That‘s a very good way, comp9 - I also add the recipient at the very end to not accidentally send an incorrect message.

Yeah it does seem to happen more often on more important communications and even from time to time on an everyday message/email.

For awhile I tried to attach the file first but I also filled in the "To" in the email/message and sometimes accidentally sent the message before it was done.

Now I attach the file first, write the message, and in the end I add the recipient info--that way I can't accidentally send it.

Also, have you ever noticed that it tends to only happen on essential emails? At least, that has always been my case. I guess it’s you being so careful with wording and checking grammar that it’s the last thing you think about. The only thing worse is attaching the wrong files.
