Straight to the point. Fredbear will be running from the left to the right all the night, you should be able to hear his footsteps. You don't actually need to go from left to right, just stand still and count to 3, if withing 3 seconds he moves, you're fine, start counting again. If he doesn't move, go to the door where he last was headed and shut it immediately. A lot of people tells you to flashlight and, if he's here, close the door. However, this step is not needed. If the last time you heard Fredbear he was heading to the left, he will attack through that door no matter what, so it's pointless to use your flashlight.

Shut the door until the footsteps resume. Just repeat the strategy but focus on where he's heading since he may change destinations really fast. Owning some headsets with surround sound technology will greatly help you since the last footsteps will always be heard either in your left ear or right ear, depending on where he was headed.

If you hear his laugh, first check the bed. If he's in the bed, flashlight him until he's gone, just like you did with the Freddles. If he's not there, check the closet. If he's in the closet, just use the same strategy you did with Foxy (or Mangle in the Halloween Edition), close the closet until footsteps resume. If he's not in the bed or the closet, just go to the last door where he was heading before laughing and close the door, just remember, NO FLASHLIGHT NEEDED, JUST SHUT THE DOOR.
