game crashing after new update

I see a lot of people asking questions about getting mods to work, issues on HDDs, stutters etc.

There's actually a way to get a smoother experience using mods on a HDD. Get this mod https://modworkshop.net/mod/44048 and follow the guide to enable mods without "-fileopenlog" then put a "_P" before the ".pak" on each mod filename for mods that require "-fileopenlog" to work. Some mods might break here and there after some time but if you don't have an SSD this is the optimal way.

if you experience atrocious load times and sound cutting after using -fileopenlog it's because you have it installed an HDD. you need an SSD to mod the game and keep it playable, unfortunately.

Noticing horrible stutters and game just taking longer to load through mods, I assume this has something to do with -fileopenlog maybe? Either way It just doesn't feel worth it considering the huge performance hit you take with even a simple mod that just changes the weapon names.

For some reason when i download any mod, i cant join any game, just freeze and thats it
