If you use the wireframe template the back logo can be done quickly.

People don’t realise how patient you have to be painting these skins and having to find where texture locations are on an invisible canvas, there is even mirrored sections on some cars, for example if you wrote “TOM” on the number plate of the road slayer, you would get “TOMMOT” lol, so it’s actually impossible to have anything not symmetrical on there! It’s crazy! But we love the results :)

Yes pretty much what I do, but I have the UV skin (ao file) open, so that I point with my finger to an exact point on the UV skin, then I keep my finger in place and flick to the skin I’m painting, so I know where to drag the logo to, but you can always expect multiple alterations before you’re happy lol, it’s a nightmare, but how I’m justifying the time is to improve other textures whilst I’m re visiting each skin.

Unfortunately I could not find where the texture location is for that custom spoiler, thankfully it’s the most generic colour grey so it’s ok.

It can be done quite quickly if you've got the complete logo over the gap for the number plate. Just make a selection the shape of the gap then copy it out of that logo and paste it to line up with the top and middle of the number plate piece. It looks fine from most reasonable chase view angles.

The numbers over the back lights are another story... as are the door handles... and the stupid little bumper strips... and the bumpers themselves.. and the bits around the lights... in fact, I'm not sure why I bother.

Is there any way for your custom spoiler to take the colour from the skin files? On the original Rammer RS spoiler it does but there seems to be a glitch where it shares the same space as the windscreen wiper, leaving either a coloured wiper or a wierd black silhouette of a wiper on the coloured spoiler. If you don't want a black spoiler, that is.

First one turned out good so just got to attack them one by one over the next few days.

You've given me an idea, I always thought having the sponsor going across the rear panel would not look good enough for the time it would take to line up each number plate space with each sponsor on every car!
But that looks good!
It will take a while but i think i'll get tarted converting all of nascar 88, its the one thing that they really need to look really authentic.
