This is a guide on how to progress through Void Stranger so you can see most of its content. It will naturally contain spoilers but I have tried making it as spoiler-free as possible.

Introduction

This guide assumes that you have progressed enough to see an ending. Hover over the first spoiler tag, then if you do know what it is about, you can reveal the next one. If not, STOP READING IMMEDIATELY and play more.

Also. Since the game is all about discovering stuff by yourself, I recommend only using this as a last resort. Taking notes of anything interesting you find helps a lot more than you’d think, so try doing that if you haven’t yet.

Progression Guide, Pt. 1

1. I have seen the voided ending. → Proceed to b225 while unvoided. If you have not seen the voided ending, you can do it by simply reaching b225 while voided. It is not required to finish the game, but worth it.

2. I have seen Lillie’s ending. → Find Bee.

Progression Guide, Pt. 2

From here on, you’ll need to know several things. If you don’t know one of them, stop reading and try to figure it out yourself.

1. I have seen Cif’s ending.

2. I have all the 3 items Cif had during their route.

Tip for last spoiler: 6x6...

3. I know how to go back to a brane (floor) I have already been in before (without resetting).

Tip for last spoiler: Try getting all the crystals while playing as Gray. A particularly different one will show you the way.

4. I have been to all brand rooms I possibly could.

Tip for last spoiler: Follow the tail.

One of the murals you’d think you can not read entirely has a cheap trick to it.

Tip in case you really can't figure it out: Get your Paint/GIMP skills ready.

That brand shows each side depending on where you stand.

5. I have followed the advice of the rock in one of the brand rooms and ***** ****

6. I have done as requested by a certain someone.

7. I have been to Cif’s brand room.

Tip for last spoiler: Pay attention while on Cif’s domain.

Tip in case you really can't figure it out: The game skips over one specific brane.

Finally... You should know what to do now. Have fun!

Progression Guide, Pt. 3

This assumes you have done everything listed before. It will include solutions so you can see post-game content.

1. Input the brand you see at the end of the true ending credits on any brand room.

2. In the dev room, fall into the eclipse in the last room so you can unlock a special brand. Don't try to outsmart the Cif statue this time, but you can do it again later while dodging it for an extra thing.

3. Use the special brand and beat the high score.

4. Clear the game in the unlocked difficulty so you can unlock sound test.

Cif’s Challenge

1. Enter 03-09-06 in the Sound test (play these songs in sequence and hit Enter). You'll enter a different game mode.

2. Additionally, here a few more of these codes you can enter to see interesting stuff: 01-09, 28-09, 26-04, 33-10, 25-08-20-18, 20-12-20-04, 04-03-02, 46-12-25, 15-03-20-12.

Gor's Quest

1. Talk to Gor while you don't have the sword (disabling it in the menu is not enough). Then use the wand in front of them.

2. Exit the room, get the sword and go back to Gor's room.

3. Talk to the rock and fall into the pit. Follow the stink and have fun.

Carcass ending

Remove the first half of the floor number that says bX. Walk in the void until you hear a noise, then follow it. When you find what you're looking for, kick it 6 times and wait 6 seconds.

Note: this does not cover all the extra content the game has but should be most of it.

That's fair to say. I recommend using the other guide to be honest, since I feel it's better than mine.

The end of progression guide 2 saying "you should know what to do now" isnt very clear that I had to go to 227 and remove all tiles

I'm struggling to understand part 2 point 2 I understand that I can use some of the 6x6 rooms with glass tiles to go in whatever secret room I want but I don't know how that's useful anymore tips ?

Okay,
I fell into the eclipse in the dev room, and I got a special screen with the earth, but I didn't unlock any brand. The room after that contained a cif stone to reset, and when I dodged it, I got a special puzzle screen, but even after solving that I still got no brand. How do you get the brand?

I got to point 2, part 7, and I still don't know what to do.
I killed tail, I killed gor, and there was a broken seal in the lev brand area, but now what? I even went to the 000 area and didn't notice anything different.
