Inescapable is a pretty complex visual novel. There are no glaringly obvious signs that you are heading down the path you want, nor it does keep track. It's not as simple as "If I hang out with character A a lot, we'll go down their route" like many other visual novels tend to have. A lot of people seem to end up on the same route (mostly Lust) due to their choices, even if they replay the game.

You will be presented with options in the visual novel that will gradually nudge you towards a certain path in the first 1/3 of the game. For each choice, you gain a point towards either Lust, Suspicion, Greed or Trust - which are essentially the four routes you can go down in the visual novel. I will call them "themes" for the sake of this guide. You will always have at least 2 choices to make up to 4, and they will always give you a point towards a theme. The choices will not offer you a duplicate of a theme (for example, you will never be given 2 Lust choices. It will always be a Lust and Suspicion, Greed or Trust).

A lot of the hints are quite subtle on what theme the choices may give you a point towards. You will need to read what they are saying or how Harrison are describing things. For example, he may describe what he is seeing as something lewd or suspicious. Those are signs that one option you choose will give Lust or Suspicion points. Another example is if someone talks about money, it's likely going to offer you a Greed option.

Some options will only show up if you talk to certain people frequently. For example, the RPG event will only happen if you talk to Daan and Mia a lot and have expressed interest in it.

PLEASE BE AWARE they are just simply my guesses or processes of eliminations on what theme they follow. Some of them are very obvious but some of them aren't so please take them with a grain of salt.

This guide will help you to get into the path you want or need over the first 56 days (once you have spoken to everyone about the gas incident, that's it. You cannot alter it any further.) There will be a couple of sections for each path.

Quick n' Dirty - This section will give you general hints on what you should be doing if you wish to head down that path.

This guide will also be heavily under construction. Some options may be missing. If you think I have missed something, please do tell me in the comments and I will add them in. If something is wrong, please do let me know on that as well so I can edit it. I will also credit you for your help.

Be lusty. Hang out with Annika and Eva a lot. See sauna scenes. Check out others' Gossip through the Biography app.

• When you are texting someone at the start of the game, text Sam the party musketeer.
  
• When you are asked who to hang out with, party with Eva.
  
• Hang out with Annika and Eva as much as you can.
  
• When you need to pick a side between Eva, Mia or leave it up to a coin flip, pick Eva.
  
• Tell Isak that you think a new skirt would look better on Mia.
  
• During the scripted event at the beach where people are stripping down to their swimsuits, comment that it's lewd.
  
• In the scripted lighthouse event after the scripted beach event, tell Francisca "That's not very ladylike!"
  
• Unlock as many Gossip as you can through the Biography app.
  
• If anyone (typically alone) is at the Pool, there's likely a sauna event waiting for you. The odds are higher if it's a woman.
  
• During the murder mystery game, stay with Annika.
  
• When Harrison is wondering whether Naima is flirting or toying with him, assume that she's flirting with him.
  
• During the tug-o-war game, pair up with Eva.
  
• During the hallucination, kill Lumi.
  
• During the game room event, play Pool.
  
• During the RPG event, play with Francisca's character on the bed.

Be suspicious. Hang out with Mia and Sasha a lot. Check out others' Dirt through the Biography app. Eavesdrop others' conversations. During the box hunt game, take their secrets.

• When you are texting someone at the start of the game, text Nenet the scholar musketeer.
  
• When you are asked who to walk with, walk with Mia.
  
• Hang out with Mia and Sasha as much as you can.
  
• Ask Sasha during your first scripted conversation with them who they think is the most dangerous.
  
• Giovanni is talking to someone in Italian on his phone - ask him what is going on.
  
• When you need to pick a side between Eva, Mia or leave it up to a coin flip, pick Mia.
  
• When Daan asks you what character class you would be, tell him you'd be a Quest Giver.
  
• Unlock as many Dirt as you can through the Biography app.
  
• When Harrison is wondering whether Naima is flirting or toying with him, assume that she's toying around with him.
  
• When Annika and Eva are inside a hotel room, opt to spy on them.
  
• During the hallucination, kill Isak.
  
• During the game room event, play Whodunnit.
  
• During the box hunt event, take their secrets.
  
• During the RPG event, question Pawstinine.
  
• When Lumi asks you how you realized they were gassed, lie.
  
