Improved Spears

Long sticks with blades haphazardly attached to them not doing it for you?
Your sad excuses for "polearms" breaking after hitting only 3 zombies?
Dont have any knives around to mount to your spear because your friend broke them all making basic wooden spears he swears are the "real" meta?

If you said yes to any of these, this mod is for you!

FEATURES:

Create better spear handles with some metal pipes, scrap parts, leather strips for grip, a little duct tape, and your trusty propane torch to put it all together!
Improved Spears have increased durability and slightly more range then their wooden versions!
Attach your smaller weapons properly to the handle with screws to make a real weapon you can be proud of!
No attachments? just beat them to death with the handle.. it sorta works!

Handle Recipe:
Requires Metalworking lvl 2, and Spear lvl 2
Metal Pipe x2
Scrap Metal x2
Propane Torch uses x3
Leather Strips x8
Duct Tape x1
Saw (Kept)

Attach Weapon Recipe:

Improved Spear Handle x1
Screws x2
Screwdriver (Kept)

Is there a way to fix the durability on these spears? It's an improvement from the wooden spears but the trade off with all the materials you need to craft one makes it seem not so worth it, can this be changed or?

if you break the spear then reclaim the parts aren't broken so you can make it again and it'll have 1/3 of max left so you can use them indefinitely just by having enough screws

is there a possibility to have a sandbox option to mod the "base weapon" or specific version of the spear to our liking? the blades and spears overhual make this mod obsolete and i would love to be able to use your mod in a game of mine

Hi, we are using this mod on our Roleplay-Server "FallenLands" and I would like to ask if it would be ok to add it to our Modpack, of course with full credits given?
