This mod adds Alexander Of Macedonia, also known as Alexander The Great, to the game.
Available as a unique general in the Grand Campaign of Macedon, you will actually care for him like you never cared for any of your generals before. He will only be available to be raised in the first two rounds after campaign start. Spawning at the age of 18 with a very unique campaign model, you will be able to lead him into glorious battles, and eventually conquer the world!
Be aware though; once he dies in an honorable fight or by the blade of an assassin, you will painfully miss him.

The campaign and battlefield appearance have been created after the example of the movie character 'Alexander', acted by Colin Farrell in Oliver Stone's Hollywood movie of the same name.

Shield and sword have been made using examples from the internet.

Which part of the ingame model have I edited? Everything! Yes, everything has been customized.

I know that Alexander The Great died 323 b.c., 51 years before the campaign of Total War: Rome 2 starts, so he did not live at that time and raising him by then, at the age of 18, is historically inaccurate. I don't care though., so don't start discussions about this. Since there are no approved historically accurate reports and/or photographs as to how Alexander looked like, I will not discuss about his looks either.

Alexander has a campaign model, where he does not wear a helmet, so that you can see his blonde hair, and a battlefield model, where he is wearing a helmet that i painted by hand, trying to make it look like the famous lion helmet as good as i could. I know that the shape of the helmet could be better, but my 3d modeling skills are not yet good enough. However, I will try to create a new helmet once I have the time to do it.

The companion cavalry that is added as Alexander's bodyguard will be available for all other macedonian generals as well, they have some custom textures as well, but don't look as unique as Alexander himself. I do not recommend using them with OTHER GENERALS than Alexander, though, because they use the custom unit card I made, and this very unit card shows Alexander, riding Bucephalos. You can decide on your own, of course :-)

This mod does NOT require ANY DLC.
Furthermore it SHOULD be compatible with EVERY OTHER mod.

KNOWN ISSUES:
While playing vanilla campaigns with only my own unit compilation mod, I saw on the campaign map that some generals seemingly waved with their fists, which looked like they'd cheer up their men. I am not sure whether they should hold a sword in their hand or not. This issue goes for the campaign model of Alexander, too, though. Since it seems to be a vanilla game bug.
