AGOT Knight Tree

General Information

This is a re-release of the mod AGoT: Knight Tree from the original creator, Mayonez_kun.

This mod lets you track the creation of knights over time. When a character grants knighthood to someone, they become a descendant in that character's knight tree. This allows you to view the origin and descent of knights hundreds of years into the future.

The tree will show you the amount of members it has, as well as the birth and death years of each knight.



The button will appear when a character has a knight tree, it is located between the "Liege" and "Primary Heir" portraits in the character window.



If the button doesn't work when trying to view a dead character's knight tree, it means that all of that character's knight descendants are also dead. The knight tree is deleted in these instances to help with performance.



Version Check

This mod will always(within reason) check for the same version AGOT checks for.



Compatibility Information

This should work with any other mod that doesn’t modify
gui/window_character.gui
in the context of how it is configured in the AGOT mod.

That unfortunately just happens sometimes with lowborn knights.

Will fix that in the next update, the effect that knights someone requires scopes now which wasn't set up in the interaction.

I don't think making it a widget type will suppress the errors in relation to a missing texture reference, the file just has to be there for the game to not tell you about it. I don't have a problem with you using the file to remove the errors.

you are right, but knight_kt_icon still need a placeholder for suppressing error if knight tree not loaded. so I wonder if it's possible that make that button in knight tree's side as a type then simply called by RUI or any other mod

You don't have to use the texture(the bg one). The old RUI compatch as well as the one I made never used the bg texture because it is was already a widget in RUI when the original creator compatched it.
