The "Ink Master" achievement is obtainable after the completion of the entire game, provided you don't die once. While intimidating, it can be obtainable through a couple tricks.

There are three difficulty modes on BADR, but for this achievement I highly recommend playing on Easy. While it is possible on other difficulties, it becomes extremely difficult to achieve during the widow boss fight towards the middle of the game.

Keep in mind the tricks listed in this guide are helpful, but they aren't foolproof. Maintaining focus on this objective is important, and I recommend doing this after your first play-through for a better first experience of the game.

You are able to get this achievement through precision and patience, but as a player who doesn't like to play the whole game in fear of danger, I found this method worked well for me.

To start, know that when you die you will be brought to a screen that says you died, and given the option to start from an auto-save. AT THIS MOMENT the game will auto-save upon your death. But, if you can stop the screen from triggering, you can successfully avoid the penalties.

You can do this by saving almost constantly. Upon entering animation alley for the first time, you will gain the ability to pause and save at any time. This is EXTREMELY important. Save whenever you feel that you are making progress, unlock a new area, or haven't saved in a bit. Continually update your save file as you move forward.

And then there is the trick. When you are about to die in-game, quickly press the pause menu. This can be after your screen fades to black, but has to be before the official death screen. Once in the pause menu, go all the way to the right and click on the door icon. Then select load game, and load the game from your last save file.

This will set you back to your last save, but will avoid the death entirely, and allow you to not miss the achievement. I highly recommend keeping your save file constantly up to date in order to avoid being set a long way back.

But most importantly, NEVER SELECT CONTINUE FROM AUTO-SAVE. This includes when you load into the game. Always click load game. You may be able to get away with selecting auto-save if you were in a safe spot, but rather than risk it I suggest just loading your save each time.

And then have fun! Use this to avoid dying to enemies, as well as avoiding getting found by the Ink Demon during his attacks.

Once given the ability to save, save consistently.

When moving around the game, keep your eyes out for hiding places in order to avoid Ink Demon attacks. If you can't hide in time, quickly load your game to avoid getting caught.

Whenever you are in danger of death, load your last save file before you reach the death screen.

Remember towards the end of the game, the Keepers only take two hits from full health to kill you. Proceed with caution at all times in this section, and make sure you are saving in between moments of danger.
