Did you buy this game a very long time ago or maybe recently? Are you having the issue that I had, when you play a game or practice and whenever you shoot every single player just drops an embarrassing air-ball like the ball slips from the hands every single time or better yet the shooting bug? Well my friends, after a few hours of denial I have figured out how to fix that:

LIMIT YOUR FPS TO 60 OR 120 OR 144, ALL OF THESE WORK. HIGH FPS IS WHAT CAUSES THE SHOOTING BUG.

I've used RivaTuner Statistics Server which is a little program that you can get after installing MSI afterburner, but I guess every program that can limit fps works. In my case I:

1. Run RivaTuner Satistics Server
2. Set the application detection level to low (sometimes it is set on it already)
3. Toggle on stealth mode
4. Press on the Framerate limit box and type in the desired fps 60/120/144 and press enter
5. Minimize the program (DO NOT CLOSE IT OR IT WILL NOT WORK)
6. Play and enjoy NBA 2K9
