Hello,

We are going to explore the flower hybridization technique in Fae Farm. Flowers are divided into 6 varieties and 12 different colors, making a total of 72 possible variations. It may not be the fastest method, but it is a method that helps avoid errors and headaches.

Varieties: Rose, Lily, Tulip, Hyacinth, Zinnia, Trillium
Colors: Red, white, yellow, blue, green, magenta, orange, black, ivory, violet, teal, pink

There are two places to purchase seeds: Rosalinda to the right of the town square and Asphodel in the fairy village once the dungeon is completed.

I will divide the guide into several parts:

The first part can be done as soon as the purchase of the first 3 seeds and the creation of flower plots are possible. This will represent 18 flower variations.

A second part once the next 3 seeds are available. This will also represent 18 flower variations (can be done in parallel with the first part).

A third part to create 30 more variations.

A fourth part for the final 6 variations.

Comments are available to report errors or ask other questions.

Technical point
It takes time, a lot of time.

Each seed potting takes time to bloom, then time to mutate a new seed, which can take from 2 days to 1 week.
Afterwards, if the seed is not the one we desire, it needs to be destroyed, and we have to wait for a new one by pressing "C", then "G" on the seed to be destroyed.

Once the desired seed is obtained, we can move the cutting by pressing "C" and then left-clicking to place it elsewhere.

Cuttings cannot be transferred from one plot to another; it will not be possible to move a flower from the farm to the stable or the fairy zone, and vice versa.

To crossbreed flowers, simply plant them in a flower plot. Multiple configurations are possible, the key is to have an open space next to the flowers.

In this guide, I will use the 2x2 square pattern, which I will call a "pot".

To describe plantings, I will use the following format:
example: Pot X: Red Rose + Yellow TulipOrange Rose | Orange Tulip
example: Pot X: ✿Pink Rose + White Lily -> White Rose
An underlined flower is a purchasable seed.
Flowers after the "▶" are the expected results. If another flower variant appears, it should be removed.
Flowers after the "✿" are flowers generated in a previous step.
I systematically remove unwanted flowers according to the guide to keep the images clean. On your side, you can do as you wish.
Part One, Main City Seeds
We are going to start planting with the help of the 3 basic seeds sold by Rosalinda: the red rose, the white lily, and the yellow tulip.
I remind you that you can work on Part 2 of the guide in same time, if you have unlocked the 3 seeds from the fairy village.

With these 3 seeds, we will generate a total of 6 colors for each of these plants, to have at the end :

  • Rose: red, white, yellow, orange, ivory, pink
  • Lily: red, white, yellow, orange, ivory, pink
  • Tulip: red, white, yellow, orange, ivory, pink

We will create 3 pots of 2x2, each capable of producing 2 new variants, totaling 6. These 6 variants will be mixed with basic seeds to obtain 6 more variants. Then, we will perform 3 additional mixings to achieve our final 18 different plants.

Pot 1: Red Rose + White LilyPink Rose | Pink Lily
Pot 2: Red Rose + Yellow TulipOrange Rose | Orange Tulip
Pot 3: White Lily + Yellow TulipIvory Lily | Ivory Tulip

Pot 4: ✿Pink Rose + White LilyWhite Rose
Pot 5: ✿Pink Lily + Red RoseRed Lily
Pot 6: ✿Orange Rose + Yellow TulipYellow Rose
Pot 7: ✿Orange Tulip + Red RoseRed Tulip
Pot 8: ✿Ivory Lily + Yellow TulipYellow Lily
Pot 9: ✿Ivory Tulip + White LilyWhite Tulip

Pot 10: ✿White Rose + ✿Yellow Rose ▶ Ivory Rose
Pot 11: ✿Red Lily + ✿Yellow Lily ▶ Orange Lily
Pot 12: ✿Red Tulip + ✿White Tulip ▶ Pink Tulip

Since this is not very clear in text, I will illustrate it. Here is the setup I have prepared: all purchasable seeds are already in place to save time. The 3 pots on the left correspond to pots 1-2-3, and then there are 6 pots to accommodate the "child" plants and mix them with the basic seeds. Pots 10-11-12 will be set up at the end.

