On this episode of the McGurk Network, Michael spends way too much time talking about a hidden gem that captured his heart.

Thank you all for the continued support of these videos, I really couldn’t do them without all of your support. It truly means the world to me that people out there value the videos I make, and enjoy them as much as I do making them. The next video… well, I’ve got some ideas, but nothing’s currently in full-stage production. Honestly, this whole channel may sit on the backburner for a while. Sad, I know, but college will definitely get in the way a bit, and any frequency I had in uploading at some point will halt. Focusing on myself will be nice, but I’ll definitely miss making videos. I’m not gonna lie, there were times during this channel’s brief history where I wasn’t motivated, where I wanted to give up on creating, where I didn’t think I was good enough. But now, all I see are the hundreds of people I was able to entertain thanks to some editing software and a dream. I won’t quit YouTube or anything, but these types of “hour-long-retrospectives” on games like this will halt for the time being. A Payday 3 video will happen at some point, it all depends on when I guess. And I have some smaller “Ode To”s planned, but for now, I hope this suffices.

It’s crazy how long this video was being made. Like, I unofficially started this some time in March or so, got the footage in May, shelved it in favour of the shorter-form videos that I could make a bit faster, got back to writing, finished writing and the voiceover in August, edited in September, and uploaded now. It’s insane, but worth it, even if nobody sees it. Because the way I look at it, no matter what I’m getting experience in, it’s still experience nonetheless.

Game dev will always be a passion of mine, but I’m confident that if it somehow falls through, I’ll return to video editing full time, spotlighting games I hold a special place for in my heart.
