I don't blame him. Fighting giant monsters has far less appeal when the little tiny human appears to take hits better than it does.
...and he quit because he found it to be too "slow" or "clunky" - but the guy never had to learn why it is that way, which is at the core of MH's combat - because he said the first dozen hunts he took were way too easy and he found it annoying that he was "knocked back so much" - but didn't realize he would have been dead way sooner had he not been using such overpowered Defender gear.
Well, he didn't keep playing much after that, but if he had he would definitely have hit a fight that was actually a little testing, and would not have learned anything about what skills and whatever else are the ones helping him, and which aren't, and he would have hit a gaming wall.
Im on my third play through and haven't touched the game in about 3 years so im using it as I re familiarize myself with it.
Im still low rank, but something seems off and I dont want to ruin my experience. I just killed a leigana.
