To enable the controls, we first need to turn on the console in Settings->ADVANCED->Console Access->ON.

Change the settings according to your PC, but remember that ARK is extremely heavy, i recommend it for any PC - Medium/Low Settings for a solid 70/80 FPS base

You can watch this video to compare the graphics settings.


To see your fps stats use: stat fps

  • r.Streaming.PoolSize 0 (unlocks ur whole gpu memory)

  • r.Nanite.MaxPixelsPerEdge 4 (reduces triangles for nanite meshes)

  • r.Lumen.ScreenProbeGather.RadianceCache.ProbeResolution 16 (optimizes lumen)

  • r.DynamicGlobalIlluminationMethod 2 (disables Lumen)

  • r.VolumetricCloud 0 (disables volumetric sky)

  • r.ShadowQuality 0 (disables all shadows)

  • r.VolumetricFog 0 (disables fog)

  • r.Lumen.DiffuseIndirect.Allow 0 (Optimizes Lumen Diffusion)

  • r.Lumen.Reflections.Allow 0 (Disables Lumen Reflections)

  • r.DistanceFieldShadowing 0 (Disables distance field shadowing)

  • r.Water.SingleLayer.Reflection 0 (Disables water reflections)

  • show InstancedGrass (Disables grass and small rocks)

  • show InstancedStaticMeshes (Disables distant objects)

  • sg.FoliageQuality 0 (Reduces the foliage quality)

  • r.ContactShadows 0 ( Disables shadows )

  • r.Shadow.CSM.MaxCascades 0 (Disables shadow cascades)

  • r.MipMapLODBias 0/1/2 (Reduces texture resolution)
