Introduction
Hello, and welcome to TF College 102! Today we'll be covering Objectives. Hopefully this will include more humor while still retaining the brevity of the others. (Also, sorry if there's a typo or two, I'm in Soviet Russia and English is failing me.)
Carts
All image credit (for all of these images except the third) goes to NecroNinja. Also, now with images!

The first main type of objective is a cart (or a train or whatever) that needs to be pushed to the end of a track for BLU team to win, and stopped until time runs out for RED to win.

How a cart works:

If any BLU team member stands by the cart, it will move forward and act like a level 1 dispenser for that person. The more BLU members by the cart, the faster it moves. Scouts count as two people for the cart. It also maxes out speed at 3 people pushing (so sorry, team with 8 dedicated cart scouts, but it's not time travelling).

If ANY RED team member stands next to the cart, it will stop moving. It's not a "Whoever has more people there wins" scenario, RED always wins the cart-pushing war. It will still act as a dispenser to BLU though.

Disguised spies cannot push the cart, but any disguised spy can use the dispenser aspect of the cart.

If a cart is left unattended on a hill with black/yellow stripes (black and yellow, black and yellow), it will roll down the hill, and cannot be stopped by RED team. However, if the cart rolls partway down a hill, BLU team can still get another person on it to keep the cart moving forwards.

Carts destroy any buildings in their path. No exceptions.

After 30 seconds unattended(I think), Payload carts will roll backwards on the track until a) another BLU member stands near the cart, b) it hits a BLU team checkpoint, or c) it hits a hill that it would roll down. Payload Race carts never roll back.
Intelligence
You'll see next picture that there is one RED objective, one BLU objective, and one neutral objective in these pictures.

In Special Delivery and CTF, there are breifcases that teams must collect and deliver.

How Breifcases work:

Run over the intelligence to pick it up (only works if it's your team's Australium in S.D.)

When the intelligence carrier dies, the intelligence is dropped where they died. If not picked up again after a certain time, the intel reverts back to the intel room where it initially came from. Australium also becomes neutral.

ANY touch of the intel resets the timer (Scouts, feel free to run at that Sentry to touch the intel to keep it in an accessible location, it's not like your team needs your abilities elsewhere).

You must stand at the base of the rocket to raise the platform in S.D. Once the nose cone opens, run over to the rocket's nose to deliver the Australium.

Everyone will be alerted to your rough position when you have the Intel, and it will also remove Disguises from spies. If you wish to drop the intel, press L while holding it. Also, cloaked spies cannot carry intel.
Capture Points
The file upload failed, so enjoy this slightly upset Soldier. Also, the last picture's comment is a lie now.

In Attack/Defense, King Of The Hill, and CP, there are Points on the ground that need capturing.

How Points Work:

Stand on a point to start capturing it. The more people that stand on it, the faster the capture goes (no limit here, team of 8 scouts). Scouts count as two people here too.

On a 5 CP map, the middle point will be neutral at the start of the round. After either team captures it, the Control Points farthest forward for each team are available for capture by the other team. If any members of the controlling team step on a point that's being captured, the capture will stop. Also, the farther back a team has been pushed, the less time it will take to cap the remaining points (final point goes quicker than middle point).

If a capturing person dies, the Control Point will slowly start losing capture percentage. If the capture is restarted before the bar drains completely, the bar will start refilling from where it was when the capturer stepped on the point.

In King Of The Hill, both teams fight for control of a single point. When the point is captured, that team's timer begins ticking down. Once the timer hits zero, if the CP is entirely theirs, they win! Otherwise, it goes into Overtime until they do completely control the hill again. Partial captures can really extend overtime.

In Attack/Defense, Reliable Excavations and Demolitions defends and Builders League United attack (*squints*... Seems legit). Red begins controlling all of the Capture points on the map. BLU's goal is to capture those points. Once they do capture one, the next is unlocked for BLU to capture. There is no way for RED to undo a capture. Overtime rules from KOTH still apply.

There's also Hydro, but no one ever plays that anymore :(. So, it's not really worth discussing.
Robots
Robots are like humans. Shoot them to win. When robots are killed, they drop cores. Run over these cores to add to your team's score. If you stand in the enemy's vault (the back of their base), you can steal their cores (and points). You must take at least 25 cores per run, standing in the Vault longer raises the amount you take, otherwise it's just like Intelligence.
Conclusion
Thank you all for reading yet another one of my guides. If you have any suggestions about topics I should cover, put them in the comments below. I hope you guys enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it! (Wait a minute, writing it involved me staring at a screen and typing.) I hope you enjoyed it!

You forgot to mention about some halloween events... In them (Like what is happening currently, seeing as it is halloween) there is a certain objective of killing bosses so that you can get to, say, in the 2013 one, the book in the bombonomicon. I know this prolly doesnt count, but Im just wondering whether that can count or not... Because if you dont kill a boss you can technically win anyway, and the haloween maps you dont have to kill bosses. Just thought it is an objective you forgot to say that technically doesnt count, and please dont hate me for what I have said.

You forgot to mention that scouts who drank Bonk, Ubercharged players and Rocket Jumper/Sticky Jumper Soldiers/Demos can't pick up the intel.
