right of it you'll see a cog button. Click it.
5. At the top is the autofire toggle. Enable it.
6. Once enable a slider is enabled for setting how much it autofires. It has a default value of 100. Reduce that to 30.
7. You're all set, Carrier-Boy.

Optional: - Make a separate layout just for using autofire for easy layout switching.

I beat it on Extreme countless of times, it can be done, but you have to train your muscle for it. Am I okay with using this method now? Yes

currently developing a mod what adds ocelots torture throughout the entire game to make it more realistic to real life

Is it cheating? Absolutely. But after years of playing MGS and more replays than I can count. My tired old ass just wants to enjoy the game and I always dread the wrist breaking insanity that is Ocelot's torture. I did learn about the spoon method a couple years ago though so it made things easier but it's still a pain. This right here though is pretty much an accessibility setting in my opinion lol
