Trading
  • There is a list of last prices if you look at an item while being in a shop.
  • The (shift-) list of last selling prices is limited to three. So you still need your own list. Use paper or use the game in windowed mode to use "LibreOffice Calc".
Inventory
  • You need tools to be able use the recipes in your inventory.
  • When use use the recipes, your proficiency grows and at new levels of proficiency you can get new recipes.
  • New recipes have a marker.
Fighting
  • People in the last row who can’t fight can still drive vehicles and their skills can be very useful.
Bases
  • To assign people, click on a factory, then – on the right middle – switch to another tab.
  • Don’t kill the beast, farm it for its resources.
Other
  • You need at least one “Biohazard Suit” in your inventory if you want to enter radioactive areas. You don’t wear them, you just have at least one in your inventory. One is used by the whole team. During use it will lose durability. So having some of them is better.
  • Borderless Window: Settings/Windowed + Your desktop resolution / Steam/Library/Game-Properties/General/Launch Options: -popupwindow

A couple more quality of life tips:
-If you build a command center in your base you can quick travel there (still costs resources but doesn't take time). It's very handy for going between the major areas.
-When buying / selling you can right click to buy/sell the maximum possible amount.