The Setup

Once this setup is created, we will grow the right types of plants.

Pot 1: ▶ Pink Rose | Pink Lily
Pot 2: ▶ Orange Rose | Orange Tulip
Pot 3: ▶ Ivory Lily | Ivory Tulip
We will remove all other variants that may appear.

We will be able to move our flowers to create new mixes.

You have it, the end of Part 1
Part two, the seeds of the fairy village
We can now begin planting with the help of the 3 seeds sold by Asphodel: magenta trillium, blue hyacinth, and green zinnia.
I remind you that you can work on Part 1 of the guide in same time.

With these 3 seeds, we will generate a total of 6 colors for each of these plants, to have at the end :

  • Trillium: blue, green, magenta, black, violet, teal
  • Hyacinth: blue, green, magenta, black, violet, teal
  • Zinnia: blue, green, magenta, black, violet, teal

We will create 3 pots of 2x2, each capable of producing 2 new variants, totaling 6. These 6 variants will be mixed with basic seeds to obtain 6 more variants. Then, we will perform 3 additional mixings to achieve our final 18 different plants.

You have it, the end of Part 2
Part Three (30 variations) Part 1/2
We can now begin planting with the help of the 6 basic seeds.

With these 6 seeds, we will together generate 5 colors for each of these plants, to have at the end :

  • Rose: magenta, black, green, teal, blue
  • Trillium: red, pink, white, ivory, yellow
  • Lily: blue, violet, magenta, black, green
  • Hyacinth: white, ivory, yellow, orange, red
  • Tulip: green, teal, blue, violet, magenta
  • Zinnia: yellow, orange, red, pink, white

We will create 3 pots of 2x2, each of which will produce 2 flowers of the same species but with crossed genes. These 6 crossbred flowers will be mixed with basic seeds to obtain 6 other variants. This step will be repeated 4 times to have our final 30 differents plants.

This step can be very time-consuming; each row is "independent," so if the first row does not produce the desired flower quickly, it does not prevent progress on the other rows.
For the photos, I am advancing all rows simultaneously
⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠

The Setup

Once this configuration is created, we will grow the right types of plants, with a particular focus on genes this time.

Pot 1: ▶ Rose with a magenta gene | Trillium with a red gene
Pot 2: ▶ Lily with a blue gene | Hyacinth with a white gene
Pot 3: ▶ Tulip with a green gene | Zinnia with a yellow gene

The important thing here is to have flowers with genes from both parents.
Example of a plant with 2 genes:

We can now move our flowers to create new mixes.

Pot 4: ✿Rose with a magenta gene + Magenta Trillium
Pot 5: ✿Trillium with a red gene + Red Rose
Pot 6: ✿Lily with a blue gene + Blue Hyacinth
Pot 7: ✿Hyacinth with a white gene + White Lily
Pot 8: ✿Tulip with a green gene + Green Zinnia
Pot 9: ✿Zinnia with a yellow gene + Yellow Tulip

We wait for our flowers to grow and bloom.

Pot 4: ▶ Magenta Rose
Pot 5: ▶ Red Trillium
Pot 6: ▶ Blue Lily
Pot 7: ▶ White Hyacinth
Pot 8: ▶ Green Tulip
Pot 9: ▶ Yellow Zinnia

We have our first 6 desired variants. We will move the child plants to the pots on the right.

Pot 10: ✿Magenta Rose + Green Zinnia
Pot 11: ✿Red Trillium + White Lily
Pot 12: ✿Blue Lily + Magenta Trillium
Pot 13: ✿White Hyacinth + Yellow Tulip
Pot 14: ✿Green Tulip + Blue Hyacinth

We wait for our flowers to grow and bloom.

