Firstly, navigate to

Where "%STEAM%" is wherever you installed steam.

Next, open up the file

Lastly, look for the following


Change the "Tilde" to whatever key that you are not going to use in game, like the # key or whatever you deem neccesary.

You should have something like this


And that's it, Save it and close then launch the game.

Note: Putting in the # or / charachters wont actually trigger the console key. You'll have to type in the actual word for the charachter e.g Tilde instead of ~