• With Daan and Annika after the gas incident, ask Annika how she knew about the footprints.
  
• With Mia, Francisca, Eva and Valerie, tell them that the sauna was likely the reason why they got gassed.

Be greedy. Hang out with Giovanni and Valerie a lot. Make bets with others and win. Try to chase achievements. Win minigames. During the box hunt game, take the money. You will need to savescum for this path (save before doing the bet/minigame and reload if you lose the bet/minigame, basically).

• When you are texting someone at the start of the game, text Katie the boss musketeer.
  
• Hang out with Giovanni and Valerie as much as you can.
  
• When Daan asks you what character class you would be, tell him you'd multiclass.
  
• Tell Sasha during your first scripted conversation with them that you may die.
  
• With your conversation with Giovanni about stealing money from others, tell him as long as nobody gets hurt.
  
• During your conversation with Valerie about using wealth of the household, tell her that you would like to have the power of the household.
  
• During the murder mystery game, type in EVA as your answer.
  
• In the scripted lighthouse event after the scripted beach event, ask Francisca "Only one euro?"
  
• Complete Word Guesser levels.
  
• Try to get the high score on all arcade games.
  
• When you need to pick a side between Eva, Mia or leave it up to a coin flip, pick the coin flip.
  
• Win fishing contests.
  
• Win the secrets game.
  
• During the mountain race, take the shortcut.
  
• During the tug-o-war game, pair up with Giovanni.
  
• When you find the dreidel toy with Mia and Francisca, tell Mia not to worry.
  
• During the hallucination, kill Valerie.
  
• During the game room event, play Proprietorship.
  
• During the box hunt event, take the money.
  
• During the RPG event, have Mia's character go after the treasure chest.

Be someone others can trust. Try to develop a sense of teamwork and unity. Do not check out Dirt or Gossip. Don't eavesdrop others' conversations. In the box hunt game, try to pick choices that will allow you to not take the money or reveal secrets.

• At the start of the game, don't text anyone.
  
• When you are asked who to walk with, go back to your room alone.
  
• Avoid hanging out with Annika, Eva, Mia, Sasha, Giovanni and Valerie whenever you can. Daan, Francisca, Isak and Lumi should still be safe to hang out with. Advance the day via fishing or the arcade if possible if you cannot avoid hanging out with the previous six.
  
• Don't eavesdrop. If you cannot avoid eavesdropping, advance the day by either fishing or playing the arcade (the arcade is much faster) if possible.
  
• Tell Sasha during your first scripted conversation with them that you won't play the game.
  
• Tell Isak that Mia is fine the way she is when he asks your opinion on what wardrobe change she should undergo.
  
• With your conversation with Giovanni about stealing money from others, tell him that you wouldn't do it.
  
• During your conversation with Valerie about using wealth of the household, tell her that you would like to have an united and supportive family instead.
  
• During the scripted event at the beach where people are stripping down to their swimsuits, tell them that you can't listen to the conversation that is going on.
  
• Don't unlock any Dirt or Gossip in the Biography app.
  
• When Daan asks you what character class you would be, tell him you'd be a Paladin.
  
• Finish the volcano spa in time.
  
• During the murder mystery event, type in NOBODY as your answer.
  
• Help Valerie up the mountain during the race.
  
• During the tug-o-war game, sit out.
  
• When you find the dreidel toy with Mia and Francisca, say that they should be careful.
  
• During the hallucination, kill Harrison.
  
• During the game room event, play the Arcade.
  
• During the RPG event, have Mia's character stay with the group.
  
• During the box hunt event, take neither the secret or money. If that is not possible alternate between the two to keep your Suspicion and Greed points low. Francisca, Isak and Sasha are safe to talk to as they will keep the box they have found and not give you an option to take it (for Sasha's, leave without searching any further).
  
• During the box hunt event, give Giovanni his box. Afterwards, talk to Giovanni a second time if you have given him his box. He will find a box himself and not give you an option to take it.
  
• Tell Isak that you're also a freak.
  
• When Lumi asks you how you realized they were gassed, throw Isak under the bus.
  
• With Daan and Annika after the gas incident, have the group coordinate.
  
• With Mia, Francisca, Eva and Valerie, tell them that the sauna was unlikely the reason why they got gassed.
