If CS2 workshop tool crashes when you try to open hammer or any other tool I think i have the solution for the problem.



go to [Program Files (x86) / Steam / steamapps / common / Counter-Strike Global Offensive / game / bin / win64]

open csgocfg.exe and open the hammer editor from this .exe file.

NOTE : This is NOT a %100 fix but it worked for me so I hope it works for you too!

First click the rectangle pointed with the red cursors


Then click All Lightning









You should have lights in hammer editor without a ray tracing supported card (these lights are not ray traced)

- If you have a GPU that doesn't support ray tracing you can't full compile you must fast compile which doesnt have cubemaps.
