Optimize low-end computer for playing CS2

Before upgrading my old 7700K computer, I managed to make this old computer barely capable of playing CS2 with these optimization tweaks. I hope this helps you. Please remember that CS 2 is still in beta, and any settings may change soon.

Unfortunately, had to lower them to increase FPS to a playable level, but the visuals are still reasonably good for playing.

This old trick indeed makes a significant difference in CS2 smooth!

Config

Adjust these configs, recommend placing them in your autoexec.cfg file. However, remember to remove them if there are official changes in the future.

cl_updaterate 128
cl_interp_ratio 1
cl_interp "0.015625" fps_max 0

upgrading a 7700k for cs2 is not worth it lol, the low fps is due to the game engine