Pot 10: ▶ Black Rose
Pot 11: ▶ Pink Trillium
Pot 12: ▶ Violet Lily
Pot 13: ▶ Ivory Hyacinth
Pot 14: ▶ Teal Tulip
Pot 15: ▶ Orange Zinnia

We have 6 more desired variants. We will move the child plants to the pots on the right.

Pot 16: ✿Black Rose + Green Zinnia
Pot 17: ✿Pink Trillium + White Lily
Pot 18: ✿Violet Lily + Magenta Trillium
Pot 19: ✿Ivory Hyacinth + Yellow Tulip
Pot 20: ✿Teal Tulip + Blue Hyacinth
Pot 21: ✿Orange Zinnia + Red Rose

We wait for our flowers to grow and bloom.

Pot 16: ▶ Green Rose
Pot 17: ▶ White Trillium
Pot 18: ▶ Magenta Lily
Pot 19: ▶ Yellow Hyacinth
Pot 20: ▶ Blue Tulip
Pot 21: ▶ Pink Zinnia
Part Three (30 variations) Part 2/2

We have 6 more desired variants. We will move the child plants to the following pots on the right.

Pot 22 : ✿Green Rose + Blue Hyacinth
Pot 23 : ✿White Trillium + Yellow Tulip
Pot 24 : ✿Magenta Lily + Green Zinnia
Pot 25 : ✿Yellow Hyacinth + Red Rose

We wait for our flowers to grow and bloom.

Pot 22 : ▶ Teal Rose
Pot 23 : ▶ Ivory Trillium
Pot 24 : ▶ Black Lily
Pot 25 : ▶ Orange Hyacinth
Pot 26 : ▶ Violet Tulip
Pot 27 : ▶ Pink Zinnia

We have 6 more desired variants. We will move the child plants to the following pots on the right.

Pot 28 : ✿Teal Rose + Blue Hyacinth
Pot 29 : ✿Ivory Trillium + Yellow Tulip
Pot 30 : ✿Black Lily + Green Zinnia
Pot 31 : ✿Orange Hyacinth + Red Rose
Pot 32 : ✿Violet Tulip + Magenta Trillium
Pot 33 : ✿Pink Zinnia + White Lily

And there you have it, the end of Part 3
"
Part four (last 6 variations)
Here we are in the final part of the guide. Here, we will create the last 6 variants. It's very quick, but it only uses flowers obtained in Part 3. That's why I preferred to separate it. The final result:

  • Rose: Violet
  • Trillium: Orange
  • Lily: Teal
  • Hyacinth: Pink
  • Tulip: Black
  • Zinnia: Ivory

We will create 6 pots of 2x2, each producing 1 new variant, for a total of 6.

Pot 1: ✿Blue Rose + ✿Magenta Rose ▶ Violet Rose
Pot 2: ✿Yellow Trillium + ✿Red Trillium ▶ Orange Trillium
Pot 3: ✿Green Lily + ✿Blue Lily ▶ Teal Lily
Pot 4: ✿Red Hyacinth + ✿White Hyacinth ▶ Pink Hyacinth
Pot 5: ✿Magenta Tulip + ✿Green Tulip ▶ Black Tulip
Pot 6: ✿White Zinnia + ✿Yellow Zinnia ▶ Ivory Zinnia

Since this might not be very clear in text, I will illustrate it. Here is the setup I have prepared: all the flowers are to be collected in step 3.

The Setup

Once this configuration is created, we will grow the correct plants.

Pot 1: ▶ Violet Rose
Pot 2: ▶ Orange Trillium
Pot 3: ▶ Teal Lily
Pot 4: ▶ Pink Hyacinth
Pot 5: ▶ Black Tulip
Pot 6: ▶ Ivory Zinnia

Its the end of the guide. Now, all that's left is to duplicate the flowers to create your own collection.
