...a poem, if you would....
"... for I do not care for those who've already able to throw their rocks from coast to coast.
Thus i cast my stone so other may step on it and cast further than I."
The Gods and their respective towns
The Great Forest Wolf
Home: Wintersholl to the East
The town has good weapons, filled with forest campers

Death's Harlequin
Home: Harrow-Dus to the South-East
Life is but a joke in the eye of inevitable Death, so their town is filled with clowns and Criminals.

The Lords of Dust
Home: Barrow-Linn to the South-West
Just take a ferry from Moon-upon-thoss and you'll get there easily. old tech nerds. The priest may teach you about fast-travel, you better listen carefully.

Our Lady of The Sanguine Moon
Home: The Red Grove to the North West
The priest is a bit of a stuck-up, it's useless to find any ferry services here. filled with witch vampires

The Blind Angels
Home: Hearthaven to the North
I used to only know that they sell foodstuff cheaper, now I know people remembers the place because the Blind angel followers keeps a lot of books! Sadly, they're behind locked doors.
What I could recall...
1. When you've learnt how to walk and bump with (WASD) or clicking, There's an abandoned shed downward right infront of your house, maybe a fitting place for baby's first dungeon crawl?

2. Don't be shy asking around about the Serpent's Eye, you're just a farmer's child, you've done nothing wrong, nor would the priests fault you for it.

...The plot should be strong enough to carry your progress into....

3. you need a boat, but dont want to grind 100k for the license? the description on the license being sold should've gave you a hint about how to get it another way... once you've decided the general area you might "find" it (there might be a clue in this guide), maybe thinking about "why it has not been claimed yet?" would help.

4. You claim your right to your boat by stepping on it in the overworld, not from inside Moon-upon-Thoss.

5. When you use the Roche's Bell, If it rings and you sense a presense nearby, just keep exploring the area while ringing the bell. you're close enough to the spot where you need to ring it, or if you're in the overworld, ringing it might point you to your next destination. Otherwise it'll stay silent, Nevin might know / remind you.

6. Whether you're following the Serpent's Eye questline or not, collecting the 5 relics from each gods is important to reach the ending.
The chase for the relics
All relics are contained in a Relic dungeons. Relic dungeons are 7-story-high dungeons, mostly going down, except the Tower of Fire Veils of the Angels.

  • Steadfast Hand of the Wolf, I'd say the easiest and straightforward one to unlock, you'd just need to fight the mythical beast Sleathen to unlock the relic dungeon! talk to the priest in Wintersholl for the briefing, and find a sulky old man yapping about tradition and "kids these days are cowards!" for more info.
  • All-Seeing Eye of the Angels, To unlock the relic dungeon, you'd have to chase a thief who stole the keys to it. Ask the NPCs, maybe one of 'em have seen it or the thief. When you find him however, in my experience, he fought harder than Sleathen
  • Crimson Candle of the Lady, you need to colect 5 Endera herbs spread around the overworld, in "the center of areas marked by four standing stones" once you have them, just tell the priest and he'll craft the quest item you need to access the relic dungeon.
  • Pale Heart of the Dust, you need to gather 5 Locus Box Parts they're located in
    these dungeons:
    • Bael's Tomb
    • The Poison cross
    • The Enflamed Glade
    • The Venom Cube
    • The Magma chamber
one of them is located at the border of the world, while the rest of them are spread around in the mainland.

  • Trickster's Mask of the Harlequin... It's a riddle that'll send you around Caldera, there's 5 Words in the sentence, only 3 appears in your notes, you need to take note of the other 2 yourself. once you've got the sentence, just yell it out next to the dungeon door, it looked like a floor hatch.
Staring at the End
Once you've collected all the relics, go to talk to the Archon in Moon-upon-Thoss for your reward

You'd better be glad that's not the true ending, there is another! The difference between the First ending and the Second ending is whether you have finished your father's life work or not A.K.A. the Serpent's Eye questline.

If you've followed the Serpent's Eye Questline, you should've known the truth about the gods, the Cataclysm, Their True names, and their Tether. You've collected all of the names, but where's the Tether? Talk to the talking goose in Harrowdus, a man brave enough to strike a deal with the gods must've thought he had some bargaining power to do so.

So, you've found the tether, and you dont know how to use The gods' True name against them? The room where the boss spawn is one of 5 rooms in this boss floor. In the middle of each room there's a brazier we'd like to call an "Altar" that should be enough hints on what to do.

Dont like doing all that? overwhelming firepower would do! Especially when you shut your eyes BLIND and not letting the boss melee you
Miscellanous Miscellany
-You do not need the Locus Box to use the Standing Stone, it is used to unlock a destination you've never been before, that's why I warned you to listen carefully

-THE wall puzzle, it starts in Moon-upon-Thoss' graveyard, there's 1 letter in every town, multiple instance of the same letter is not noted sepparately on your auto-note. It bugs me to the point of anger just to bypass that wall, I wrote a whole guide listing all of my pain points in the game so far.

-If you find a Heart temple out in the wilds, you're in luck! Those extra hearts increase your Max HP by 50, there's 4 hearts, and 3 Temples.... If the last one is not in the temple, where could it be?

-In multi-level dungeons, holes are my friend! Both the Hole trap and the gaping void. I get to skip a floor (unless I'm going up) and the jump only broke some of my glass bottles, I'd say it's a cheap price to pay. Fair warning tho, I heard they kill your companion aswell, sadly I can't relate.
