I will show you how to create a project and load a map onto it.

Creating a project.

Name the file and press Create.

Loading a map.

You will see the "NO MAP LOADED" text. If you don't, i don't know how.

To load a map, press Ctrl + L.
This should pop-up.

Select from the tab (make sure you have at least TF2 installed)

Or search. (i.e ctf_2fort.bsp)

Aftermath

If you've followed these steps, the preview screen should have a map on and the "NO MAP LOADED!" text should be gone.

or you could right click on the screen where the text "NO MAP LOADED" is at, and click load map
