Cheesy tactic on how to get "kill X boss on hard" achievements

This is going to take like 3 seconds but I have to make an introduction. So, the game doesn't really have replay value and on Hard diff it's tedious and unfun af.
So instead of suffering, use this cheesy tactic and get the only actual "hard" achievements in the game.

Start a game on easy difficulty, shoot the boss till it has really low hp, press escape --> options ---> game ---> difficulty, change it to hard, kill the boss, get the achievements.
NOTE: Remember to revert back to easy after killing the boss
