When you think about it, Adachi is THE perfect Persona villain because he's a meta commentary on the sorts of people who would find Persona games appealing.

To play a Persona game is to spend dozens if not hundreds of hours living vicariously through a fictional high schooler, pretending to have a life instead of actually having one. You do this all the while being constantly reminded of your own mortality via the in-game calendar system. Time is as much not your friend in Persona as it is in real life.

I think someone who would find all of that a remotely appealing video game would almost by definition have to find Adachi relatable on some level.

hes toxic,puts on a mask in public,slacks off,is lazy and hates romance like me
