"Ataris visited me for the gamescom and i also showed him the airfield i work at.
I had a deal with the firefighters at our airport that i will get a tour for me and my visitors.
So we went out to the truck he explained everything and then we got on bord and he started to explain how to operate the truck.

After that the Firefighter turned to me (i was sitting on the drivers seat) and said "ok and now u gonna drive" .....
i was like ... ehm WTF?! al right! awesome! lets do this!
so we drove down the taxiway to the trainingzone where was a old planewreck waiting as a test target for the "guns".

i turned to ataris and asked him "would u like to be my co-gunner?"
so i turned up the pumpes to full power and we went a bit crazy.
ataris with the frontgun, i operated the roofgun.
the tank on this vehicle holds 6000 liters of water .... within 1 minute we had pumped out 4000 liters.

after that we had to do some work for the airport.

little history lesson:
after the crash of the concode all firebrigades on all bigger airports (under ICAO safety regulations)
have to check the main runways for foregin objects (metalfragments rubberfragments an so on)
every two hours.

after checking in with the tower via radio we got the permission to get on the runway.
that was the time to find out how fast this thing can go......

i had to brake at 150 km/h because the runway was over ... still pretty decent speed for such a massive vehicle ... (like a galleon on super moonshine)

after that the tour went on for a bit, but at the end i had to leave the driverseat and climb out of the truck ..... :(

defintly one the most fun thing i ever did in my life ... and all this together with a friend i only know because of Guns of Icarus Online ....."
