To get sounds without popping, change the following line in DOSBox configuration file:
At me, the file is in: ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Tornado\config\dosbox_tornado.conf

From this:
pcspeaker=true

To this:
pcspeaker=false

There is a workaround to get proper soundblaster engine sound (game comes with AdLib) Maybe later I write that, if there is interest.
