Ported from Warhammer II, credits to Apex, the original creator

Ursprungligen skrivet av Apex, Original Warhammer II Mod Description:

This mod reduces the size of all battle banners to 30% of the original size.

I found the vanilla banner size way too big, blocking large parts of the screen and taking the immersion out of the game. Removing banners completely makes the battles confusing quickly.

The new banners have the size of what a real banner would look like. A good middle ground between visibility and realism. The banners can still be scaled (marker scale option in the game settings), so make sure to adjust them to your liking.

Compatible with mods that change the banner artwork.

Isn't this mod already here?

Yes, The mod is already ported on Warhammer III Workshop, however the issue is the mod is datacoring, hence being incompatible with anything touching kv_tweaks, causing the infamous camera bug after finishing diplomacy.

@Boshty Late to the party here but in case anyone else reading this is unaware - you can toggle banners off during battles. Tab/Space brings up the UI menu and you can choose when to display banners, unit type icons etc or turn them off completely.

Could you possible release a version that has EVEN SMALLER banners?

I honestly wish there was an option to just remove them entirely. theyre so pointless and immersion breaking.

I would prefer banners like in Medieval 2, but due to how much work goes to making those banners compared to fake banners I see they'll never do it for warhammer. Maybe after game stops getting patches there could be some mod project doing it, but it'll be a mammoth undertaking

Okay I've loaded up the game focusing on that foliage and yeah I can see what you're saying. Problem is the mod itself was pretty much datacoring whole list of settings, some relevant to banners, some not. I guess I will have to do purge of excessive stuff there in order to deal with that foliage stuff. I will be crazy busy in next couple of weeks but if I get time to revisit this mod I would look into it :) Thx for report

Just in general, when the mod is enabled foliage only vanishes (with the setting on) when you get right up to the tree, as oppossed to its normal distance. I

I dont suppose game went so hard on optimisation as to use culling behind banners to preserve resources, is that foliage vanishing behind banners right?
