Gameplay footage of the PS1 edition of Mortal Kombat 4. Some people asked since we have footage of the other versions so heres the PS1 release.

The PS1 release of MK4 is perhaps the worst release of this game (maybe the PC port depending on your settings) but out of the main console releases the PS1 is perhaps the worst considering what it could of been like but instead how it ended up.

The N64 release of the game runs at a smooth 60FPS and thanks to the add-on cartridge makes the game look much better. It also kept the Arcade style 3D rendered endings and even though the game was cartridge based it was incredible how it managed to pull off the music and audio.

The Dreamcast release received new characters, new stages and thanks to the graphics power the port was almost arcade perfect looking. MK4G is the best of all the releases due to having the best graphics, extra characters and other additional features.

The PS1 release of MK4 whilst running at 60FPS somehow manages to have the worst graphics, has audio glitches and replaces the endings with brand new FMV style endings.

For comparison sake here is the N64 and Dreamcast versions.
